A great Passtime   petrocelli987456
Super Smash Bros. The excellent battling Nintendo diversion that each gamer has played in their lives. Discharged in the April of 1999, this amusement took the world as a shock. This was the first of its kind that Nintendo had discharged. A beat them up comprising of distinctive Nintendo establishments had never been considered ever by anybody. Not all that much organizations had thought about a beat them up amusement like this. What's more, that was something worth being thankful for. Just in the U.S., it sold 2.93 million duplicates. In Japan, it sold 1.97 million duplicates. That, in addition to different nations, makes it 5 million duplicates sold around the world.
As should be obvious, this diversion was clearly an extraordinary accomplishment for Nintendo and its business accomplices. They made more after this exemplary diversion. As an audit creator, I must hotshot regardless of whether this diversion is justified, despite all the trouble. Presently, I exhibit you, my third survey. Particularly for the exemplary Super Smash Bros.
Graphics - 8
Yes. 8. These design, without a doubt, are divine for when this diversion was created. 1999. Numerous individuals think it was in the 2000s when this was discharged. It wasn't. Also, this 8 is the thing that I think what the illustrations are. I'll intricate.
For one thing, to begin this survey off, are the characters. For 1999, the endeavor at 3D characters were basically astounding. Of course, a couple of illustrations weren't attracted to scale as others were, however take a gander at it. Is it accurate to say that it isn't astounding how they made this? Each of the characters are made up pleasantly, from Luigi to Jigglypuff. Every individual bend and movement of the character is the manner by which it fundamentally be on the off chance that it were genuine living. The foes that aren't characters are likewise made to flawlessness. How about we take Master Hand. He ACTUALLY resembles a hand. Also, a better than average one, as well. The shading shows as though the character was genuine and wearing a glove. Alternately the polygon group. They were made to demonstrate the general lines and corners of every character. What's more, kid, made they do a showing. Not just were the polygon colleagues lovely, they were superbly made. You can fundamentally call it a skeleton of a genuine character. Furthermore, it's astonishing. The characters were the most grounded point in the illustrations.
Also, the war zones. Despite the fact that they were only a tiny bit less amazing than the characters, they were incredible, in any case. Every one was incredible, indicating each establishment the amusement comprised of. One that rings a bell is the Silph Co. course for Pokemon. That one was stunning. It had an extraordinary foundation, genuine structures to remain on, stuff like that. Without a doubt, they were little, however recollect. This was 1999. What amount of representation might they be able to press into the diversion? I was somewhat disillusioned in those Pokemon that pop out and assault on the Silph Co. course, yet it wasn't too awful. They were 2D and somewhat terrible, at the same time, meh. Another sample for a war zone is the DK field. A pleasant, unique field it is. It's similar to an extension kind of thing. The foundation seems as though it were a genuine wilderness, and the field itself was perfectly shown. They demonstrated the courses off great, for the day and age they were in.
Thirdly, and general in conclusion for the representation, were the things. The things were less noteworthy than alternate things above, cutting straight to the chase. I wasn't as inspired, however I ought to be. They made a decent showing with them. I was really stunned at a couple of them, however others, not really. They were, generally, 2D. The representation were a bit blurrier and more pixelized. They pressed the vast majority of the illustrations into the combat zones and characters, so normally the space left in the diversion for things was a touch cramped, and I get that. I simply think they could have improved, yet I don't point the finger at them. They benefited work, however they could have been cleaner and more composed. This was truly the primary variable in the lessening of the design score.
Sounds - 10
For an amusement in the 90s, the sounds were marvelous. Truly fun, empowering, and gets you in the state of mind for a fight. I truly adored the sounds a considerable measure. This was most likely the best part of the diversion, if not the representation. I'll clarify a touch about this.
For one thing, the music when all is said in done. Would you like to know how AWESOME they sounded? Now and then, they were something from another round of the establishment, or it was just naturally created music. Some music was loco and made you need to move your approach to triumph. Other music made you need to battle and beat your foe's butt right off. Others were simply mitigating, unwinding music. Whatever it was, it was great music. It was all truly pleasant and fun, and fit the appearance or disposition of the course or thing. The Star Fox one, for instance. In case you're on a mothership in space outside of Sector Z battling for your life, do you need great music to fit the temperament? No. However, this amusement did it at any rate, and made an astounding showing fitting the temperament of space battling. The beat of the music made you battle in a cadence, or the general music pumped you up in the event that you were in the dumps. Then again, take the star force music for instance. It was from the first Mario diversion, and I cherished it there. In any case, in this amusement, it was a bit redid, and it was okay. The music was awesome.
Second, the commotions the characters or things make that aren't music. The sounds are awesome. The commotions sound clear and not foggy by any means. It's truly decent, and not some malevolent feline shrieking on the off chance that you get it. It's a delicate thuump or an oof! in the event that they get hit. What's more, they are clear. I can't say that enough. Take Pikachu for instance. His "Pika!" isn't some fat 30 year old saying "Pika" into a mic while plastered. It's an unmistakable, mouselike clamor that seems like a really Pokemon on the off chance that it were genuine. Then again the thunder Pikachu utilizes, for instance. It's really sensible. You can hear a thunder of thunder, and afterward when the jolt hits Pikachu, bzzt! It sounds like Pikachu was really stunned by a lightning jolt. Is it Pikachu, as well as Mario and others, as well. Mario hollers "Yippee!" and his other character quotes as well. All truly clear. We should take a thing, similar to the carton for instance, as well. On the off chance that you hit it, it thunders as though you kicked a crate with things in it. In the event that you break it, it (sort of) sounds like wood broke. Point being, these clamors are clear.
Third, the clamors the assaults make. I scratched the theme of this with Pikachu's jolt to demonstrate a little point. Yet, to me, it's more than a jolt. It's a great deal more. Like the jolt, different assaults make truly decent and relating clamors. Like Mario's fireball. When you discharged it, it made a little ploop kind of clamor. As it bobbed, it made some more commotions, then halted. On the other hand, on the off chance that it hit somebody, it seemed like a little ignition of flares, well, touching off on the adversary for a brief moment or two. Alternately Fox's weapon. It makes a "seat" kind of sound, making it sounds like a cliché firearm. Thinking of it as' a laser firearm, it really fits the state of mind of the weapon. Then again even punches and kicks. In the event that you don't hit something, it was fundamentally the swooshing of air around the assault. In the event that it hits, it sounds like a crash against something. It truly bodes well, and it truly interests me how they did it in the year of 1999. It was a truly decent perspective. These were.
Addictiveness - 9
This diversion is extremely addictive. A nine. Why? I'll clarify.
It had a truly pleasant method for wrapping numerous things up. I'll clarify in diverse perspectives of the amusement.
The Battle and Practice modes will be the first angle I'll hit. These modes are the place the characters are pit together into a battle, clearly. The fight mode has kind of a story mode... Like I said, kind of. It's a line of fights with diverse characters, with distinctive stages. It begins simple, and gets harder when you advance. There are a few stages with only one foe, a group of them, or Master Hand (dun). You can play on diverse phases of trouble, including Very Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. Every one is, as you got it, diverse in trouble. I'll clarify more about these later, however. My point is this part is VERY fun if its all the same to you gentle tedium. The supervisors are hard, the characters can be hard, it's fair... amazing. The practice mode isn't generally implied for no particular reason, yet to practice your aptitudes or attempting to experiment with a few moves. It offers you some assistance with honing your abilities and stuff like that. It can be fun in the event that you need to kind of play around with the menu, yet that is not as fun. I'll go truly into profundity for this later, yet starting now, I'm just going to lay it down here: The fight mode is extremely fun relying upon trouble, however practice isn't intended to be.
Next, the objective practice mode. This can be pretty fun, I'll say. Individuals don't think along these lines, yet this can really entertain you. Each character has an alternate course and set of stages. It's extremely fun on the off chance that you simply need to relax and kind of break simply, well, break targets. I'll attempt to clarify. Every set is extremely fun because of the turn or transforms they actualized into the amusement. A few spots do have glitches where you can cheat, however, yet I would prefer not to get into that. All I'll say in regards to the glitches is that it makes it somewhat less fun, because of the actuality it gets to be less demanding. Be that as it may, that is not imperative. What is that the truth of the matter is, they made it harder than alternate perspectives, truly. There are no trouble levels, yet there are spots they made it so you can't utilize a sure move, hit the objective effectively, and so forth. It's pretty fun, to be completely forthright. It's underrated, and truly can be justified, despite all the trouble on the off chance that you truly attempt to mess around with it.
In conclusion about this, the board the stages. These aren't as fun, however that is my feeling. Try not to misunderstand me, it's pretty fun. In spite of the fact that, it's not as fun as the other two classes. It's marginally less demanding, and the courses are a bit less demanding, too. There are, then again, bends that make it genuinely troublesome, which is the part that makes it really decent. It's fundamentally where you explore around a riddle of a stage, and get on a stage. That affirms you've "boarded" it, and you go to the following one. It's less demanding as in you get additional standing spots, however harder in the feeling of, well, stage outlines. It's not tedious, as they're in better places and on diverse stages for every character, in the same way as other individuals think. Despite the fact that I detest it that much, however it is likewise underrated. The fanbase of this part is low, yet for no careful reason. I for one believe it's not too terrible, but rather could be better. It relies on upon feeling and how you like things, truly.
Finishing a few missions on these modes can get you up to four extra characters! That is kind of justified, despite all the trouble, as they are really pleasant by and large. Not just that, a stage can be opened as well. I'll go into these at a later time.
Story - N/A
There is no story in this amusement, as most beat them up diversions there are on the planet. In any case, there is an inquisitive foundation thing that a few individuals have been pondering I need to address. Here I go:
There's been talk after this amusement that this universe is yet a pack of toys. What's more, that could be valid. Keep in mind, the characters are tossed out of a mid-section by "Expert Hand" toward the starting in a customary room on a work area with a "stage." The hypothesis is that the universe is just toys, controlled by a kid or young lady. The introduction is only a sample. Second, the battlers could be a kid who's simply playing with his, well, play things. Toward the end, Master Hand is exactly when the kid comes up short on toys to play with, and just plays with his hand. When you beat the amusement, recall how the entryway closes? I wager the kid comes up short on things to play with (counting his hand) and just leaves after the toy beats the manager. Thirdly, and in conclusion, the last indication is the point at which you come up short on lives and get a "Proceed with?" screen. The toy is only a ragdoll sort thing, encompassed by a tyke's toy, toy boxes, stuff like that. In the event that you squeeze yes, it bounced up, prepared to go.
That was only a fun goody I, and numerous others, had seen, that I quite recently needed to put in the story area.
depth - 5
I'm giving the profundity a 5. Despite the fact that what the amusement modes offers is terrific, it doesn't offer all that much modes themselves. Just three modes (fight, target, and stages) is the thing that it gives, or four on the off chance that you need to check hone mode. I'll intricate, and I'll do whatever it takes not to affront anybody. I'm going to clarify the four modes and what they offer to make the diversion fun and justified, despite all the trouble. Not at all like above, practice mode will have its own classification, however it might be short. Additionally, I will quickly rub the point of unlockables.
To begin with, how about we hit fight mode. This part has 12 distinct characters to utilize, four of which that are unlockable. It has a line of fights, each comprising of an alternate character. I've said before that there can be one adversary, or huge numbers of them. You can play as any of the exhibited characters in the line, with the exception of the Polygon Team or Master Hand. There are likewise diverse stages for every one, contingent upon the character. For instance. a Mario themed territory for the fight against Mario and Luigi. These stages have diverse niche and corners, and it relies on upon what advantages are embedded relying upon when you battle them. Stages that are a bit toward the starting have less livens against you, yet close to the end, the advantages conflict with you (Master Hand's, on the other hand, is plain and has no points of interest or burdens). There are distinctive challenges that I clarified previously. Those are fundamentally how hard or not you need the diversion to be (clarification later) amid your matches. It can fluctuate from Very Easy to Very Hard, and the names entirety them up great. There are additionally lives in fight mode, and you can pick the amount you need. This is additionally a decent component for individuals who need to pick a trouble of their decision, yet need to make it simpler (or flavor it up.). This part has an extraordinary offer. The fight part is stunning, no doubt. Exaggerated, beyond any doubt. Be that as it may, justified, despite all the trouble.
Besides, rehearse mode. This'll be a short a portion of profundity. Rehearse mode is essentially fight mode, however with a great deal more opportunities. There is no line of characters, however exactly where you can pick a character, an adversary, and what stage you need. It's the place you can test things, proceeds onward an adversary, or battle it out without going in a tremendous line. There are no amount of troubles on this part, so I figure the adversary is Normal trouble, yet don't cite me on that. You can switch camera sees, how quick everything goes, what things you need, what the foe does, et cetera. Practically only a spot where a man can play around or, well, simply practice and sharpen his aptitudes. That is truly what's to practice mode on Super Smash Bros. Not exceptionally amazing, but rather by and large helpful for when you can't make them go, or in case you're new.
Thirdly, target hone. I've scratched this a tiny bit, however never truly got the chance to wrap up. This has no troubles, so I'll expect it's simply ordinary mode. What this is for will be for stimulation and some additional focuses in fight mode. What you must do is straightforward: Clear the greater part of the objectives as quick as could be expected under the circumstances. For every character, the objectives are stirred up, and the stages are all diverse. Every stages coordinates some subject of the character you use for the mission. Every stage has some kind of peculiarity or liven that makes it harder or interesting, and make it so you take a while. Now and again, it gets tedious. Be that as it may, it is pretty fun. At a few focuses, they make you consider what to do. Do they need you to hop, or shoot a went weapon at it? It's the rush of it. That as well as some of these objectives are put in ranges where you need to consider where to go. Once in a while, one wrong move can mean a gigantic disappointment. It's underrated, and at a few focuses dull, yet by and large, it's pretty fun. Harder courses and target regions = The measure of fun you have!
Fourthly, is stage rehearse. Yes, I've discussed it and how I don't generally like it that much as I could. Yet, that doesn't mean it's not a decent purpose of the diversion. It's genuinely charming, and most likely is really pleasant. Fundamentally, you need to board stages as, you got it, quick as could be expected under the circumstances. The arrangement is to effectively board them. This doesn't make you think as much, because of the way that you can remain on these, yet, you must be really key. On the off chance that you hop down too far to hit a stage, you will be unable to get go down. It's really kind of like target practice. Every stage has some crucial step in it, and a few stages that are set strangely. It's really exciting at a few focuses. You can choose what to do on every stage, however, which is the thing that turns me down to it. Be that as it may, don't misunderstand me. On the off chance that you like this some portion of the amusement, that is extraordinary. It's underrated, and is entirely fun. I simply don't have the taste to like it as much.
Presently, I need to scratch a point I needed to address truly rapidly. Unlockables. Unlockable characters and stages are those that require a mission to open them. There are four extra characters and one unlockable stage. I'm not going to ruin how to get them for you, yet I might in a future post. Attempt to discover and do missions, and you'll get new things and components.
difficulty - 5/N/A
I wager you were going to seethe at ol' prude for rating trouble down a considerable measure. All things considered, I didn't mean it like that. You can't generally have a trouble on this. 5 is half-half, or "not accessible". This will be a snappy and simple consummation of an enormous survey.
To begin with, I need to clarify the five decisions of trouble which are just accessible to you in fight mode, similar to each beat them up:
Easy: This is fundamentally, well, the most straightforward of all of them. This is prescribed for more current or more youthful players who can't make them go. You can kind of contrast it with the child ventures of this diversion. The characters are to a great degree simple to beat and the stages and things work with you.
Simple: The second most straightforward trouble. Very little not quite the same as above. This is more for individuals you need to get up from gradual steps and work upwards. The characters are harder than some time recently, yet at the same time, VERY simple. Very little contrast on the stage/thing principle.
typical : You can feel more of a distinction here. This is for individuals why should beginning stand up without a backing. The characters are harder, and the things and stages begin to conflict with you. Still, less demanding than the following two, yet beginning to arrive.
Hard: My undisputed top choice. This is when stuff truly gets troublesome. Characters are much harder, and the things/stages are not going to go for your chances. This is an awesome trouble for standard players.
Hard: The best of all of them. Truly. This is the hardest thing ever. Characters are REALLY savvy, and the things/arranges presumably aren't going to help at all at a few focuses. I play on this a ton, yet more often than not wind up losing three or more lives. It's magnificent, and incredible for thrill seekers.
These are fundamentally what they are. You can just pick your trouble in the fight matches mode. Alternate modes have set trouble, which aren't and/or can't be indicated. I get a kick out of the chance to think about those as "Ordinary" trouble, however that may not be what it is. That is about it for trouble, unfortunately enough.
Much obliged to you such a great amount for perusing an augmented audit by me, goodboy! I truly appreciated written work this, and got disappointed when I lost the first duplicate. I made this second duplicate, and kid, it was excellent, isn't that so? This is my third audit, and I truly trust you delighted in it. I trust I didn't hurt anybody amid the making of this, and on the off chance that I did, my respects.
Much obliged once more!

