bignatealpha has left the RGR Staff so now I need someone to pick up where he left off. I need someone who can help add content and help add graphics to the RGR Games, you'll make tons of Viz doing this.

Another position I have open is for someone to write up descriptions of the hacked roms and also take screenshots of the hacked roms. Again, you'll make tons of Viz doing this as well (probably even more than the other position).

But PLEASE don't sign up for these positions if you don't have the time for them. Also be sure to tell me why you deserve the position that you're applying for.

I would like this position. I am constantly hunting down hacks,patches of all sorts. I come to this site a lot so i will be active. I really want to help out the RGR because i think it is great what it provides, ease of access to old games that i never got to enjoy and also games made by fans which a lot of times are just as fun if not funner than commercial games.

I am one of the highest active members on the board and I intend to stay that way...

I really would like that position, because then I am able to write descriptions and take screenshots and most of the other jobs you give me...

Could you please take 3 screenshots of 1 of the hacks (1 screenshot being the title screen) and also write up a description which says what's special about the hack. Choose any hack and if you do a good enough job, I'll hire you and we'll use the description and screenshots for the hack you do.

This is the Pokemon Crystal All (hack) Description:

Description: This hack enables you to be able to catch all the Pokemon! This hack also makes the Wild Pokemon and the other enemies harder too!

septembern: I'm sorry septembern but that really doesn't show anything, screenshots should show more than just the 1st minute of a game.

yeah, get a shot of a battle or catching a pokemon or something.

And the screenshot should show what's new or different in the hack. In this case you can catch all the Pokemon so you'd want to take a snapshot of you catching a Pokemon you wouldn't normally see in Pokemon Crystal. Also if a hack has new areas or graphics, you'd take a snapshot displaying the new graphics or new area.

Okay, I will try to do that...

All is fine with the exception of the pidgey screenshot. You can catch pidgey during the daytime in Crystal...so yeah. But I like the Eevee one though.

I edited the other one again... Is it better? I really am trying hard to become perfect for this position ...

septembern: For other Pokemon hacks you'd have to put more time into them. Would probably have to put atleast a half hour into them and get screenshots that are further along in the game than a few minutes and a description which is more thorough.

Ok the hack i chose was Pokemon Black - Special Palace Edition which is a pokemon red hack. i wanted to do a gba hack but i guess you cant take screen shots of those. heres the pics






Description: This is a hack of Pokemon Red. It changes the script some for instance instead of being called gramps the professor is now called wierdo, it also changes the three starters to weedle,caterpie,and bellsprout. it also has redesigned some graphics such as the professor now has a costume on and the lab is a cave and the pokemon center is now a tower. This game is fairly challenging seeing as how the starters aren't the best. There is a glitch that I noticed, when you pick weedle your rival picks caterpie but when you battle he throws a weedle out. Also the names of the cities are change to New york City, Hawaii, Florida,ect and the map is now called a USA map.

Thats all i can really think of that is different other than the system in your room is different and a few name changes.than some name changes.

metal572: You can take screenshots of games without using the emulator, if you press 'Print Screen' on your keyboard, it takes a snapshot of your screen and from there you'd simply just cut out the picture.

Also, please make descriptions at least 1 paragraph unless there's absolutely nothing else to be said about the game. If you can do this, the position is yours.

Ok i edited my previous post and added some more to the description, like i said in my edit i can't think of much more that is different (nothing major anyways).

I did some editing and playing and got a better description and a better picture of a Pokemon.

Description: This hack enables you to be able to catch all the Pokemon; the gold, the silver, and the crystal. The enemies, such as the wild Pokemon are a lot more difficult to defeat, but not only are you able to catch Celebi, you are also able to catch Mew and Mewtwo!

I now understand how to get good pictures and good definitions...

uhhh no. i am the guy who pmed you about wanting to help the rgr and then you sent me the link to here.

Ok just checking, I have many people interested in this position so I just got 2 of them mixed up lol.

im not sure if these positions are open still but im going to post any way will be back soon with screen shots and a review on pokemon of the past. im new to Viz but it sounds like a fun job and i would like to help out.
