thing1 : I'm not really doing anything special for Yellow because my wordy nature allows me to perform well with my normal activity. My average words per post is basically what's given me the lead I currently have.

If you want to push for it, I won't be the one to stop you. I have my goals set, and Yellow isn't one of them. I will keep on getting points there for what I've stated above, but I won't try any harder than usual because a slow poster like me can get easily burnt when shifting up a couple gears, and that's the last thing I'd want now.

I just noticed that the points bar shows me going across, as if I got 0 points. But I got 2 jerseys... I'm so confused.

Making top 10 would be cool and all, but I'd hate to think I'd wind up with it by default. C'mon, people... I'm a total bum. Surely you can knock me out.

Welp, I guess we'll have no Packers pride this month. The Gray banner may end up winning fame for breaking traditions lol

I'm quite saddened to see results fairly low for two consecutive weekends, which is precisely when we should see more activity. What's worse is that results are even lower than during weekdays. Odd, to say the least.

I'm starting to feel a bit pushed to post beyond what I naturally can. I guess I'll have to transfer my efforts to the other jerseys to make up, but I hope I don't feel as pushed there or my participation could end prematurely. I should probably take it easy for a day or two and recharge batteries, but for now I'll keep on going.

Getting overall yellow might end up being a little more difficult than I anticpated. But, looks like I'm gonna have to work a little bit in blue, just to make sure I get to keep it.

Close battle in Overall Red Jersey competition.

Indeed, the battle is quite close. However, as long as I can keep a good pace behind no 8120 and disable a 7 pointer, the gap I have right now will play in my favor for what remains of the week. After that, we'll be in the last third of the competition and I'll be able to start using the secret weapons I've been working in to try to secure my spot.

If I manage to keep this average of 13-15 points a day, I may be able to not only pass the thousand total points, but also pass Singelli for a top 10 spot for most total points with exactly one week to go. That would be incredible, so one more reason to keep my pace going.

We're about to enter the second half of the competition with two jerseys virtually clinched, I honestly doubt anyone can take Blue away from thing1 or Green from no 8120. Two more jerseys as well as rainbow are still being disputed, and I have the feeling that this dispute won't end until the very last days. I better get prepared, this month is already lasting an eternity for me.

EX Palen : Unless no 128 passes me for 2nd, which they might, and makes a run at rainbow, it's pretty much yours. I'm just trying to hang on to 2nd by this point.

Eirinn grabs 2 Jerseys.

Eirinn : I dunno if its just me, but when your username is small to read on the new posts. Its quite a little hard to see with yellow and blue together. Its like as if you are hiding in the bushes or something. And I am wearing glasses just to remind you. I hope my eyes haven't gone crazy lol. Congrats on getting blue and yellow. XD

That seven-pointer yesterday surely was unexpected. I knew I'd do well, but I expected at most the standard five points for wearing this magnificent color.

That result in Red has extended my gap to 10 points. Good to hear, because today I'm not feeling quite well and I'll most probably stay out of the points today unless I can get myself together in the next 90 minutes. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to make up any lost ground.

I'd really like someone besides me or thing1 to step up in Yellow so each jersey can have a different winner. Looks unlikely, even more since either he or me won't stop scoring altogether, so I guess my hopes of wearing just Red can only pass by thing1 overtaking my wordy nature.

EX Palen : Wish granted on Yellow. I don't really want to compete, but I have little choice now that I've launched the RPG test thread. It's compete or get DQ'd, and while I don't exactly want to compete, I also don't want to get DQ'd when I didn't even do anything wrong (since I wouldn't be cheating, just posting as normal) since it carries this "cheater" stigma. lol

So now I guess I have to try at least doubling the amount of words I use in those posts.


Eniitan : lol It's forum hide and seek with Eirinn. :3 I actually really like the way it looks, but I don't expect to get Blue often enough for it to matter. I'd really like a way to get this color on off months too though...

Easy points in Blue Jersey competition.

Not only in Blue, in all jerseys. Numbers yesterday were very low, though maybe I should be grateful because I couldn't do much yet I maintained my average.

Today we'll see higher numbers, at least for Red and Green, because the time has come for me to unleash one of my hidden weapons. This should allow me to get back to a gap of +10 points with no 8120 in Red, so if the week goes as planned I could see myself with quite a big gap for the last ten days.

Eirinn : Your wordy nature versus my own wordy nature, which shall prevail?

Yeah, getting points will be very easy for someone like you. There's quite a gap between us two, but if you manage to score at least 2 more points than me everyday the jersey will be yours. Shouldn't be too hard, though we'll have to see where can we place each day because Yellow can have single-day participants with ease.

Looks like we'll have some action in Yellow right after I put up a gap in Red. Will I ever get some rest before February kicks in?

EX Palen : I won't compete today since I didn't get a chance to update the RPG before half of the players were in bed. Life happened. lol I'll be back at it starting tomorrow I'm sure. Congrats on how well you're doing btw.

EX Palen grabs 2 Jerseys.

Well, I felt a bit short in that attempt to get a 7 pointer in Red, so the gap stays nearly the same. Let's see if I can push it to 10+ points between today and tomorrow because the weekend could be a bit slow for me.

With yesterday's results I've surpassed 50 total jerseys, 25 of them being Red. Another mini-milestone reached, which will be followed by the real milestone that is 1k total points to be achieved during the weekend (as long as I keep my average scoring). Not much more I could aim for, so it's nice to see I could complete that with some 10 days to spare.

With thing1 disappearing from sight, the gap has now extended to nearly 70 points between him and me, so it looks like focusing only in my battle for Red, neutralising no 8120's earnings in the process, would be enough to clinch Rainbow as well. I'll still save a few weapons just so I'm not caught off-guard, but besides that I can take this a bit easier now.

Interesting to see that I placed in Red. I was kind of worried that it was Yellow, since I only made one or two posts yesterday I figured I was about to see a DQ.
I couldn't seriously compete for Red even if I wanted to, but given my backlog of staff work that I need to complete, I'll probably place a few more times if competition doesn't pick up in it.