Bam! Super Smash Bros. Review by GB (Over 3500 words!)   goodboy
Is this game grand, or terrible?
That's my job to answer.
Super Smash Bros. The classic fighting Nintendo game that almost every gamer has played in their lives. Released in the April of 1999, this game took the world as a surprise. This was the first of its kind that Nintendo had released. A beat 'em up consisting of different Nintendo franchises had never been thought of ever before by anyone. Not very much companies had thought of a beat 'em up game like this. And that was a good thing. Just in the U.S., it sold 2.93 million copies. In Japan, it sold 1.97 million copies. That, plus other countries, makes it 5 million copies sold world wide.
As you can see, this game was obviously a great success for Nintendo and its business partners. They made more after this classic game. As a review author, it's my job to show off whether or not this game is worth it. Now, I present you, my 3rd review. Specifically for the classic Super Smash Bros.
Graphics - 8
Yes. 8. These graphics, to say the least, are divine for when this game was developed. 1999. Many people think it was in the 2000s when this was released. It wasn't. And this 8 is what I think what the graphics are. I'll elaborate.
First off, to start this review off, are the characters. For 1999, the attempt at 3D characters were simply amazing. Sure, a few graphics weren't drawn to scale as others were, but look at it. Isn't it amazing how they made this? Each of the characters are made up nicely, from Luigi to Jigglypuff. Each individual curve and motion of the character is how it basically be if it were real life. The enemies that aren't characters are also made to perfection. Let's take Master Hand. He ACTUALLY looks like a hand. And a really good one, too. The color shows as if the character was real and wearing a glove. Or the polygon team. They were made to show the overall lines and corners of each character. And boy, did they do a job. Not only were the polygon team members pretty, they were perfectly made. You can basically call it a skeleton of a real character. And it's amazing. The characters were the strongest point in the graphics.
Secondly, the battlefields. Although they were just a tad bit less impressive than the characters, they were great, nonetheless. Each one was great, showing almost every franchise the game consisted of. One that comes to mind is the Silph Co. course for Pokemon. That one was amazing. It had a great background, actual buildings to stand on, stuff like that. Sure, they were small, but remember. This was 1999. How much graphics could they squeeze into the game? I was a bit disappointed in those Pokemon that pop out and attack on the Silph Co. course, but it wasn't too bad. They were 2D and a bit ugly, but, meh. Another example for a battlefield is the DK field. A nice, original field it is. It's like a bridge sort of thing. The background looks like it were a real jungle, and the field itself was beautifully displayed. They showed the courses off quite well, for the day and age they were in.
Thirdly, and overall lastly for the graphics, were the items. The items were less impressive than the other things above, to be completely honest. I wasn't as impressed, though I should be. They did a nice job with them. I was pretty amazed at a few of them, but others, not so much. They were, for the most part, 2D. The graphics were a bit blurrier and more pixelized. They squeezed most of the graphics into the battlefields and characters, so naturally the space left in the game for items was a bit cramped, and I get that. I just think they could have done a bit better, but I don't blame them. They did a good job, but they could have been cleaner and more organized. This was really the main factor in the reduction of the graphics score.
Sounds - 9
For a game in the 90s, the sounds were awesome. Really fun, invigorating, and gets you in the mood for a battle. I really loved the sounds a lot. This was probably the best aspect of the game, if not the graphics. I'll explain a bit about this.
First off, the music in general. Do you want to know how AWESOME they sounded? Sometimes, they were something from another game of the franchise, or it was just freshly composed music. Some music was funky and made you want to dance your way to victory. Other music made you want to fight and beat your enemy's butt right off. Others were just soothing, relaxing music. Whatever it was, it was good music. It was all really enjoyable and fun, and fit the appearance or mood of the course or item. The Star Fox one, for example. If you're on a mothership in space outside of Sector Z fighting for your life, do you want good music to fit the mood? No. But this game did it anyways, and did an amazing job fitting the mood of outer space fighting. The beat of the music made you fight in a rhythm, or the overall music pumped you up if you were in the dumps. Or, take the star power music for example. It was from the original Mario game, and I loved it there. But in this game, it was a bit revamped, and it was really good. The music was fabulous.
Second, the noises the characters or items make that aren't music. The sounds are great. The noises sound clear and not foggy at all. It's really nice, and not some evil cat screeching if you get it. It's a soft thuump or an oof! if they get hit. And they are clear. I just can't say that enough. Take Pikachu for example. His "Pika!" isn't some fat 30 year old saying "Pika" into a mic while drunk. It's a clear, mouselike noise that sounds like an actually Pokemon if it were real. Or the thunder Pikachu uses, for example. It's pretty realistic. You can hear a rumble of thunder, and then when the bolt hits Pikachu, bzzt! It sounds like Pikachu was actually shocked by a lightning bolt. Not only is it Pikachu, but Mario and others, too. Mario yells "Yahoo!" and his other character quotes too. All really clear. Let's take an item, like the crate for example, too. If you hit it, it rumbles as if you kicked a box with items in it. If you break it, it (kind of) sounds like wood broke. Point being, these noises are clear.
Third, the noises the attacks make. I scraped the topic of this with Pikachu's bolt to prove a little point. But to me, it's more than a bolt. It's much more. Like the bolt, other attacks make really nice and corresponding noises. Like Mario's fireball. When you released it, it made a little ploop sort of noise. As it bounced, it made some more noises, then stopped. Or, if it hit someone, it sounded like a little ignition of flames, well, igniting on the opponent for a split second or two. Or Fox's gun. It makes a "pew" sort of sound, making it sounds like a stereotypical gun. Considering it's a laser gun, it actually fits the mood of the gun. Or even punches and kicks. If you don't hit something, it was basically the swooshing of air around the attack. If it hits, it sounds like a thud against something. It really makes sense, and it really intrigues me how they did it in the year of 1999. It was a really nice aspect. All of these were.
Addictiveness - 9
This game is very addictive. A nine. Why? I'll explain.
It had a really nice way of wrapping many things up. I'll explain in different views of the game.
The Battle and Practice modes will be the first aspect I'll hit. These modes are where the characters are pit together into a fight, obviously. The battle mode has sort of a story mode... Like I said, sort of. It's a line of battles with different characters, with different stages. It starts out easy, and gets harder when you progress. There are some stages with just one enemy, a team of them, or Master Hand (dun dun dun). You can play on different stages of difficulty, including Very Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. Each one is, as you guessed it, different in difficulty. I'll explain more about these later, though. My point is this part is VERY fun if you don't mind mild repetitiveness. The bosses are hard, the characters can be hard, it's just... wow. The practice mode isn't really meant for fun, but for practicing your skills or trying to try out some moves. It helps you hone your skills and stuff like that. It can be fun if you want to sort of play around with the menu, but that's not as fun. I'll go really into depth for this later, but as of now, I'm just gonna lay it down here: The battle mode is very fun depending on difficulty, but practice isn't meant to be.
Next, the target practice mode. This can be pretty fun, I'll say. People don't think so, but this can actually amuse you. Every character has a different course and set of stages. It's very fun if you just want to chill out and sort of break just, well, break targets. I'll try to explain. Each set is very fun due to the twist or turns they implemented into the game. Some places do have glitches where you can cheat, though, but I don't want to get into that. All I'll say about the glitches is that it makes it a bit less fun, due to the fact it becomes easier. But that's not important. What is is that the fact is, they made it harder than the other aspects, really. There are no difficulty levels, but there are places they made it so you can't use a certain move, hit the target easily, etc. It's pretty fun, to be honest. It's underrated, and really can be worth it if you really try to have fun with it.
Lastly about this, the board the platforms stages. These aren't as fun, but that's my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty fun. Although, it's not as fun as the other two categories. It's slightly easier, and the courses are a bit easier, as well. There are, however, twists that make it fairly difficult, which is the part that makes it pretty nice. It's basically where you navigate around a puzzle of a stage, and get on a platform. That confirms you've "boarded" it, and you go to the next one. It's easier in the sense that you get extra standing places, but harder in the sense of, well, stage designs. It's not repetitive, as they're in different places and on different stages for each character, like many people think. Even though I don't enjoy it that much, but it is also underrated. The fanbase of this part is low, but for no exact reason. I personally think it's not too bad, but could be better. It depends on opinion and how you like things, really.
Completing some missions on these modes can get you up to four bonus characters! That's sort of worth it, as they are pretty nice overall. Not only that, a stage can be unlocked too. I'll go into these at a later time.
Story - N/A
There is no story in this game, like most beat 'em up games there are in the world. However, there is a curious background thing that some people have been wondering I want to address. Here I go:
There's been a rumor ever since this game that this universe is but a bunch of toys. And that could be true. Remember, the characters are thrown out of a chest by "Master Hand" at the beginning in a regular bedroom on a desk with a "stage." The theory is is that the universe is just toys, controlled by a boy or girl. The intro is just an example. Second, the battlers could be a boy who's just playing with his, well, play things. At the end, Master Hand is just when the boy runs out of toys to play with, and just plays with his hand. When you beat the game, remember how the door closes? I bet the boy runs out of things to play with (including his hand) and just leaves after the toy beats the boss. Thirdly, and lastly, the last hint is when you run out of lives and get a "CONTINUE?" screen. The toy is just a ragdoll type thing, surrounded by a child's toy, toy boxes, stuff like that. If you press yes, it jumps up, ready to go.
That was just a fun tidbit I, and many others, had noticed, that I just had to put in the story section.
Depth - 7
I'm giving the depth a 7. Even though what the game modes offers is grand, it doesn't offer very much modes themselves. Only three modes (battle, target, and platforms) is what it gives, or four if you want to count practice mode. I'll elaborate, and I'll try not to offend anyone. I'm going to explain the four modes and what they offer to make the game fun and worth it. Unlike above, practice mode will have its own category, though it may be short. Also, I will briefly scrape the topic of unlockables.
First, let's hit battle mode. This part has 12 different characters to use, four of which that are unlockable. It has a line of battles, each consisting of a different character. I've said before that there can be one enemy, or many of them. You can play as any of the presented characters in the line, except the Polygon Team or Master Hand. There are also different stages for each one, depending on the character. For example. a Mario themed area for the battle against Mario and Luigi. These stages have different nook and crannies, and it depends on what perks are inserted depending on when you fight them. Stages that are a bit at the beginning have less perks against you, but near the end, the perks work against you (Master Hand's, however, is plain and has no advantages or disadvantages). There are different difficulties that I explained above. Those are basically how hard or not you want the game to be (explanation later) during your matches. It can vary from Very Easy to Very Hard, and the names sum them up quite well. There are also lives in battle mode, and you can choose how much you want. This is also a good feature for people who want to choose a difficulty of their choice, but want to make it easier (or spice it up.). This part has a great offer. The battle part is amazing, hands down. Overrated, sure. But worth it.
Secondly, practice mode. This'll be a short part of depth. Practice mode is basically battle mode, but with much more freedoms. There is no line of characters, but just where you can choose a character, an enemy, and what stage you want. It's where you can test items, moves on an enemy, or fight it out without going in a huge line. There are no level of difficulties on this part, so I guess the enemy is Normal difficulty, but don't quote me on that. You can switch camera views, how fast it all goes, what items you want, what the enemy does, and so on. Pretty much just a place where a person can play around or, well, just practice and hone his skills. That's really what's to practice mode on Super Smash Bros. Not very impressive, but generally useful for when you just can't get it going, or if you're new.
Thirdly, target practice. I've scraped this a little bit, but never really got to finish. This has no difficulties, so I'll assume it's just normal mode. What this is for is for entertainment and some extra points in battle mode. What you've got to do is simple: Clear all of the targets as fast as possible. For each character, the targets are mixed up, and the stages are all different. Each stages matches some theme of the character you use for the mission. Each stage has some sort of oddity or perk that makes it harder or unique, and make it so you take a while. Sometimes, it gets repetitive. But it is pretty fun. At some points, they make you think of what to do. Do they want you to jump, or shoot a ranged weapon at it? It's the thrill of it. Not only that, but some of these targets are placed in areas where you have to think about where to go. Sometimes, one wrong move can mean a huge failure. It's underrated, and at some points repetitive, but overall, it's pretty fun. Harder courses and target areas = The amount of fun you have!
Fourthly, is platform practice. Yes, I've talked about it and how I don't really like it that much as I could. But that doesn't mean it's not a good point of the game. It's fairly enjoyable, and surely is pretty nice. Basically, you have to board platforms as, you guessed it, fast as possible. The plan is to successfully board them. This doesn't make you think as much, due to the fact that you can stand on these, but still, you have to be pretty strategic. If you jump down too far to hit a platform, you may not be able to get back up. It's actually sort of like target practice. Each stage has some hard part in it, and some platforms that are placed oddly. It's pretty thrilling at some points. You can decide on what to do on each platform, though, which is what turns me down to it. But do not get me wrong. If you like this part of the game, that's great. It's underrated, and is actually pretty fun. I just don't have the taste to like it as much.
Now, I want to scratch a topic I wanted to address really quickly. Unlockables. Unlockable characters and stages are those that require a mission to unlock them. There are four bonus characters and one unlockable stage. I'm not going to spoil how to get them for you, but I may in a future post. Try to find and do missions, and you'll get new things and features.
Difficulty - 5 / N/A
I bet you were about to rage at ol' goody two shoes for rating difficulty down a lot. Well, I didn't mean it like that. You can't really have a difficulty on this. 5 is half-half, or "not available". This will be a quick and easy ending to a huge review. ;)
First, I want to explain the five choices of difficulty which are only available to you in battle mode, like every beat 'em up:
Very Easy: This is basically, well, the easiest of them all. This is recommended for newer or younger players who can't get it going. You can sort of compare it to the baby steps of this game. The characters are extremely easy to beat and the stages and items work with you.
Easy: The second easiest difficulty. Not much different than above. This is more for people you want to get up from baby steps and work upwards. The characters are harder than before, but still, VERY easy. Not much difference on the stage/item rule.
Normal: You can feel a bit more of a difference here. This is for people who are starting to stand up without a support. The characters are harder, and the items and stages start to work against you. Still, easier than the next two, but starting to get there.
Hard: My personal favorite. This is when stuff really gets difficult. Characters are much harder, and the items/stages are not gonna go for your odds. This is a great difficulty for regular players.
Very Hard: The best of them all. Seriously. This is the hardest thing ever. Characters are REALLY smart, and the items/stages probably aren't gonna help at all at some points. I play on this a lot, but usually end up losing three or more lives. It's awesome, and great for dare devils.
These are basically what they are. You can only choose your difficulty in the battle matches mode. The other modes have set difficulty, which aren't and/or cannot be specified. I like to think of those as "Normal" difficulty, though that may not be what it is. That's about it for difficulty, sadly enough.
Thank you so much for reading an extended review by me, goodboy! I really enjoyed writing this, and got frustrated when I lost the first copy. I made this second copy, and boy, it was beautiful, right? This is my third review, and I really hope you enjoyed it. I hope I didn't hurt anyone during the making of this, and if I did, my regards.
Thanks again! :D

Super smash bros 64 review   SacredShadow
Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing Super smash bros for the n64! This is perhaps the best video game series I have ever had the pleasure of playing, I have played melee and brawl, and have the pleasure of owning them both, but I am also able to play the game that started it all on vizzed! So super smash bros is basically a 2d crossover of 12 of nintendo's most popular and recognizable characters like link, mario, samus and kirby for example. This great game was released to the world in 1999 and I thoroughly enjoy playing it. I will say though, the more people playing, the more fun. Nevertheless, a great game overall and I would consider it to be one of the best multiplayer fighting games on the N64 and just in general, but that is my opinion on it. Now on to the review!
Gameplay: 9
Even though this really isn't a category, I thought I should just scrape the basics on this game and how it all works. This is a 2d fighting game and it is based off of knocking your opponent off of a stage rather than depleting a life bar. Each player has a total amount of damage in which they receive, it is represented by a percentage which goes up with the more damage you take, it can exceed 100% with a maximum of 999% just like in brawl. The higher the damage is, the farther the character can be knocked off the stage when you or your opponent attack. To KO, you have to send the other player or computer flying off the edge of the stage into the open space which is the KO zone/ area. Characters have different weight classes which can make it harder to KO heavier opponents off the edge. But inversely, it makes it harder for them to recover after being sent flying since they are heavier. So those are the basic things you need to know about the game if you don't know them already.
Graphics: 9
I am just going to say that this game has some pretty good graphics, and probably the some of the best on the N64. Every character in the game looks realistic and it represents the characters well. I would even say that each character model surpasses their models in prior games, like link for example, he looks a lot better than he did in Ocarina of time, and the same goes for mario in super mario 64 as well as the rest of the characters in this amazing game. There is clearly an exceptional amount of detail put into each character, and they are all very well animated. Aside from the characters, the stages themselves also look good as well and they really correspond with their original franchise, like the super mario bros stage for instance. Overall, the stage designs are all very well put together and show an exceptional amount of detail and effort put into the game. Along with the design, the items in the game also look really good too. The only real nitpick or complaint I would have about the graphics in the game are the ones used in the mini game stages, because to be honest some of them look kind of bland or have a dull background, but in the end, it's really just a small nitpick when you compare it to how awesome the game's graphics are, so this shouldn't be a reason to not play the game, because you would miss out on how amazing the graphics and the game overall would be. Even though this was their first attempt at making a game like this, I still think the graphics are pretty good nevertheless, the graphics in this game are incredible and perhaps the best on the N64, so for that, I scored it a 9.
Sound: 10
The sound of this game is just phenomenal, it is absolutely amazing. The graphics and gameplay alone make for an awesome game, but throw in great sound and music, and you have yourself an excellent game. Every stage in the game has a full song that corresponds to the title they are representing. In addition to that, the sounds each character makes when they attack is spot on and accurate. I will also point out that they do a great job of making each of the items in the game have their own sound, I thought that was worth mentioning since the game has a few dozen items included such as the pokemon cries or that massive donkey Kong hammer that deals massive amounts of unforgiving damage. I would say that the sound is perhaps one of the game's best features, even though the console is limited to having 1 song per stage, I think that they really made the right choice for ?each one, because they all really add and contribute to the greatness of the game, so because of that I scored the sound and music used in this game a 10 because it really deserves it, it's just that perfect...
Addictiveness: 9
I find this game to be very addicting and I enjoy playing it in classic mode and just going through each stage and beating each character respectively. Even after you beat classic mode, you can still go back to unlock extra characters as well as more lives, continues and the ability to choose the difficulty level. However, I think that this is a game best played with more than 1 player, it is just more fun to play with friends or family and perhaps the best way to spend your time playing this game. The battle mode in this game sort of resembles some sort of a storyline, in this mode you are basically paired to fight against another character on a stage, as you go on, it will progressively get more difficult, the characters you battle will become harder to fight, or you might also be faced with battling multiple characters on each stage rather than just 1. The difficulty level is adjustable though, so if you find it difficult, you can change it anywhere from very easy, easy, normal, hard and really hard, so choose accordingly depending on how good you are with the battle mode in this game.
There is also target practice mode which is a nice little bonus and I think it is fun, although you may not agree. You basically just break targets on a stage which varies on the character you are using. It is fairly easy and fun with all the little challenges they try to add in to make it more exciting. There aren't any levels of difficulty for this mode, rather there are just different sets of targets you can practice on. And then there is the platform mode which isn't that bad, but it is rated low by a lot of people for some reason, it is just navigating through puzzles to get onto a platform and then proceeding to the next one, there isn't that much to it really. But I don't think it is nearly as bad or as boring as some people make it out to be. It all depends on what you like though, so the choice is up to you. Overall this game is really addictive and fun to play because of all the various modes it includes and also because of the extra motivation you get to unlock more characters and extra stuff, therefore I scored it a 9 in addictiveness.
Story: N/A
There isn't really that much of a story or plot to this game, but it leaves it open for you to interpret and reflect your own thoughts on the plot. I guess it is really up to you to decide what to make of the story. The intro suggests that this game world is just a bunch of toys that are pulled out of a chest by master hand. Everything is peaceful and normal one day, and out of nowhere Master hand comes out and starts wreaking havoc, and it is up to you stop him, even though he tries to stop you by making the other Nintendo characters turn against you and prevent you from succeeding. Like I said, there isn't really much to it story wise, but you can make of it what you will. In the end, I don't think that the story is all that important because most of the time you just spend battling and beating up other characters like your classic beat em' up type of game. So I really don't think that the story plays that massive a role in this game in importance. Nevertheless, just because I left it blank doesn't mean you shouldn't play the game, it is really your choice to make what you will out of the plot of the game, so I am leaving that up to you which is why I left it blank because how good the story is depends on what YOU think of it, which may vary for each person.
Depth: 7
This game truly has a lot to offer you with its various modes in which you can play on your own, against a computer, or with some friends which is the best way to make the most out of this game in my opinion. This game has 11 regular fighting stages for you to play on, and then there are 3 more that you can unlock by either breaking the targets or boarding the platform. The game offers 3 modes in which you can play which I mentioned above, but I think that battle mode has the greatest amount of depth to it since you battle each of the characters in a straight line, sometimes battling more than one at a time on each stage. And like I mentioned, you can choose how hard you want it to be depending on your style of gaming.
As for the other modes like practice mode and target practice offer a fair amount of stuff to do and they are pretty enjoyable to play. You can unlock extra things in the game by doing missions ad such, but I am not going to reveal exactly how and where to get them. That is for you to discover on your own. Altogether though, this game does offer a decent amount of stuff for you to do as well as motivation to continue playing to unlock the extra stuff as well. There area few modes you can enjoy however you would like. This game shouldn't take you forever to unlock the extra stuff, but it should extend for a fair amount of time if you play it legitimately without cheating....so for that reason I scored the depth of this game a 7.
Difficulty: 5
I am not really sure how to score this game difficulty wise because that is up to you to decide how difficult it is. For some people it may be a walk through the park and for others it might be pretty challenging. It all depends on the type of gamer that you are and how you approach this game. I didn't find it that difficult considering that you can just the difficulty accordingly to your style. Therefore the difficulty is variable. The battle mode comes in a few levels of difficulty in which you ca choose from: very easy which is probably the way to go if you have never played this game before and you have had no prior experience. This is a walk through the park in difficulty and the characters are super easy to beat. Next is easy difficulty which isn't that much harder than before, the only difference is the computers are just a little bit stronger, but they are still fairly easy to beat. Next up is normal which is neutral and this is where you really start to notice a difference in the gameplay, the computers are more challenging and the items start to turn on you, but don't worry though, this isn't as hard as it gets and this is really where you start to notice little changes in difficulty. Next up is hard which is the mode I play on most, the characters are a lot more strategic and they are much harder to beat and the items aren't really going to work in your favor, so this is more of a challenge. And last but not least is the very hard mode which is for more experienced players, I have played here before and it really does make a difference because I end up losing more lives than I would normally have on hard difficulty. This mode is certainly the place to come if you are looking for a serious challenge. So, to conclude, the difficulty really depends on your style when it comes to this game, if you are new then it is probably higher, and if you are more experienced, then it isn't that much of a challenge, so that is why i scored it a neutral score of 5 because it is dependent on your experience with this game. Even if you are new, all you need is a little practice and you will get the hang of it and it will come off easier to you eventually.
Overall: 9.6
Overall this game is a lot of fun and I enjoy playing all of its different modes and challenges it throws at me. This game is a classic and a stepping stone to one of the greatest video game series ever, from this to melee to brawl, it only keeps getting better and more exciting each time. I am anxious for the new one to come out this year...I highly recommend this game if you have ever played a brawl/ fighting game before, because this is worth it, it will guarantee you hours of great fun and I think the best way to spend this game is playing it with friends. I know it sounds cheesy, but really, you can only experience this game's awesomeness by playing with a buddy. To wrap things up, this game is amazing and it is a great collection to your N64, I always have a great time playing this game and all it has to offer, so I hope you can have just as much fun playing it yourself!
Thanks for reading my review, feel free to comment or provide feedback so that I can continue to become a better reviewer. Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed it!

Nintendo's Fighting Success!   sonicthehedgeho..
3.......2.......1......SMASH!  Nintendo the family-friendly based game company where Mario, Fox, & Donkey Kong walk together in a grassy land all happy and then...WHAT THE....Mario just trips Donkey Kong with his foot and starts attacking him rapidly, Mario tries throwing fireballs at Fox however Fox uses his deflector shield and Mario is set on fire. Yes it's a Nintendo game where you beat up other Nintendo characters it was a surprise when it first game out as Nintendo was more of a family-based gaming company and not many Nintendo games were beat em ups. But one question still remained was this game any good as a fighting game Yes or No let's find out by starting this review.
Graphics: 7 out of 10
The graphics in this game aren't very eye catching like other games on the system such as Perfect Dark or Super Mario 64 however since this was Nintendo's first time making a Nintendo characters fighting game so I wouldn't rate this very low or very high either. If you were to look at it's sequels Melee and Brawl then you would see that the graphics are very improved over the N64 version. So 7 out of 10 is the rating I would give graphics since it was their first try at making this type of game.
Sound: 10 out of 10
Now the sound/music in this game definitely makes up for the graphics not being the best on the console, the music in this game is great from the Sector Z level to the Metal Mario level or even Kirby's level. It gives you that feel where you want to keep going no matter how low your chances may seem and you'll keep on fighting until the end of the game. Not only is the music great but the sounds that the characters make are very on par with a good rating especially with Captain Falcon's impossible to forget saying "Show me your moves" which has been used so much in videos online. So a very good and detailed job on the sound in this game 10 out of 10 is deserved here.
Addictiveness: 10 out of 10
The addictiveness level in this game is High as when you're playing alone it's mostly about playing through the classic mode in this game where you go through stages fighting and defeating all the characters in that level to move on to the next stage and progress to the final stage. Even after you're finish the Classic mode you still have some things to do as there are 4 hidden characters in the game that you can unlock and each of them require a certain requirement. Ness= Normal difficulty with 3 lives & no continuing, Luigi= Complete Bonus 1 with all 8 original characters, Jigglypuff= Any difficulty, any amount of lives, any amount of continues,  Captain Falcon= Complete 1P mode in under 20 minutes, any difficulty, any amount of lives, any amount of continues (although not a wise choice since you only have 20 min). Now where the real addictiveness value comes in is the multiplayer mode as fighting against CPU's or with your friends is one of the best ways to spend time playing this game whether your fighting a computer, a 1 on 3 fight,  or even a 2 on 2 fight. You will have lots of enjoyment playing this game with your friends it's a great game to pop into your N64 and play if you want to chill with your friends so 10 out of 10 is the score I'm giving addictiveness for this game.
Difficulty: 5 out of 10
This is gonna be a strange one to rate and review as the difficulty in this game really all depends on you or your friends as you can set the difficulty in the game and the difficulty between you and your friends just depends on which one of you is best at playing the game and that's not something that can be programmed to change.....unless you take their controller away. But even in the 1P mode you still can set the difficulty of the game from Very Easy to Very Hard so you have control over how hard you want the game to be so there really isn't any set difficulty in the game itself so since you program the difficulty and it depends on how well you play the game I'm gonna rate this 5 out of 10.
Depth: 7 out of 10
This game has many things to offer between it's great multiplayer action and it's 1P adventure which has 11 Regular fighting stages and 3 Bonus stages each having a different theme. 1st being - Break The Targets!  where you have a time limit and must destroy all the targets before the timer runs out or before you fall down a pit and fail the game, 2nd is - Board The Platforms! Where it basically follow the same rules as the Break The Targets stage except instead of targets you have to land on all the platforms in the stage hence the name Board The Platforms, The final bonus stage is called - Race to the finish! and as the name implies you have to hurry and race to the exit before the time runs out while you have enemies trying to attack you and stop you from proceeding. Also as I mentioned in the addictiveness rating section there are 4 hidden characters in the game that you can unlock but there is still another secret in this game and that is a stage that you can unlock called "Mushroom Kingdom" where in able to unlock it you must be the 1P mode with all 8 original characters and then play all the multiplayer stages at least once to unlock this level. There are also 2 final hidden things inside the game but they aren't really important to the game which are and Item Switch menu and a Sound Test menu, the item switch is unlockable by playing 100 vs matches and to unlock the Sound Test you have to complete both Bonus Stages 1 & 2 with all 12 characters. So there is alot to do and unlock in the game but there could have been more so a 7 out of 10 is what I'm rating Depth.
Story: BLANK
There isn't really a story to this game that I know of but you can probably get a good idea of what the story is when you play the game. If I would explain a story to my knowledge it would be like this: You're Nintendo Characters and everything was peaceful one day until an evil villain named Master Hand came into the world to wreak havoc and control everything so you set of as Mario or Link or someone else to stop Master Hand however he has a few tricks up his sleeve and decides to send the other Nintendo characters to stop you from proceeding in your attempt to stop his reign. However since there is no story so I can't give it a rating so I have to leave this one blank.
So that is Super Smash Bros on Nintendo 64 a really great game for it's time and still a great game today. If you have an N64 and you can find this game cheap go ahead and pick this one up cause you won't be disappointed so what are you waiting for there is a match starting right now get in there and prepare to fight for your life 3.....2.....1.....TIME!....To end this review.

Super Smash Bros Review   starwars293
Hello people it's starwars293 here. My friend helped me with this review. This time I am reviewing Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64. This game is great. You get 3-d graphics, you have Nintendo characters that you have never played before if you haven't played their games like Star Fox,Mario and Earthbound/Mother. Super Smash Bros is a really good game. You can play up to four players in Super Smash Bros, but if you play single player mode on vs mode, you can have a CPU has your opponent. There are 9 different levels of CPU's.1 in the lowest and 9 is the highest level.
In Super Smash Bros, there is a mode called Classic Mode or also called as 1 player mode. What you do is you pick your character, pick how many lives you want in which difficulty you want. The limit of lives are 5. If you play Classic Mode for the first time, start with 5 lives and go with the very easy difficulty. You get to fight 9 characters and Master Hand as the boss at the end of Classic Mode. There are 2 Bonus Modes. I have never done both Bonus Mode 1 or Bonus Mode 2,so if you guys know what you do on both Bonus Modes, tell me and maybe send me a video of both Bonus Modes.
There are options for Vs.mode that if you want time mode, stock mode, just time mode or just stock mode. On vs mode, you get to pick your own character and pick the CPU a character. I'm gonna tell you the characters at the end of the review. If you're gonna play Super Smash Bros on Vizzed, well the game will freeze and crash plugin. If you have a Nintendo 64 and the Super Smash Bros game cartage, then the game won't freeze. On Vizzed the game mostly freezes at the start menu when you are selecting what you're gonna do. But other than that,Super Smash Bros is a really good game. Now on to the review.
Graphics-I have to say that these graphics are great.Nintendo took sprites from their Nintendo 64 games and edit it. Like how they took Mario's Super Mario 64 sprite and edit it.
Gameplay-The gameplay is pretty good. In fact this game started the Nintendo Wars like Mario Vs. Link. They even have team battles in this game.
Story-There is actually no story. But one Classic Mode, you just have to fight up to Master Hand.
Difficulty-This game, well the difficulty would depend on how hard or easy you're playing the game. Like for an example, when you're doing Vs. Mode and you set the CPU level to level 9,that makes the CPU hard. Also for another example, when you're playing Classic Mode and you set the difficulty to very hard, that makes the characters very hard to beat.
Depth-Well all it offers is unlockable characters, that's it.
Sound-The sound and music in the game are pretty good. Like when you're selecting your character on both Classic Mode and Vs. Mode, you here epic music.
Addictiveness-I would want to plat this game over and over again. After all it's a good game.
Characters=Now I finally get to this part, the characters. There are two type of characters. One is called starter characters and the other is called unlockable characters.
Starter Characters-Donkey Kong,Mario,Link,Samus,Pikachu,Fox and Yoshi
Unlockable Characters-Captain Falcon-Jigglypuff,Ness and Luigi
Overall-Super Smash Bros is a really good game on the Nintendo 64,and I would say it has a good classic mode
Wrap things up-Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64 is a really good game. I would play this ,but it would freeze on Vizzed but whatever. I would still play it. I would love playing this game and so would you! :)
Thanks

Nintendo's Bash fest, Super Smash Brothers, Review!   Mother3fan5
Super Smash Brothers. Many people love to play this game, Nintendo fan or not, according to my eyes. This is a game where a bunch of Nintendo characters come together and start bashing each other to death in a competition of bashing each other with what moves you have. I'd say this is a pretty good game overall, since it CONTAINS NESS has decent graphics and a good fighting system. ( Getting on a stage and bashing each other)
Anyways, since I've been blabbing about this game's greatness and whatnot for the past few words, let's get on with the review.
GRAPHICS: 9.3
I'd say this game has decent graphics, but I feel an urge that it could be better in some way.
I'd say the characters look decent; good for the N64. Though something bothers me about them graphic wise......
The stages look pretty nice, and are some very good ground for the current time.  The backgrounds look nice aswell, especially on Master Hand's stage,
Final Destination. Gives off the "Final" feel. Also, speaking of Master Hand, I'd say he looks pretty good aswell.
But Ness looks best of all because of his epic cuteness and no character can beat him he's so amazing.
SOUND: 7
I never really liked the sound of this game, and I never really did, since They had no Mother tracks. the music where bland remixes of previous tracks from games. Though they DID provide some entertainment when you get in a really serious battle, I rarely listen to the music in a serious battle. anyway. So, I'd give the music a meh.
But it is fun to listen to SOME. Like Planet Z or whatever it was called, Kirby's little theme, and Super Mario Brothers theme when you're out of battle, if you can find their track in the sound test and whatnot. Good luck with that.
ADDICTIVENESS: 9.1
I wouldn't really say the game is that addicting, but back when I got it for the Virtual Console, I pretty much played it nonstop, although I sucked at it horribly. Meaning I couldn't unlock anyone except Jigglypuff, And it was difficult to get past Normal, so it was pretty much supernatural when I was able to finally able to unlock Ness.  It took me FOREVER to unlock everyone and get the Mushroom Kingdom stage, but after a few months of Nonstop gameplay, I somehow pulled it off. Oh yea, I also unlocked the sound player, but I probably lost the data since it's been so long. :P So yea, that's why the addictiveness factor gets so high.
STORY: 7
Although it seems like there isn't that much of a story, there actually is.
Some horrible kid has a bodiless hand control his toys to have them brutally fight and destroy each other. But in the 1 player mode, you take control of one of the toys who seems to be rebelling against this act.
I wouldn't say this is the most interesting story, plus this pretty much takes a gaming nerd to find out.  So yea.
DEPTH: 6.7
This game is pretty much about dolls killing one another, and it's story isn't too interesting. Most people think this doesn't HAVE a story, so I thought I'd point it out. Although, it does have a lot of action to offer, but if you're a pro gamer, this won't be very challenging. Meaning the stuff it has too unlock will be easy to get. I'd say the stages look pretty good, the characters looks pretty good, Ness looks best of all and there's nothing you can do about it, and the backgrounds look decent. What else can an N64 game offer?
Difficulty: 6.9
If I where younger I would've rated this a 99999.0 because I was that terrible at it, but now I'm pretty good at it, though I can't do it on emulation. This game isn't terribly too hard for professionals, though gaming newbies will suck their thumbs after playing this.
Overall, I'd have to say that this is a very good fighting game, and you all should try it. Also, it provides a feel of memories, so it's honestly a good game to play. For you gaming newbies, this could be a challenge for ya. :P For pros who could beat this game quickly, just enjoy the feel of memories~

Super smash brothers review   ender44
So, you are playing a game. And another character in that game makes you very angry. Normally, you either get mad or turn the game off. But super smash brothers gives you another option. This other option is to beat the living heck out of them. Super smash brothers starting as a console game that roughly translates to "Dragon king the fighting game". But, one of the developers thought that they should re-work the game using various Nintendo characters to create a home console game environment. This idea was approved and we have what we know and love, this game. Super smash brothers for N64 has spawned two sequels called melee and brawl, with a 3rd sequel on its way. This game takes place on a stage with a set ceiling, walls, and bottom. The object of the game is to push-through the use of violence- the other characters off the stage, taking away one of their lives. There are 12 characters and 10 stages to choose from, all of which are from various Nintendo games. Let's get to the review.
Graphics: This game looks pretty good. The backgrounds are pretty bland and some of the stages don't try to hide their cardboard-ness. The characters have some weird edges but everything animates pretty well and it is pleasing to the eye.
Sound: The music is nothing too special. It takes inspiration from many Nintendo games, though the music isn't something to look up on youtube. It isn't something you really notice in the game.
Addictiveness: yeah. I have accumulated an insane amount of time playing this game. I got it when it first came out and I have been playing it since. This game is incredibly addicting and you will never play it just once.
Story: well, there isn't one. The entire premise of this game is Nintendo characters attacking each other violently for our entertainment.
Depth: There are over 25 items to use, all of which have unique powers like healing, shooting, or blowing up. There are 12 characters to choose from Link, Mario, Luigi, pikachu, jigglypuff, kirby, captain falcon, fox, DK, ness, yoshi, and samus. There are also 10 stages to choose from, all from various Nintendo games.
Difficulty: It depends on who you are playing. Some characters aren't as good as the others, and that can make some very hard to play with. Nothing that cant be ironed out with some training though.
So, overall you should play it. It is a very memorable game and I think you would have some fun with it.

The brawl that started it all!   Jinx98
Super! SMAAAAAAAASH BROOOOOOOTHERRRRRRS!
It's the beat-em-up smackdown brawl that started it all! All the super Nintendo mega stars have come together, in one big slug fest to prove whom among them is the best! Select your favorite character and get ready for reckon, and by the way, make sure you don't forget to bring the weapons. We have Pokeballs, bats, beam swords right out of starwars! You really will get far, because I'll send you flying when I power up with a star! You can solo fight or take it to the next level, enter three other characters for a four way battle and show the world that you are rebel! I've teamed up with the Mario Bro's and entered Mushroom world, I've just shot Samus with a ray gun and wait! He was a girl?! The possibility's are limitless, as the clock counts down and Nintendo characters become relentless! Are you ready?..Theres no time to wait!..3! 2! 1! GO!
Hello and welcome reader and readers. This is my long review for Super Smash Bro's for the Nintendo N64. If there was no other games I was ever good at, it was this game. The original Super Smash Bro's for the Nintendo N64 was one of the most deserving games to ever hold the title beat-em up and changed the way we look at them. I had played this game so much, I was just about 99% unbeatable with Mario, The other 1% is where people stand in one spot, block and throw the entire game. I still to this day own this game and I still use to play this game long after Game Cube introduced Super Smash Bro's Melee and the Nintendo Wii introduced Super Smash Bro's Brawl. I mean I don't throw away the classic's and you shouldn't either. You never know when you might get the urge to return later.
Difficulty- 5 out of 10
I gave the difficulty a 5 out of 10, as this game as multiple aspects of hardness and if you put in the right settings, you can push it though the roof. In story mode, you have levels ranging from very easy,, normal, hard and very hard. In the free for all mode, you can adjust the computer from levels one to nine, with one being the easiest and nine being the hardest. Despite the fact however, that even if you did put the game on very hard and set it to level nine, if you played this game long enough, you could whoop max hardness for sport with very little of a challenge. I mean if you truly thought you are the best at this game and you actually wanted more of a challenge, turn team battle on and face 2 to 3 NPC's on level 9 and test your might!
It also depends sometimes on which characters used, because certain characters like Jigglypuff were super fragile, Mario is more standard and Captain Falcon is more useful in situations where you need to move fast. Truth be told, some people regardless can still put this game to shame even with a Jigglypuff fighting the computer set on very hard. I was real good at this game. So much it drove my friends nuts whenever I brought this game over with me, but I couldn't handle Jigglypuff. I played as her in story mode on very hard once and it turned into the worst experience of my life. It's really not  fun, trying to beat an entire team of 30 polygon characters when you have the sensitivity of a balloon where you can almost get a ring out from one pluck of somebody's finger. No Master Hand jokes intended!  Than again my primary characters were always Mario, Captain Falcon and sometimes Yoshi.
Addictiveness-10 out of 10
By addictive, do you mean, fast paced action where you can fight with up to four different characters, where you throw, stomp, headbutt and blow each other up in order to try and get everyone else out of the ring? Than yes! This game really addictive. At least back than anyway. I mean whom didn't love this game back during the N64 era? This one was of the best games on Nintendo you could get during that time. That went double for if you loved, free for all fights to the death. This was one of those games where you absolutely had to play it with friends. If you wasn't you wasn't fully experiencing the full hook of the game.
Than again maybe four way's wasn't your thing. This game still had plenty of action else where within the game. Maybe you liked to race for time where you had to kill and not be killed as less as possible as you felt the rush from the clock counted down to victory. My most favorite thing I loved doing in this game, was seeing how much further I could push my self in this game, but grabbing my favorite character and beating down level 9's sometimes during free for all's or for bragging rights when I placed them on teams. It's safe to say back in the day, between me and my friends, this game was right up there with other games we over played for hours like Grand Theft Auto three and Dragonball Z Budoki, because of it's great competitiveness. Thats why I gave this a 10 out of 10 in terms of addictiveness.
Story
This game never had a story and wouldn't have one until Super Smash Bro's Brawl for the Nintendo wii, so there is not a lot to cover in terms of the games story and I can't give this a score, however you can assume, the story is based around Master Hand whom has brought you to life and is the main bad guy of the game, that has some how caused some form of trouble in the Nintendo universe and it's up to you to stop him proving you are the champion of Super Smash Bro's. However, in the end, you turn back into a lifeless doll after he has been defeated. It's a shame this game didn't have a story to go on, as it might could have made this game a whole lot more epic back than as it is remembered to us now, but course in Beat-em-Up's or Beat down games, we don't really care too much about the story. We just want to beat someone down!
Depth-10 out of 10
I gave this game a perfect 10 out of 10. As I might have pointed out in addictiveness and possibly in the introduction, this game has plenty to offer to keep you coming back for a long while.  If you love Beat-em-up's like I do, this game would have went way beyond your expectations back in the 90's. While they're is only 9 characters during this time, they all bring there own fighting style to the game, loosely based on they're fighting styles from their own games, which keeps things plenty interesting when you mix the element of different types of weapons from each of the 9 characters own video games and changing battle grounds that could either make or break your game. Battle grounds also based off area's from the 9 characters own video games. You also get to choose what types of battles you wanted in the free mode. Seeing as you had the choice of fighting with three other computers, regardless of other players. You could solo or fight two to three other characters during the match into one big knock down. You could join up with one person or two people in team battle or prove you are one of the most elite players around and fight them all at once from levels one to nine.
Story mode isn't lacking either and it features different types of characters that can only been seen within Story mode. Characters such as Giant Donkey Kong, Metal Mario and of course Master Hand himself whom you must get down to zero in order to beat. It also mixed in obstacle courses called "Break the Target" and "touch the platform" for the 9 characters you can play as and they are all different in terms of set up and difficulty based on which character you choose. For example Mario's two stages are a lot easier unlike Star Fox's which can be a little harder because of timing with his rocket boots. These do not have to be played in Story mode either however, as you can pre select the stages you want to play from another menu below practice mode and compete to see if you can beat your own previous time or someone else time. The game also can give a little more leeway, after you've played the game long enough where you can unlock a item select for free mode. In that mode, you can pick and choose which items you want to show up and how often you want them to show up. If you set them to low, a item almost will never drop, but if you set the free mode to very high, items will pop up a lot more often.
Graphics-10 out of 10

This was some of the best looking video games of it's generation back during the N64 era as this is what the usual look for the N64 looked like back then. Star Fox N64, Kirby 64 and Mario N64 all looked exactly like this game during this time, so this is what greatness looked like. Character animations didn't land and were on point as well, such as when Mario performed his twist move or the suction swirls that appeared around Kirby's mouth when he was attempting to suck up his enemies. Now of course a lot of people that are now spoiled by new machines such as the Play Station 4 and X-Box 360 will say this looked sucked, but you don't listen to that because this was good looking graphics at the time and it's not exactly fair to compare it to a ps4 or any of the new Smash Bro's games that later came out.
Sound-8 out of 10
The sound of the game wasn't that bad either. I mean I can't say too much about the sound as, it's not nearly as epic as it's Brawl sound track during this time period, but it's one of the many things Nintendo did great for Smash Bro's was make a great intro track that go you pumped for battle. It was almost like hearing the drums of war just before the troops went charging into battle. The game also doesn't exactly repeat the same songs over and over. Each menu and character stage has it's own unique sound. Character theme staged shared music from all the older games, such as the classic Mario theme, that can be hear in the intro of that God awful Super Mario Bro's movie or a theme reminder from Donkey Kong's Donkey Kong Country when you are in the jungle level or the classic sound of Zelda on Link's castle themed stage.
Overall-9 out of 1o
I give this game a overall score of 9 out of 10. A rock solid 9 out of 10 to be exact! If you are a fan of Super Smash Bro's and you never experienced this game before, this was the beat down, slug fest, body slamming, bom-ba throwing, brawl that started it all that you need to be able to say you played at least once. It's not as good as it's newer games, doesn't have the features that they have and not nearly as many characters as say Brawl does, but back in the game this game was just as good as it was and what was the game that made you a fan of Super Smash Bro's in the first place. There is not a single dull moment in this game.

Super Smash Bros.   FalcoDude
This is a great game. It's unique and if I could, I'd give it a eleventh
star. It's a fighting game that features characters from different
Nintendo games from past to present. They include....Link (from the
Zelda Series), Kirby (from Kirby's Dreamland), Samus (from Meteoroid and
Super Meteoroid), Mario (from all the Mario games), Yoshi (from Yoshi's
Story), Fox McCloud (from Star-fox and Star-fox 64), Donkey Kong, (from
the Donkey Kong Country series), Pikachu, (from the Pokemon games), and
four other "secret" characters that can be "unlocked" from the game
by completing certain Single player tasks. One of the best things
about this game is that each characters' fighting moves and techniques
is somewhat based on Items or abilities that the characters had in
previous games. For example, Link has his hook-shot, boomerang, bombs,
and of course, his sword; and Samus has her charge shot.

In the

One-player mode in this game, You can choose your character, computer
skill level, and your life stock to make the series of fights as
challenging as you want. I'll be honest with you.....don't buy this
game for just its one player mode. It's best feature is its
multi-player mode.

This is probably one of (if not) the best

multi-player games for the N64! Multi-player mode puts together
strategy, skill, and common sense all at once. It's multi-player mode
NEVER seems to get old, as I have enjoyed it for well over a year now,
and I'm still trying to master each character! In this aspect, it's
different from other fighting games for the 64.

It's almost as good as Star-Fox 64(my favorite N64 game) It

dose not fell like a "kiddy" or 'Childish" game. It feels different then
the other Super Smash Bros. games its pretty much the same with every
game company they make the 1st one the best and all the others worse.

Cons: 1P mode can get a bit boring They left out key characters like

Bowser from Mario and Wario. But still, they have a pretty good
selection of characters.

It didn't take Nintendo long before they figured out that if they took

all their cool characters(forgot Bowser and Mairo) and crammed them into a fighter with great
graphics and sound that the end result would be an awesome game. The
whole gang is here, including the Mario Bros., Pikachu, Link, DK,
Kirby, Fox, and Yoshi. Up to four players can pit themselves against
each other in eight different fighting arenas. The one player mode is
equally entertaining, and the secrets to be unlocked will keep you
playing for hours.

GRAPHICS: Smash Bros. sports a great look with

bright colors, eye popping effects, and detailed characters and
backgrounds. Occasionally during the multiplayer, however, there is
some slowdown.

CONTROL: The controls are extremely simple and

easy to master. But a lot of the moves strongly rely on the analog
joystick for execution, which can be frustrating in the heat of battle.

SOUND:

Smash Bros.'s sounds will be music to your ears. The theme music
which accompanies each stage flows nicely with the various character
voices. The only cons are the annoying cries of Pikachu, which may
appeal to Pokemon fanatics.

Super Smash Bros Review.   Natas
Super Smash Bros Melee is a tile that brings different varieties of characters from their respective titles in an all out royal rumble to determined who's the best. There are characters that visit us such as the high jumping Mario. The hero of time Link, The pink puffball Kirby, and the cute pokemon Pickachu. There are more characters as well, but you have to go through the story mode to unlock them.
This title is a test to see who can defeat the Master Hand in battle and earn the character's trophy in the end. There's not much in this game that is extraordinarily, but the thrill of bashing each other with you favorite character. The main way to beat your opponent is to send them flying off stage and out of view to earn your points or to progress the story mode. I believe this title is more of an arcade style game.
Graphics-8
The graphics are great for a N64 title. The well designed 3D models on a 2D style arena is awesome. Though the arena is not all that large, but the scenery is quite stunning for a N64 game. The details in the gravel and walls are remarkable as you send your oppenent into the wall from a grapple throw and watch the dust sweeps out from underneath the slammed foe. One of the best on this title.
Sound-6
The sound is great for battle. Catchy tunes to listen to while you're hammering away on your foe can give that extra excitement in battle, but it's nothing to great about it. The music is mainly fast pace action typed themes. In some areas, the music is soft and slow such as Hyrule temple. Other than that. There are some great tunes in this title.
Addictiveness-7
It has it's unique style of game play. 3D models on a 2D stage in an all out battle royal. This title has it's moments of random hits on your enemy or a lucky hit to send them flying off stage in one hit. It offers it's fun of fighting your favorite characters from their respective title giving you hours of gaming fun, but eventually gets boring after the same old routine in the end. This game is fun, but the fun is not going to last forever.
Story-2
Really nothing can be said about a story since there is no story. You main goal in this is to go to different stages and beat the time limit to get to the end with some occasions where an enemy will come out to face you. There are some mini games to play during the story mode where you have to be quick to snatch a falling trophy. Once you get to the end. You will be confronted by the Master Hand. Defeat him to gain your character's trophy.
Depth-5
The same applies with this one as well. There's not much you can attain during the course of the story mode, but the difference is. During the story mode. You have a chance to unlock new characters as you progress further into the story mode. More notable. To unlock Luigi. You must finish the first stage with 2 seconds in the time. It can be 3:12, or 5:32. As long the two is there.
Difficulty-5
The difficulty of this game is not too challenging. You have the option to set the difficulty level to your likings to suit more to your game play, but if you are looking for a challenge. Set it to the highest you can go and have fun. It can give you a decent challenge, but nothing extremely hard.

Super Smash Bros. Game Review   Lights
Graphics: Super Smash Bros. Graphics is creative and the graphics sketched out in the game is fantastic! The reason why I say this, because the moves used for each character is also creative and well planned out. Like how Mario throws a fireball at the enemy shows a unique graphic of an actual fire ball targeting an enemy. A Yoshi grabbing a character from his tongue and swallowing the character making an egg out of it. Or a Kirby also sucking a character, but instead turning into the character himself. These graphics are outstanding in the game and shows unique cosmic displays in the game. (Give the Game Designers around of applause)
Sound: I give the sound in Super Smash Bros. a 10 out of 10. The sounds in the game is marvelous, because every gestures or movements the character you pick react in the game-play will have his or her own sound. Like If I picked Yoshi in Super Smash Bros. Yoshi will have his own sound and own fighting movement sound. The sound each character in the game makes is well done and coordinated to every movement each characters make (including attacks).
Addictiveness: I give the addictiveness of this game a 9/10. This game is really addicting. Every time you play you would get caught up on unlocking characters and playing the story mode. It is also very addicting when you play with friends or peers, but since this is an online game ROM game you can only play it by yourself :/
Story: The story in this game is really creative. There are Twelve playable characters that you can play in the game. Some characters you can unlock by playing certain characters in the story mode. The storyboard shows many battle-styles and unique battle scenes. These scenes are versing multiple Yoshi's and battling a Big Donkey Kong in the story board.
Depth: This game offers a lot. Each characters in this game are your loving characters that you have played in other games. Like Pikachu/Jigglypuff in Pokemon or Mario/Luigi from Super Mario, and many more playable Nintendo mascots. Each Nintendo characters in different varieties of Nintendo games come together into a battle royal and verse each other which gives the depth of this game a 10/10.
Difficulty: This game doesn't seem that much difficult depending the level you set the computer. Between all of that the difficulty is hard when putting the level of the computer hard and easy depending if you put the level easy. When playing the story mode each time you defeat a character weather its multiple Yoshi's or a Big donkey Kong each time you verse someone and defeat its only gonna get harder and harder until you verse the Master Hand (boss).

Super Smash Bros. Review   David25866
Nostalgia...so...overwhelming...*sniff* give me a moment. BEEEEP WE ARE EXPERIENCING SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WE WILL BE BACK WITH YOU IN A MOMENT!
Sorry about that lets head straight into the review!
Okay to start this off the graphics for N64 standards were great you could see everything clearly they were a little blocky but who cares when it is a smash bros. Game the graphics of the characters and the stages are very hard to flaw my only real criticism is that they were really blocky but other than that they were very good all I can really say about the graphics is what I have said in this paragraph!
The music in this game is IMPOSSIBLE to flaw the music always brings back so much nostalgia which I love about a game the music was great especially at saffron city I love that music for me that music brought back the most nostalgia for me because I basically grew up on watching Pokémon! The music was great in this game and that is how I judge a game if the music is too metal or too dull it is out the door if it is music like this then it is one of the best!
This game is very addicting I could play this game hours on end with my friends if they didn't get bored every 5 matches I love playing this game I really enjoy fighting games because I like to be competitive with my friends and family even though I nearly always get beat...and I cry...ANYWAY off of that I get really addicted to thus game it is fun and competitive!
The Story mode for this one was the worst I mean it is only the classic mode on brawl and it was really boring just fighting all the computers that weren't really a challenge the game is much better just being a fighting game that you can play with your friends so I don't really play the story mode for this game :(.
Like the story there was not any depth the game doesn't take long to get all the characters the story is really short and tedious and the only good thing is fighting with your friends which is what I usually use this game for!
This game was not too difficult but if you are playing it on an emulator and are not using a controller it can get quite hard I need to play it with a keyboard so for me when I put the difficulty even to just normal it is quite hard because it is hard to use the controls I am probably just gonna get it off of the wii shop channel so I could enjoy it more!
Now that we have gone through all of the categories lets just go into some of the other things I liked and disliked about the game!
I love all of the battle stages ion the game my favorite is Saffron City because of the music and how the Pokémon come out of that little door and attack you I thought that was very creative of the creators think about that sentence yourself.
the characters they put into it for the very start were all good choices because if Peach or Zelda were already in it, it wouldn't make much sense my favorite character for this one was jigglypuff she was a fun character to use and I am very skilled with her in all of the brawl games!
Besides the story I really have nothing I dislike about this game it was fun I loved the characters and stages and it is hard to stop playing!
Out of the three I would probably recommend this one last but I would still get round to recommending it because anyone who plays this game will start to like Nintendo a little bit more it made me love it completely this game made me the Nintendo fan boy I am today!
I hope you liked this review tell me what you thought of the game I would love to hear all of your opinions so don't hesitate to say something!

Super Smash Bros Review-N64   hackerman
Today I will be reviewing the N64 game Super Smash Bros. The game is a platform type fighting game consisting of a variety of stages and characters.
Graphics: The graphics in this game are somewhat impressive. It has nice very nice special effects and fight graphics. The fighting in the game was impressive graphics wise it was a 3D character design and a 2D platforming fighting game. Even today Super Smash Bros is one of my favourite games because of it's graphics. It adds lots of details in the game. So graphics are 9/10
Sound: I really loved the music in the game. If you listen some of the music will be from other games. And some of the music really fits the stages like Kirby and Donkey Kong. I was expecting okay music like most fighting games today don't have that much great music but the sound effects and music really impressed me. The effects are very nice and the music fits great with most stages and characters so I give it an 8/10
Addictiveness: I have to say I didn't find this game too addicting. I mean it's fun but really your just fighting the whole time nothing else so really unless you are in love or are a big fan of platform fighting then you most surely will be addicted but if your not then there's not much to be hooked on. It's a great game but it's not totally addicting. 4/10
Story: There really isn't a story line just fighting to defeat the master hand really. 1/10
Depth: Well considering there weren't much characters to work in I understand why there weren't much characters to unlock. But really there weren't really any special bonuses you could complete or any secrets I know of. But I guess you can complete different levels of difficulty but there isn't anything else or much you could do so i'll give this one a 5/10
Difficulty: Now people complain that the game is usually to easy and the only hard one is metal characters but that's probably because they've only played easy or normal level difficulty if you've played hard mode then it takes a long while to try and knock opponents out of the ring. Even in normal or easy there are some characters like Samus that take a while to knock out for me but that's me. The game really isn't all that hard but there are some parts that can be tricky so i'm going to give the difficulty a 7/10

OVERALL RATING!

: Now this game was very fun to play in my opinion it had great graphics and awesome sound. Not much to do but that's forgiveable. No storyline but if you think about it lots of great games like Mario Kart had no storyline and people loved the game. So for my overall rating I give the game an 8/10. Thanks for reading :D

What item will I get? A REVIEW FOR MARIO KART 64   PixelBrick
VRROOOMMM.... WELCOME TO....well...my review of Mario Kart! In this review, you'll see why I love this game...and you must try it for yourself... EDIT:Why is the game above showing Super Smash Bros? Ignore that
Story: 7/10
The story about this wonderful game is about our favorite Mario characters grinding the road in a special Mario Kart game. The gang must race in go-karts in thrilling stages to win a trophy to take home. (Or brag about it to Peach in Mario 64) This is basically the whole story like any other Mario Kart games. These characters will get their tires moving in 16 special courses. They shall conquer them all. They will do so in this game. WELCOME TO MARIO KART.
Depth: 8/10
This game as said, very good, offers lots of special requirements. To start off here, we have power ups that will help you on your quest (or race) to get the gold. We have the banana peel. If placed, it will stay on the race track. If someone drives into it, they will slow down, and also swirl around in their go-kart. Now...the green shell. First appearance was Super Mario Bros, obviously. If used, it will go flying on the road. If it manages to hit somebody's go-kart, the same effect from the banana will come to them. The red shell is the same as the green shell, but if you're in a certain radius behind someone, enabled, it will target them and hit them. The spiked and deadly blue shell will hit whoever is in first place. It can accidentally help the player in second place, but you can catch up. The A I for the CPUs aren't that good in this game. The power star will give you invulnerability for a limited time. If you touch a player's go-kart...same effect from the banana peel. You can also go through cars in Toad's Turnpike in the Flower Cup. The triple banana/red shell/green shell gives you three of said item. The fake item box looks like a regular item box. If touched...SAME effect as said. Should you want to easily trick a CPU, place the fake item box in any patch of real item boxes...or somehow get five fake ones in a row, and block the road with them. Now on to the playable characters. Our favorite stars, Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Yoshi, DK, Bowser, Wario, and Yoshi. The 16 courses in this game are pretty unique, if I do say so myself. They are: Luigi's Raceway, Moo Moo Farm, Koopa Troopa Beach, and Kalimari Desert in the Mushroom Cup. In the burning Flower Cup, we have Toad's Turnpike, Frappe Snowland, Choco Mountain, and Mario's Raceway. In the Star Cup of truth, we have Wario Stadium, Sherbet Land, Royal Raceway, and Bowser's Castle. In the beloved Special Cup, we have DK's Jungle Parkway, Yoshi Valley, Banshee Boardwalk, and the course we all know and love...Rainbow Road.
Difficulty: 9/10
The A I for the CPUs can sometimes be challenging. The controls can be slippery, and this game is good for people that want a challenge. First place in Toad's Turnpike or in any other course in 150 Cc is only reserved for the best Mario Kart players.
Addictiveness: 8/10
This racing game full of wonders can get very addicting when you play it on the actual N64. This game is big in depth, has decent difficulty, and has a fun genre. I'd say this is one of the most addicting games ever to play in the retro universe. I highly recommend this game to be played on the original N64 to get a friend and play together.
Sound: 10/10
Don't even go there. The audio?compression from this game is remarkable. The music is good too. I like the sound effects, and they just give you the nostalgia we would've gotten if the COD developers never existed! :D. What, you thought I was kidding about that last statement??But anyways, this game has lots of themes and sound effects that feel nice listening to. This is why I rate is a perfect ten.
Graphics: 9/10
The graphics in the game are pretty good. Of course it's a N64 game, so it needs all the polygons. But overall, the graphics are pretty unique. It makes you miss when video games were happy and cartoony and not aggressive. Luckily, we have SOME games like this one. But this one right here...has outstanding graphics, I'll tell you that.
Overall: 9.1/10
This game's graphics, sound, addictive rate, and every thing about it molds this racing game into success. I wish these games still sold in stores. Luckily I have a copy of this game from when I was a kid. This game is molded into perfection by Nintendo...and obviously the help from the directer, Shigeru Miyamoto.?

Super Smash Review   Fireproof
Super Smash Bros is the first Nintendo game that brings together the many different universes of gaming found on the Nintendo 64. This fighting style platform pulls the powerhouses from Nintendo's more popular games into one unique game. I believe this game to be the beautiful birth to a beautiful series of fighting style games that lives on today as Super Smash Bros: Brawl. There's no where else you can put your favorite characters to an all out fight to see who is the most powerful fighter of the Nintendo world.
Graphics: 9
I do think that the graphics of this game took a small step backwards compared to those of Super Mario 64 and Legend of Zelda which part of this game originates from. The reason for this is due to the fact that most the levels are built by blocks and is relatively flat and 2 dimensional. Aside from this I do love that the levels seemed somewhat eye catching. First, your stages are designed with a nice set of texture and second, each stage offers a few different effects that can take place. On the Castle stage, for example, the Tornado may hurl you into the sky which could easily lead to your death. I liked that this helped make the stage feel like there's more than feeling so 2 dimensional.
I also liked the animations by the characters and the items. Some of the items like Poke balls have cool little animations and is appealing to the game play. The home run bat is probably my favorite. Whenever you get the bat ready for the 1 hit KO is just awesome and makes me laugh every time. There is a lot that is offered in terms of graphics and it really helps pull the gamer into the game. Super Smash Bros is one of those games that did a pretty decent job at this even after the little set back. I feel a 9 is a suitable ranking for graphics.
Sound: 10
The sounds for this game really stand up to the expectations from combining games. First, you have the music and character sounds that come from each of their respective games but, you also have new music that was added to the game. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of new music. I also liked the sound effects of the items. These were definitely cool when the game first came out. Playing the game too much leads to a lot of repetition though. I also liked fighting the boss at the end of the game. The music and sound effects were pretty cool and help make the boss fight feel somewhat more challenging adding to the excitement of reaching the end.
Addictiveness: 10
Super Smash Bros is a very addicting game. It's the first game of the smash series and it offers some pretty intense battles between characters. Has anyone else done a 99 lives run killing 3 Jigglypuff? Well, that was one of the many things I liked to do in my free time. I also couldn't get enough of playing the main game where I'd travel between each world and play the different characters trying to get a high score. If that isn't enough, you might even play the multiplayer mode with friends. Who plays the best Link? Who's the best Mario? Capt. Falcon anyone? Battling friends can really keep you going. The game offers plenty of things for you to do and with playing your friends adds more to the enjoyment of playing the game.
Story: 2
There isn't much of a story to this game if any at all. The only real story might come from finding the different challengers or reaching the Master Hand at the end of the main game. Aside from that, there's only a tutorial and that's it.
Depth: 7
The main component to your game is the 1 player main game where you travel from destination to destination to prove your skills as a fighter. This eventually leads up to the final boss and to a victory. The awesome thing about this is the level of difficulty ranging from very easy to very hard in which you can hone your skills and become an exceptional fighter. The second key component to this game is the multiplayer aspect that allows you to play up to 3 friends. This might be the most fun aspect of the game because you can never get enough of pounding your friends into the ground and watching them shoot across the sky like a shooting star.
Items are another key factor in playing the game. These appear at random times and help alter the gameplay depending on how good you are with them. Items can be powerful if they hit your opponent. This makes for interesting games and sometimes it might just help you come from behind. The last cool thing I enjoy about this game are the 2 challenges to board the platform and smash the target. These will test your speed at completing the courses.
Difficulty: 7
Depending on which level of difficulty you play on will alter this rating. I know that by playing the main game you are prone to falling off the stage many times especially when playing the harder difficulties. These stages will really test your ability to play the game and can be quite frustrating. Aside from that, the game will challenge your level of skill no matter what difficulty you can play as. this helps you to grow and be able to overcome the nest level of difficulty that you can play.
Overall: 10
Overall, I think that this was a great foundation for the Super Smash Bros series to begin. It offered many cool options and had a great cast of characters to play as. With this in mind, it led to the creation of greater, much more in depth games than even this one. For this game on the N64 it offered exactly everything that it needed to. I feel that this was enough to consider the game a 10 out of 10. In my younger years I couldn't get enough of this game even though I destroyed my younger brother at it quite often. When playing this game with friends it was probably the most fun for me because I felt like I had more of a challenge then. I never liked playing Very Hard Mode but I did anyway and eventually succeeded. This game is great for anyone young or old and if you ever find the time to try it, I suggest you do.

Super Smashing Review!   XiandelTV
Super Smash Bros.
This is a game that release on the Nintendo 64, a brawling/fighting game that had revolutionized a series of games that we play on newer generation consoles. In this review, I will be covering the graphics, game play pros and cons, and the difficulty of the fighting/brawling between the most beloved characters that we have all grown up with in our childhood/adulthood gaming careers. I first picked up a copy of this game back in 1999, at the time, I was 3 years old, so, it was as if I was playing the best game in the universe. But, now that I am older, and have an understanding of what makes a good game worth playing, I feel now is the time to place my ideology of video game's worth.

At the time, this game was ahead of its' time. The three dimensional properties and graphics were considered to be well above average. It shown a great deal of both A: in depth likeness of the characters, and B: properly aligned hit boxes, so when your character's attack made contact, it wouldn't deny your character the satisfaction of doing damage to your opponent. With that stated, I shall now address some cons, as well. It is true, that they didn't have the greatest graphics to use for these games, but I feel as if they could have smoothed out some of the edgy-like look of some of the characters. Which, that is why I give the graphics a 7/10, for it was excellent graphics for the time, but, they could have smoothed out some of the polygon shapes on the character's textures.
Now, let us address the pros and cons of the game play. I will start will the pros, considering it is a decently long list. The addicting factor of difficulty settings and weapon/items to add or subtract from the matches in the game provided an unpredictability to the outcome to a match. For example, you may really kick butt on the difficulty setting of level 2-4, but, raise it to 6-9 and you might have had a really tough fight and chewed more than you could swallow, so to say. Another item to bring into such category of pros, would be the interesting character development for combat. Every character in the game specifically was, at some point, in a combatant situation in their own individual story lines. With this already developed character depth, it was quite interesting at the attacks of each individual character, and, no one character had the same moves as another, with the exception of Kirby, in a way, due to the ability to absorb and mimic another character's abilities. This made another factor of interesting game play design, for, when a character you're not used to fighting jumps into the match with you, never know if you're going to beat them.
So, let us get to the cons to the game. Repetitive. The stages are limited to a variety of roughly 7-10 stages, (excluding the campaign/single player mode, which I am not addressing in the review) and there are a very limited range of characters of only twelve possible entries, if you unlock the last four.(Captain Falcon, Luigi, Ness, and Jiggly Puff.) Another con to come to light would be how easy it is to accidentally fall off of the stages. In the game, I have found myself accidentally falling from the stage by mere 1 or 2 pixels, which is slightly annoying. That will about sum up the Cons, due to how I don't view anything else, really, to be a con, at this time.
We continue to look upon the difficulty of the brawling/fighting of the game. Within the game, you, as the player, have the power to manipulate the difficulty of the fighting via both elimination and addition of items, as well as, the option to adjust the difficulty level of the characters you fight, if you're not playing against three other friends. With these two settings, it adds challenge to the game, so you're not just going around beating every character with the most graceful ease, and instead, feel intimidation and the drive to win and defeat your opponents. You can also choose to play the game with up to three other people, besides yourself, which makes the game that much more difficult, depending on the skill and luck of each individual player. I find my friends and I competing in small tournament style competitions for who is the best at the original Super Smash Bros. All the time, which, allows for a heck of a fun time between friends, and puts in the factor of difficulty of the rivals in game.
Now, let us summarize this review. The graphics of this game had excelled a great deal, yet, there were still things that could have both been improved or fixed that the game designers either didn't notice, or didn't have the ability to improve or fix at the time. Pros of this game are replay ability, item/difficulty changing ability, and enjoyable characters. Cons of this game are repetitiveness, limited stages, limited characters, and the ease of accidental death. The difficulty is varied depending on elimination of items and/or the addition of items, as well as the CPU(Computer) player's difficulty alteration(Varies from 1-9.) and the ability to play with friends, which can have endless possibilities, depending on the luck and/or skill of your fellow players. I give this game a 9.6/10 review, and would definitely recommend this game to be played both by yourself and with friends!
Thank you for taking the time to read this review, and have a lovely day.
Sincerely,
XiandelTV.

Here goes, the super smash bros!   SuperCrash64
Super Smash Brothers for the Nintendo 64 is a fondly remembered title, and is known for launching one of the greatest fighting franchises to ever come around.     For a while the game wasn't actually intended to be smash brothers and a completely different project all together, the combat was mostly the same but the Nintendo based characters were nowhere in the beta of this game. Needless to say, I think everyone had their fair share of Frustration with Nintendo's brand of characters and this was a great solution to solve it.
There has since been multiple smash brother titles available, so that raises the question how does the original still stand today?
Graphics: 10/10
This is another great game that showed off the Nintendo 64's 3D graphic capabilities.    All of the sprites for the characters were in the very early stage of 3D; thus meaning they have a bit of a polygon vibe to them.   There are multiple stages,  each of the stages at the time had to be layered in a 2D background rendered over 3D Sprites as every other 3d game at this time had to do as well.   The graphics look very cartoonist, very wacky animations were everywhere in each fight,  each KO was ridiculously awesome(Especially if you knock your opponent into the sky)The game had a general kid playing with dolls kinda theme(This is resembled more thanks to Master Hand) The level and character designs stand very true to each character's franchise to which he/she depending the character comes from. The most common example would be the Pokémon Pikachu and the Pokémon level featuring a few cameo non-playable Pokémon NPCS in the background, you could see some of the cities that were in the Pokémon games. This gives the game the signature iconic look and really helps it's appeal when compared to other Nintendo 64 titles.
Sound: 9/10
All of the sound effects in the game are grunts from the original cast of Characters or they were recycled from various other Nintendo 64 titles.  For example: If you defeat Link or send him into the sky, he'll do the same sound effects as he would if he was failing in Ocarina of Time.
So the sound is basically composed of Smash and wacky sound effects to further push the idea that this game isn't meant to be taken as a serious fighter in any means.
The Music for the game is also fairly good, but to me personally it sounds too similar as if it was on a Super Nintendo Sound chip.   The Hyrule Castle level has the traditional Zelda theme, and if you listen to the Zelda theme from Link to the past; they'll sound remarkably similar.
Addictiveness: 10/10
This game is still a Jam to play on the N64, most enjoyable with friends over.     There's a ton of replay value as the game really doesn't have a stopping point, and the matches are generally fun to play.
I can't really describe it, but the game is simple and fun in pretty much every way possible.
The biggest thing that made this game accessible for everyone was how the game controlled, this game was vastly different from any other fighting games out there.  Most fighting games would require you to do a sequence of button and d-pad combinations to perform high amount of damage or special moves.   Smash brothers differs from this as it took the two button control scheme of Super Mario Brothers and somehow made it into a Genius fighting game.So really there's no excuses as to why you can't play this.
Story: N/A
All I get from the information in the game is that the Main Nintendo characters are being played with as dolls and to end this you gotta pick a fighter and defeat Master Hand.
Depth: 9/10
If you look online somewhere, you'd probably know that there was a ton of more features that were originally planned for this title but ended up being in later Super Smash Brothers games so I'm not gonna repeat what other sites have said.
This game offers 1P mode.   VS mode which let's you play any kind of match and the rules are completely up to you.    Then there's training mode,  There's unlockable characters, there's even a Break the target's speed mode.
So there's quite a bit to do in this game despite what has been scrapped out.
Difficulty: 5/10
This is personal preference, but Smash brothers isn't a truly difficult game at all.  It really depends on you, and what level you decide to play the game at.
If you put it on hardest difficulty then the game will be extremely difficult, but reward you with a higher score.
and if you lower the difficulty, the lesser your score is.
Truthfully I've only struggled with Metal Mario at best,  Master hand and everyone else are pretty much child's play.
Overall 9.3
Like I said at the intro this is regarded as a great N64 title for a reason, so with that being said this game is definitely worth looking into.

A blast to play with friends.   RedHotToddy
Back in my time, Fighting games were all the rage, we had games like Street fighter, mortal kombat, Killer instinct, etc. But that one I am most familiar with is Super smash brothers, a fighting game with all our favorite Nintendo characters like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Star Fox, etc. The game was a huge hit, But Is It a Hit to Me? Let's find out!
Story-N/A
Why would there be a story to games like this? But anyways, you could make up your own story if you want, But for now We are just going to finish this review ASAP.
Gameplay-9/10
Smash bros is a fighting game, in which you pick one out of many Nintendo characters and beat the stuffing ou of eachother! A bunch of the characters include, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Metroid, Etc. There are a bunch of different game modes to play in, and here they are, Single player, here you can play a bunch of certain modes by yourself, such as classic mode, break the targets, home run contest, etc. And there is the multplayer, The highlight of the game! Here you can play with 3 of your friends and have a brawl! And you can pick a bunch of stages to play on, which are all themed after each game, such as Mushroom kingdom from maro, planet zebes from metroid, And hyrule castle from Zelda. You can also play in under certain conditions, Like stock match where you play with an amount of live, last one standing wins, and a bunch of others. Controls are simple, Control stick is jump, A and B are attacks, and I haven't played the game in a long time, So I don't remember much of the controls. So that Is what I can say for the gameplay!
Graphics-8/10
I know this game doesn't stack up there with other games on the N64 like Ocarina of time, perfect dark, and Super Mario 64, But It still looks pretty good! All the characters are made with polygons, but Is that bad? No! As for each of the levels in this game, They are pretty colorful and really nice to look at! This game was made in 1999, and years later, It still holds up today.  And the game was made for N64, So of course It Is not going to look as good of Melee and brawl! The two sequels for gamecube and Wii.
Sound-8/10
The sound in this game is pretty good! Each level you will be fighting on has music that sounds exactly like each game that the certain level Is based on, Like for example, The mushroom kingdom level has the Mario theme, The Hyrule level has the Zelda theme, etc. As for the sound effects, they are pretty good as well, you get your basic thwacks, pows, booms, and a whole lot of more. I must say, good job Nintendo for composing awesome music for your games!
Addictiveness-10/10
Is this a game I am ever going to play again? Of course I am! I mean who wants to leave a Smash bros game alone after like 30 minutes? Nobody, and I say nobody. I still remember the first time I played this game, I didn't put It down until I got Banjo kazooie, another awesome game for the N64. I will also remember staying up till midnight with my friends playing this as well, oh memories.
Depth-10/10
Of course I am going to give this game a 10 on depth! Why you ask, because this game offers so much for you to do It is practically insane!  The main highlight of the game is the multiplayer of course, the mode where you can have a big brawl with 3 of your friends and stay up all night doing whatever with this game, there are also a bunch of characters to unlock, well not as much as the sequels offer, But this was the first game in the series, So cut It some slack!
Difficulty-5/10
It is hard to explain the difficulty of this game, It is really not that hard to pick up and play the game, So the game is pretty darn easy except for that you can set the difficulty for some of the certain modes, but besides that, the game should not give you much trouble.
Overall-9.5/10
What else can I say, You must buy this game! It is without a doubt one of the greatest multiplayer games you can get on the N64! I gave this game a 9.5 because how much fun It is with friends and How much the game itself offers for you to do. So this has been RedHotToddy, and see you tomorrow!

Super Smash Bros Review: Single Player   lemar_deuce123
Okay, hi everyone! This is lemar_deuce123, and I just wanted to say that I, just like any other Super Mario fan, love this game. I remember when I used to play this years ago with my older cousins, and I still play it now, obviously. Well, enough about how much I enjoy playing this game. I'm sure no one really wants to hear about that, and I really don't want to Wright much about it.  Well anyway, I made this view to discuss one thing about the single player mode, and this is the level difficulty and how to really teach yourself to become a better player faster at this game if you're new to it like some others may be.

In Super Smash Bros, when you play single player there is a mode called Classic Mode. This is the single player mode for the game. When in this mode you are to choose a  character, in which normally, someone like me would pick the stars of the game, Mario and Luigi. After you have chosen your character, pick how many lives, which is also known as stock, you want, and  which difficulty you want to play in. The number of lives, or stock, you are able to choose are 5. If you play Classic Mode for the first time, you should maybe start with 5 stocks just in case you get your tail handed to you and go with the unwanted goal of actually getting smashed. For beginners, I would normally say to pick the easy difficult setting. They also have a very easy setting, but that's just boring. I think if you want things to be very easy, you should just practice on a fight dummy, and have it to where he doesn't fight back. I think if  you really want to be a good fighter in this game you should just start with the normal difficult setting, mostly because its not easy, or boring, and you do, in my opinion, learn to play better.  This will also teach you the other character's moves better, enabling you to predict their actions for a better win.  On difficulty settings like easy, they just move a little bit. On difficult settings like very easy, they barely move at all, and you really cant learn anything of get any fun out of fighting if your opponent doesn't fight back. What are they on strike or something?
you also have a series of levels in which, of course as you should know, go around fighting different bosses like luigi, donkey kong, pikachu, and other known characters like kirby. In the very end, you will be fighting a hand, in which is really in the game's reality the hand of the child who owns you, since the characters in single player mode are really just toys he makes a fight scene out of. And also, if you do good enough in the story mode, you will be able to fight a bonus character, in which if you beat the character you can access him or her in multiplayer, as well as single player mode. So now, with that being said I hope you have a nice time playing Super Smash Bros. See you later!

SMASHING success...tehe   port753

I still have this on my nintendo 64

downstairs. I remember when I was younger to be scared of the Master Hand for
some reason because it was so creepy.... So that means that I would always beat
the team of minis, giant Donkey Kong, Mario bros, but then I would reset before
reaching the metal foes. Hey, I don't know why either.... While being a great
game, I can not play this game properly on my computer, or any other nintendo
64 games. I tried just trying to beat link, I had to stop playing.
The graphics, I must point out for every nintendo 64 game, aren't top quality.
The characters on this game seem to be somewhat blocky with colors and lines. I
know it doesn't sound smart at all, but just look at mario and link then, to now.
Now with more modern technology available, we are able to create and perfect more precise details on the characters.... Obviously... But
I do give nintendo credit for pulling off such fantastic effects at this time.
It's been a while since I've played this game on an actual console, so I can't accurately rate the sound. However, I do remember some of the themes for maps like star fox and pokemon are ok. They were as decent as the other n64 pokemon and star fox games too so that is a plus. The sound effects of this game do seem to be fine also. The OH and the BWAH and the DOH seem to be in the correct spots.
This game was good at the time when I was a 3rd grader. It is fun, unique, and lets you play as a character from a variety of nintendo protagonists before a game boy was created. The maps too had some technicalities which made the fights more interesting, and then the addition of random items appearing out of nowhere to aid or hurt you. Now, I probably wouldn't play this game because I have Super Smash Bros Brawl. For those who have the game, know that there is much more offered in brawl because of the two decades that have passed of games and possible characters. This is just a prototype, for the grand fights that had yet to come in its time. I would definitely play brawl before playing this.
Sorry.
Sadly, there is no story to this game at all. There is no plot, there is no real climax or beginning that gives some back story to this. The only thing you can do in this is just fight you enemies. It is sad too because games that have potential like this could be ruined by an unconscious mistake. While we kids do want violence and killing in the average game, we do also demand a sort of purpose or reason why you should play to the end. That is my only real criticism to the real game itself. Now that that is over, I can go back to speaking positively about this. There is a ton to do in this. Well not really a ton, but it does give you something to do. There are 8 original characters and 12 in total here, compared to 22 starters and 36 in total in Brawl. While there is a very noticeable difference in available characters to choose from, they do include only 8 important and ORIGINAL characters. For those who have played this game, should already be aware that you can change the difficulty of the game. I give difficulty a 4 since normally I would give it a 4 on the default setting. I'm not exactly sure how many settings there are, but I'm sure you can change from easy, normal, hard. I'm also sure that you can subtract how many lives you have, which does significantly make the game more challenging. I do wish that I could play this properly, but my crappy computer doesn't really allow that, so all I can do is make this review. While the first SSB might not be the best game in the series created so far, it is the foundation for better versions. However, I do prefer the wii SSB any day rather than the n64 version

Super Smash Brothers   Marcmoney
Super Smash Brothers is incredibly fun. I would always play Super Smash Brothers with my friends all the time. :) This game has characters that are from different places such as Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule, and so on. All of these characters in this game is my favorite, except for Jigglypuff lol. I hate her puffiness and her moves, she has no point being in the game. :P Anyways, for all you newbies that do not know Super Smash Brothers. I will tell you what characters are in Super Smash Brothers and how to get some of these characters. :)
Mario - From Mushroom Kingdom (of course) and he's a starting character.
Donkey Kong - From Jungle Japes (something like that) :P and he is a starting character.
Link - From Hyrule Castle and he is a starting character.
Fox - From Star Fox (i do not know where he is from) :P and he is a starting character.
Samus Aran - From...forgot the name, but she is a starting character.
Yoshi - From Yoshi Island (obviously) and he is a starting character.
Kirby - From the planet that looks like a yellow star and she is a starting character.
Pikachu - From Pokemon games and he/she is a starting character.
Those were the main characters, now for the secret characters...
Luigi - From Mushroom Kingdom and to get him, you must beat 1-Player Mode with Mario on Normal difficulty.
Ness - From Earthbound and to get him, I think you play a specific amount of hours. (I am not very sure)
Captain Falcon - From F-Zero and to get him, you have to play a specific amount of battles. (i think, I am not sure)
Jigglypuff (gross) - From Pokemon games and to get her, all you have to do is beat 1-Player Mode (how easy is that?) :P
That's all the characters in the game. Another thing is that there is a secret stage. It's called Mushroom Kingdom and to get it, I think you have to beat 1-Player Mode with all characters including the secret characters. That's all I can say and on the secret stage, you can go in the pipes. :P Again, I highly recommend getting Super Smash Brothers, it is a whole lot of fun and it can be more fun with friends.

The Game That began the Nintendo Wars   pacman1755
This game is what began the war of the Nintendo wars, the game is really good and I would play it any time. The difficulty is standard, set a difficulty for the story mode or vs. mode and the higher level it is, the harder it is. Depth is not long at all, I give it a 5 because there is only about 10 or so enemies to fight in story mode. The story is none, no back story or anything, just Nintendo characters fighting...not really a story. Sound is alright, the music is pretty much taken from the stage you fight in. Graphics are good for a 64 bit console, not much to it, but its good. Overall this game is really fun to play and I suggest playing this in the RGR right now.
Happy Gaming! :)

Super Smash Bros. review!   DaFlame12
Overall- 8
I got it this time by adding up all the rest of the scores and dividing them by 6. This is a really good game, and possibly one of my favorites for the Nintendo 64.
Graphics- 7
Since the Nintendo 64 was released in North America on September 29, 1996, you can't expect the graphics to be all that great. Back then, they were probably pretty amazing. But now, with the Xbox 360 (soon to be One) and Play Station 3 (soon to be 4), the graphics are next to nothing.
Sound- 9
Could easily be a 10 if it didn't glitch on and off, and that's exactly why it's a 9. Some of the other games I can't even hear sound, or it glitches way worse than this. The music is good, especially for an older game like this one. The voices like Mario's and Pikachu's are good (ex: when you pick a character or attack with one).
Addictiveness- 8
The first time I played this game, I didn't know what I was doing, having no prior knowledge with Super Smash Bros., and I made it to the Magic Hand guy using only one continue. (I had set my lives to only 3) Sadly, I was interrupted and had to leave the house, so I didn't get to play for long. Every time after, I just do team battles, and play for at least half an hour at a time. Anyone who has not played this game already should try it out. Next thing they know they'll be playing for hours!
Story- 9
Since this is the first Super Smash Bros. game, the story is original. A child has a bunch of dolls in his or her room that come to life and fight in arenas. Now where do the arenas come from though? Since the Nintendo characters who are always so friendly start to fight, who knows what will happen. If you run out of lives, you fall back on the dresser.
Depth- 8
This game has different modes, story mode, battle mode, and multiplayer mode. There are in total 12 playable characters, 4 of which must be unlocked. The default characters are Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus Aran, Yoshi, Kirby, Fox and Pikachu. The four unlockable characters are Luigi, Ness, Captain Falcon, and Jigglypuff. So those are all the characters, right? Wrong. There are some players in the game that can only be controlled by the computer. These characters are the other colored Yoshis, Giant Donkey Kong, who is a character you team up against in single player/story mode, the Fighting Polygon Team, which are modeled off of playable characters in the game, and are in 2 stages, Race to the Finish and a battle against them in single player mode. Another character you cannot play as is Metal Mario, a metal version of Mario which you battle against. And last but not least, Master Hand, who is the Super Smash Bros. boss.
Difficulty- 7
Some of the stages and battles are hard, I know. But if either you have a lot of experience with the game or put yourself at a safe enough amount of lives to where you won't have to use a continue, the game should be a breeze. I am alright at this game, as it is sort of easy to pick up on, but it's difficult at the beginning.
Tips:
If you want to unlock new characters fast, put yourself at 5 lives. Every other character has one life, except for the teams (Yoshi team, Fighting Polygon team and Kirby team) who have one life a piece.
To unlock Luigi, finish the target test with all 8 default characters and beat him when challenged.
To unlock Jigglypuff, finish one player mode on any difficulty with any amount of lives and any character without using a continue and beat him when challenged.
To unlock Ness, finish one player mode on normal with 3 lives without using a continue, and beat him when challenged.
To unlock Captain Falcon, finish one player mode in 20 minutes and beat him when challenged.
To unlock the Mushroom Kingdom map, clear one player mode with all 8 default characters on any difficulty with any amount of lives without using a continue.

Super Smash Bros   ross4587
The coming together of all of Nintendo's characters was not really evident in games before Super Smash Bros, but this game brought them all together, but characters had differences and issues that needed sorting out, and those were solved in the form of confrontational fighting. The story here is unknown, what exactly happened that all the characters are now so very angry with each other, especially the Nintendo protagonists who fight for good and peace? Well, this Nintendo 64 game can either be played as one or two player, and characters will fight each other in groups or as an individual. So for example, if Mario was the players choice, it is possible he could fight a large group of Yoshi's, though they won't attack at once. Not all fights will be in the one place, as Nintendo characters exist in several different worlds, and it is those worlds that are where the venues are. There is no boxing ring in any world, so a player can push its opponent off course and secure an easy win. The moves and speed in which an opponent operates depends on the players chosen difficulty level, so a harder level will result in more attacks and blocks by an opponent, keeping the player on their toes. Overall, this typical 90's Nintendo game is one that contains a lot of content and is certainly one that can unlock some interesting characters by meeting a few requirements, keeping people entertained throughout.

Fun but outdated   mariomon64
I own and have played Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl, so I decided that I would check out this game (plus I was curious about the Saffron City stage). What I found was a fighter just as good as the later two games, but with less content. In the most recent one, Brawl, there are around thirty characters while this one has twelve. There were a bunch of things to unlock and different game modes, but here there is just the brawling, the small story mode, and the bonus stages, as well as the only things you could unlock were four characters. But that is besides the point. I'm reviewing the original Smash, not Brawl.
The first thing I noticed about this game was the graphics, since I saw the opening scene. I was impressed. I wasn't expecting something that looked that good on the n64. Maybe it's because I haven't played that many n64 games, but none-the-less I was impressed. Then I started actually playing the game. I was further surprised by how smooth the characters were looking, and how quick the action was. There wasn't any lag accept for some caused by my slow computer. The enemies were quite a challenge to beat, too. The controls are as smooth as the characters, too. I stayed on my toes while fighting the other seven characters. The sounds of this game are great as well. The sound that comes from hitting someone is as satisfying as ever in this series, and the music as catchy.
All in all, this is a good game. It is still entertaining to see classic Nintendo characters fighting each other. However, if you own one of the later Super Smash Bros. games, you probably won't play it that much.

Super Smash Melee Brawl Siblings!   kabenon007
This is it. The game that spawned the gaming phenomenon that is Super Smash Bros, a phenomenon that Sony is now attempting to capitalize on (read: ape) with Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. But little does Sony know that it's all in the name, because this is their first game of this nature, and already it has a descriptor on it. They should have named the first one Battle Royale so they could name the second one All-Stars Battle Royale. Keep up Sony.
Regardless, the core of this game, a core which would go on in each of the newer generation Smash Bros games, is so rock solid you could stick it on the tip of the Iberian Peninsula and call it Gibraltar. The normal attacks, all mapped to the A button, the special attacks, all mapped to the B button, and the grab and block moves, are so simple to understand that anyone can at the very least begin to play this game. I push A to punch, B shoots a fireball/laser/FALCON PUNCH! But despite the simplistic fighting design, the depth of fighting and strategy that comes out of these simple mechanics is surprising. The whole system is so versatile that in the hands of a master, you'd think they had access to a different moveset than you, with the way they can string together combos, items, and dodges.
The graphics are amazing, with just the right combination of traditional fighters such as Street Fighter and a more cartoonish, arcadey approach. This fits very well with the idea that anyone can play this game. The sound, especially the music, is pulled straight from whatever game that particular element came from.
Which brings me to what really sold this game to me: the world. Nintendo knew exactly what it was doing when it created this game. It knew that Nintendo fans had, long before Super Smash Bros ever was conceived, been staging epic battles between Mario and Samus, Pikachu and Yoshi, through their imaginations, with or without action figures or other toys. The opening cinematic of Smash Bros shows the Master Hand pulling out some Nintendo dolls, setting up his desk to create obstacles for the dolls, and then bringing them to life. This clearly says to the player "You remember when you used to do this? Well now it's happening for real!" Our imaginations come alive and we no longer have to combine the worlds of Mario, Samus, Donkey Kong, and Pikachu in our minds because Super Smash Bros does it for us.
The levels are pulled from various characters games. The characters themselves utilize moves and weapons from their respective games. Even the items are straight up Nintendo nostalgia, my favorite addition being the Super Scope, an oft-forgot relic of the NES. And each piece is so full of that particular games flavor. One of my favorite stages, Great Fox, has Arwings flying around that you can ride on, plus Great Fox's lasers even fire from time to time. It's a wild ride that pays homage to some of Nintendo's greatest characters.
Plus, it had one of the greatest commercials ever. Nuff said. This game is a 10.

Super Smash Bros review   Doomguy634
The only thing that I'm going to say is that this game is great. A little hard, but great. I've played it a bunch of times and it is just AWESOME. Even though it has no story, I love playing this game. I've played bunch of other N64 games, but not as good as this one. This game is my all-time favorite game.
Overall rating-10
Graphics- 7:The graphic are just amazing, in fact, breathtaking.
Sound-10:The sound is like you're actually in the game. The sound is just AMAZING.
Addictiveness-6:I don't play this often, but sometimes I play it.
Story-(blank):(There is no story, so I am leaving this part of the review blank)
Depth-9:This game offers SO much game play, I feel like playing it forever.
Difficulty-7: Some enemies are hard to beat, but it's not THAT hard.

It's "Smasher" Time!   Austin Winter
Super Smash Brothers. If you haven't heard this title before, you've been missing out. This is my totally biased review on (in my opinion) one of the greatest games to ever hit a home console. Back in the days of the N64, Nintendo was booming with games. The Legend of Zelda, Mario, but nobody ever expected this Street Fighter meets Mortal Combat game, featuring all the iconic Nintendo characters.
Super Smash Bros. is a fast paced 2D fighting game with decent Mario 64 style graphics (Rough yet clean), and catchy soundtracks. I preferably choose Samus, as she is my favorite, yet there are many options. Each character comes packed with their own unique and special abilities. Your play style depends on the character you choose. Some are highly defensive and take a beating, while others are mostly offensive. Some are quick and some are slow. The object of the game is to deal damage to your opponents. The more damage a character takes, the higher their 'damage counter' rises. Once their counter hits above 100%, that character can then be launched off the stage, the launcher receiving a point. The more launches a person gets, the fewer they take, decides the winner of each match.
While this game lacks story, it also isn't the type of game to carry a story. Being a fighting game, the replay value is in the rematches. Trying out all the characters and finding your match.
There are 4 Smash games in all, and although the first isn't my favorite, it is sure up there with my favorite Nintendo games of all time. I give this game a 9.7 for its full replay value. The only reason I wouldn't return to this game is if I was delving into its improved sequels. This game is classic, and any Nintendo fan should definitely pick up the controller and give this game a try. I'm sure you'll find something likable within it.

Super Smash Brothers N64 Review!   skippercapt
Ahh Nintendo 64, how many awesome games you spawned! There were some really good gems on the N64, like Super Smash Bros! I'm pretty sure almost everyone has already played the game, but for you that haven't, here's a review for it! First off, 1962 emulator glitched on my PC, and didn't work to play, so I had to play using Mupen 64, which glitched and had no sound. So I reviewed the game-play using Vizzed, and the sounds using my Wii, cause I have it on my Wii.
Graphics:
Now first off is graphics! Now its definitely not the best graphics on the N64, but its there first attempt on putting multiple characters from multiple games fighting together while running really good, so the graphics are a-ok! And there are only a few glitches on a few levels, and I show some of them in my screenshots. Graphics 8/10!
Sound:
Now this is where the game really shines! The sounds and music in this game is amazing! The sounds are not only pretty good quality, but something about them is just awesome! And this music is the awesome orchestra music from Nintendo that everyone loves! It even has what sounds like some original music! Sound 9/10!
Addictiveness:
Now this game is some SERIOUS ADDICTIVE!!! You find yourself playing for hours beating Classic mode with every character, or pummeling your friends on all the different stages and with all the different characters! Addictiveness 9/10
Story:
OK so the story isn't that good, its just the opening cutscene, but I really wouldn't complain about it, cause its just a fighting game, but I have to score it. Story 7/10
Depth:
This game believe it or not has a lot to it! Cause there's classic mode with every character, unlocking new characters and stages, Getting good with characters, and playing with friends! That may not seem like a lot, but you have to play it to believe it! Depth 8/10!
Difficulty:
At first, you'll think this is the easiest game in history, but you'll learn that once you change the difficulty, it gets pretty freakin' hard! But not too hard ;)! Difficulty 9/10!
Well that wraps it up on this review. Hope some of you experience the game for yourselves! IF you like the review, then please rate it BTW. See ya later!

Super Smash Bros. (N64)   StuffAllstar
POW! BAM! SMACK! BOOM! You like fighting games? How about a fighting game with your favorite Nintendo characters? Well here ya go! This game is called Super Smash Bros! By yourself or with a couple of friends this game is very fun!
Difficulty-4
First off this games controls are not difficult to master, unless of course your controller is messed up, and overall isn't super difficult or super easy. Well that is if you don't put the CPU on like 9 in Multi-player!
Story- Blank!
No story! At all, none, zip, natta. But if there was a story it'd be about Nintendo characters walking into each others worlds or something like that.
Graphics-9
For the N64 this game did really well on the graphics. I mean come on they had to create Samus just for this game! To my knowledge there wasn't any Metroid game to the 64, either that or I am stupid, and they did very well in general. Nintendo really outdid themselves for the N64, but that's my opinion I really like old graphics.
Addictiveness-10
Whoa slow down there I rated this a 10 for a reason just calm down. This game is very fun when playing with friends and possibly family because well its a way to take out your anger, get to know your friends a little bit better, and you can see what that person's game play style is like. I play as Mario he's just so easy to use.
Depth-8
This game offers quite a bit if you have just started. There are 4 characters to unlock and a special stage! To unlock all these well play Single player and Multi-player a lot! And if ya want you can go to the Data option and check your stats! Like how long you've used a character how many kills ya got and so on so forth.
Sound-10
Just a great soundtrack! And when you hit someone there's sound effects and possibly shouting in the background from the game! People can chant your name, not your real name your characters name, and is just overall very clever of Nintendo to do.
Overall-9
Overall this game is great! You can play by yourself, play with a friend and setup challenges for yourself to get a certain amount of kills or something! This game DESERVES a rating of 9.

Smash bros N64 Review   Avreetheboss
(I'm writing this as if it was the 1990's and the N64 has just come out. Enjoy)
Ah , Here we are. We've come a long way from 8 bit. This is 64 bit territory now! No more small side scrollers. No more 2d shapes made to look like 3d. We are at 64 bit! We get 3d games! Have you seen Ocarina of time? The graphics look amazing! What weird controller design though. It looks like an "m" with the middle line drawn to far down. But who cares? The games are amazing! What's this game? Super smash bros? Mario and Link in the same game? HOLY CRAP THAT'S AWESOME!! I gotta get this!
Woah what's with the weird flying hand at the title screen? Is it picking up a Pikachu doll and dropping it? I want a Pikachu doll. Woah it came to life! It's fighting Samus? I can't wait for the title sequence to be over! Alright it's time to play the game! Woah i get so many different options to choose from! Lets start with....... 1p! Even more choices! Uh lets see. 1p game , training mode , Bonus 1 and 2 practice? lets just start with 1p game. I get all these characters? I wonder what the ? slots are. Maybe secret characters! I'll choose Fox! He seems like a bad***! Um... lets do easy 5 lives. Woah All these stages i have to get through? Alright lets start...
Wow this gameplay is amazing! It feels so good to kick the crap out of Link with these controls! Ok so a does main attacks and b does a special attack? Ok that's cool.  C also jumps. If i get close to Link i can throw him with R! L Does a little dance thing.. Maybe it's a taunt! And Z puts a bubble that shrinks around me. Uh Ok that's cool I guess. Lets see the other things about this game.
Ok So now i defeated link and this point system thing came up. Cool i earn points for how well I do in battle! I have to fight a whole team of Yoshis? That's not fair! It's only 5 of me vs tons of them! Oh wait a second i can KO them easy. It feels so good to make so many Yoshis fly off the screen and when they get there. BAM! Huge explosion! Alright all Yoshis dead. Ok now I fight myself in a different colored suit? Alright fine. Ok so now i beat him and i get to a shoot targets? Oh this is what that bonus 1 thing was. 10 targets in easy to reach places. Alright fair enough. All that was for was points... Eh I'll take it. The Mario bros? I didn't see Luigi on the roster. He must be a secret character! So is this all there is to this game? Just fight Nintendo characters? That's cool I guess. *fast forward to final boss* It's the hand from the title screen! His name is Master hand. Well I have the master hand because It's my hand that's gonna kill him! *Defeats Master hand* Yes! I knew I have the master hand! *cricket chirps* Woah this ending is sick! I get to shoot the programmers? That's awesome!
A challenger approaches? This is just like who's that Pokemon! Wait..... is that Jigglypuff? Yeah it is! Jigglypuff is a secret character! Ok lets fight him now. Woah He/she's way tougher than the others. this is close. YEAH I BEAT HIM/HER! So now He/she is mine to play as forever? That's awesome!
So let's try vs mode. I'm lonely so I'll have to just battle myself. Choose characters. Woah all these stages are mine? These stages are awesome! Ok lets quit and try some options. So in the options in vs mode I can control which items spawn? That's wicked! I have so many options at my finger tips. I am the ruler of this world HAHAHHA *cough*
The sound and music is this game Is resplendent! I can hear every step , jump , and punch! I feel like I'm watching from the stands. Like this is some sort of new sport. This game is so addictive too! I could beat the crap out of Link or Samus for hours! Sadly beating this game wasn't that hard to beat. Just some practice and I had it down to the ground. the story wasn't great either. Beat a giant hand ruler of the universe. But what makes up for this is how much you can play this game and not get bored. Hours and hours of fun is in this game for you to explore! The graphics are like a 2d Mario 64 to me. If you look at Mario in both games you can see the edges of the polygons. But the graphics are good for 64 bit.
So overall this game is an awesome game for the N64 library and is a must play fr any Nintendo fan. Also this will solve the "this guy would beat this guy in a fight" arguments. If you like fighting games as well try this game out. I rate it... 8.24 out of 10

Smash Bros. 64   Sauron422416
Ok guys, this is my FIRST every review on Vi zed! Please post below, telling what you liked about it and what I could improve on. Anyway, lets get started.
Today, we'll be talking about the infamous fighting game, Super Smash Bros. for the N64!
     GRAPHICS: 8
The graphics was acceptable during the era the game was released in, however, the animations of fighters were not really pleasing to the eye. For example, Captain Falcon's "FALCON PUNCH!" had some fire effects, but, it did not look realistic. I was nice enough to not rate it TOO low because this game was released in 1999. Consumers of that time must have been amazed of the 3-D dimensional aspects that the Nintendo 64 hardware could produce, such as open-worlds filled with interact able NPCs. On the downside, Nintendo 64 had its own technical limitations. Comparing the graphics of the game to games of today, is simply unfair. So I rated it an 8.
   SOUND: 9
The sound was very good, but when smashing sometimes it is not a magnificent thing to your ear. When fighting, the noises and sound effects can irritate you at times in my humble opinion. How does it compare to other sounds in different titles? The effects of Super Mario 64 was kind of better then those in this title. I just feel that some sounds in Smash Bros. 64 just do not fit well in a fighting game. Those are some negatives in the sound effects; overall, the music in the game itself was phenomenal! It brought back songs and more from classic Nintendo franchises such as the popular Mario theme that plays in the Mushroom Kingdom stage, to The Legend of Zelda theme located in Hyrule Castle. It was as if there was a "Link" (Get it? Link? Like different games being connected, and Link from The Legend of Zelda? *sighs* Ok...no more bad jokes...) between all these different games, being all brought together to FIGHT.
   ADDICTIVENESS: 10
Now, you may think that I rated this TOO high...but the truth is: it deserves this score. Let me explain. I could play this game until the day I DIE (Wait, actually not really because I need to eat, sleep, and all...lets not get TOO realistic here...you get what I mean)! Why! Because of the enhanced gameplay, a plethora amount of characters available in the roster, and endless possibilities of combos. It's even better in multiplayer (Well, not really because this was made as a competitive party game, so it COULD tear you and your friend's friendship apart.) because the game is up to 4 PLAYERS. As you win a round against your exasperated best friend, it CAN be a good experience...
   DEPTH: 7
This game has ALOT to offer. There is hundreds of collectibles such as trophies and music. The game is BIG, jam-packed with some secret characters that can be unlocked with specific tasks. But other than that, that is pretty much it!

 DIFFICULTY:5
The game can be difficult at times. Learning the controls may take awhile because they are so complex. This fighting game is not like others like Mortal Combat or Street Fighter which only had the A and B button. This game had a lot of characters, each with their own unique set of moves, and advantages and weaknesses. As a beginner myself, it took 3 months to learn the moves, controls, and techniques experts use. You can learn some basic controls from the tutorial which can be accessed via the main menu.
   OVERALL: 9.9
So close right? SO close to a perfect score, 10. I chose 9.9 because the graphics and sound really brought it down (By just 0.1 which does not really matter XD) Overall, this game is both for casual and experts. Don't worry angry parent mobs, there is NO blood. Overall, this game is a game that is worth trying. It may not look interesting at first, but don't judge a book by its cover!

Kaboom,Pow.Bang!   soniclover44
Super Smash Bros. For N64 was released in 1999. I first got the game when I was exploring a local game store in 2012 and saw it on a shelf. The N64 was only $60 and SSB was 15. When I got home I instantly started to play the game. Very soon I was addicted to Super Smash Bros. and hope I do a good job of telling you guys about it.
Graphics: Well,They aren't anything compared to today's systems and it doesn't stand out much compared to other games on the N64 like Majora's Mask or Mario 64 but because because they were programming 12 characters in a fighting mode I'll let it slide. Although I would like to mention that I really like how they made Link and Kirby and in my opinion they look the best in the whole game.
Sound: OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!! The sound in this game is mind-blowing as they took songs from other Nintendo games which I hadn't seen other company's do. The short grunts and Oofs sound nice while in battle and they did really good on CF's Taunt and all Mario SFX which sound a lot like Mario 64(They probably are from SM64 =/). Also,The master hand(A giant white glove) has a real nice voice. Something that really bothers me though is how Luigi sounds almost exactly like Mario only higher pitched.
Addictiveness: Where do I begin? This game is so addicting and you'll probably want to come back to this game a lot once you pick it up. This game's 12 char roster and Special Moves are sure to have you in training a lot to master combos and defeat master hand. And, Sometimes you will fight new chars to unlock them and I always find that fun as they are more challenging then normal CPU's.
Depth: This game has a total of 12 chars, 8 to start and 4 to unlock. The unlockables are Captain Falcon,Luigi,Jigglypuff, and Ness. You will encounter them randomly as you play Classic Mode. there are 8 stages in Classic(I think)and in each one you'll encounter something different. You might either be fighting in a 1 on 1, A giant Version if someone, A team of chars usually Kirby and Yoshi, Or the Master Hand. There are also mini games in Classic which are Race to the finish,Break the Targets, and Board the platforms. The final boss, Master hand is the giant hand glove thing that mushes you,Crushes you, Shoots you,and a few other things...
Difficulty: This is 5 because it depends on whether or not you are very good at the game or not so good. People who play the smash bros series a lot will most likely be better than those who do not.
Overall: This game is amazing for it's time and I highly recommend it to anyone who's a fan of fighting or family games. It probably won't cost you more than $20 to get your hands on a game that started a revolution!

biff! super smash bros review by noahs_brother   drivethemfromou..
Welcome to my review of super smash bros, the game where you can beat the hell out of link with jigglypuff. This game is great, so enjoy the review. I will try to rate it fairly as possible. Being a fan of super smash bros for a while, this will not be a problem. Enjoy.
Graphics: 7/10 The graphics for this game are... okay. The characters look like they were cut out of their respective games. But the game is fun and addicting, so this is very excusable. Graphics okay.
Sound: 10/10 this is where the game really shines. The music for this game keeps.you so pumped and makes it keep like you are actually in the action. The music is so fast paced and wonderful. It makes you want to jump around in some stages lol.
Addictiveness: 9/10 I could play this game over and over again. It almost never gets old this game is.so fun and even better with friends.
But after a while it gets old and boring, but only after playing it for like 2 years straight lol. But overall, very addicting game.
Story: N/A this game really has no story, other than "weird disembodied hand makes figurines come to life and fight to the death" but that is the only tidbit of story you really get, so yeah. But this game really does not need a story to be great. Lots of great games do not have stories.
Depth: 7/10 this game does not have a lot to do. It is still addicting, but not very deep. The only things you can do are adventure, bot matches, and multiplayer. But it's only because of the hardware limitations of the Nintendo 64. But it was rated higher because you can unlock some characters. That adds more to it.
Difficulty: 6/10 this game is not very difficult. You can normally fly through it in like 10 minutes, but it does get difficult if you turn up the difficulty, if you enjoy being punished. The master hand is a bit harder though.
Overall: 9/10 if you like fighting games like this, go out and buy it, by all means. This game is very fun and addicting, and I promise, you Will not be disappointed. But the original copy of the game is very hard to come by there days if you are not willing to pay upwards of 40 dollars. Still a nice collectors game too. I hope I have persuaded some people to play this gem of a game.

Super Smash Bros: Nintendo's Ultimate Fighting Series   ChubbaAustin
Hey people, it's me again! This time, here to talk  about Nintendo's greatest fighting series: Super Smash Bros., a game where Link can slash Mario with the master sword, Captain Falcon can falcon-punch Kirby, and a addicting multiplayer mode to top it off. I myself have this game on my Wii. I also own Super Smash Bros. Brawl, an amazing fighter for the Wii. And I am HIGHLY looking forward to the new game coming in 2014. But what are we here for? Alas, where it began. Super Smash Bros. for the N64. First, graphics. For the N64, this game has some amazing graphics and animations. Graphics gets a 9. Next sound. Oh sound. The sound is INCREDIBLE. The music draws you into the fight, making for even MORE heated battles. Sound gets a perfect 10. As for adictiveness, this game is great for playing with your friends. That's the greatest part about the series: the great multiplayer. While solo mode won't keep you coming back, multiplayer single-handedly WILL. Addictiveness gets a 9. Now, for story. I think it goes something like this. Mario and other famous Nintendo mascots want to fight Master Hand. So they duke it out to find out who gets to fight Master Hand. Story gets a 7. Next, depth. Depth is getting a high score mainly thanks to the multiplayer, but there are unlockable fighters too. I think the hardest to get is Ness. I barely made it through normal mode with no continues with Luigi. But after I got to him, he beat me. Then, I used Kirby and I got him. Depth gets a 9. Finally difficulty. This game can be hard or easy, because you can change the difficulty. So, I'm giving difficulty a 10. Overall, this is just such a fun game to play, and enjoy with some buddys. I highly recommend you check out Brawl if you haven't already. I give this game.... A PERFECT 10!

Super Smash Bros. is EPIC   nicco139
This is  BY FAR the best game I have ever played.
Here We Go!
Graphics:10
Ok, so the N64 wasn't THAT good. But this game was TREMENDOUSELY good for its time.  it was really something else
back  then.
Sound:9
The only thing wrong with this game (and please, if this is just my computer+RGR,don't be mad at me. I don't know anything!)is the glitchy sound. The MUSIC is great, but it doesn't come out right.
Addictiveness:10
This is one of those "storyless, play-till-you-can't-see-straight" games. It could be played over and over again!
Overall:10
I know that this is a decision everyone can agree on. I did some research, and I found I was right! Just look!
From Amazon.com (I think this is a more insightful review, so I'm using part of it to prove a point)
"Unlike most fighting games, Super Smash Bros. allows you to team up with a computer partner and take on other teams in both single and multiplayer modes. But the most fun is had when four human players play in a battle royale. The game quickly becomes a scene of incredibly fun chaos: picture Mario beating up on Luigi, while Donkey Kong is chased by a scampering, sledgehammer-wielding Pikachu. It's the perfect party game."

Super Smash Bros   PokemonMaster121
Super Smash Bros is a cool fighting game to play with friends or yourself because the game never gets boring if you have a brother like mine or you play by yourself for a very long long time.
Overall 10 This game was made perfectly by Nintendo but not better than Mario 64, I love this game since you feel like you never want to stop because your beating the cpu's like what you would be doing in real life but the sad thing is no one could do this but everyone would want to.
Graphics 8 The graphics are sick and all but the only problem is the items the pokeball is 2d and the Pokémon's inside but you know that were not in the future like how they made the other ssb games and if they had those graphics then man the other games in the ssb games wouldn't work out but good graphics.
Sound 10 All the sounds, songs, effects in the game like when you punch someone with Mario you will hear a hit noise that is cool, the songs put in the game fits with every option or place like the character select screen the song is good and then go to peach's castle the song fits in.
Addictiveness 10 This game will never ever get old when you play with friends and more fun with your best friends if they like this game the same amount that you like the game. When you play with yourself it's fun and all but everyone enjoys it better with friends.
Story 7 There really isn't a story but you get to play in classic mode that is a fun thing to play by yourself but you could consider it as a story if you want to.
Depth 10 This amazing n64 game gives a lot to offer Nintendo made this as the best they could do and you can't ask for more because that was the past we did have good technology in the past but we cant make n64 the next wii or gamecube but the game is amazing for what they gave us in the game.
Difficulty 5 This game isn't really hard to learn and is hard at the start but when you get so better than you were you could finish classic in under ten mins and beat the level in 30 secs if you try hard.
All in all (not the gas in cars 2) this is a really amazing game Nintendo made for most people in the world and now to end this Ma ma mia why do I have to stop.... bye for now.

A fight to the game set.   rnfoxtrot
It is good and classic game and I suggest that you play it.  Now most that play SSBB have no respect to the original super smash brothers, so this is a good game to have on a site now the graphics on this game are the same from the game the players come from and original sound so I give it a 10 for graphics and sound. And the game is just dame right addicting.   The mane problem is that the story is short and there is hardly depth so can give this a 4 on the story and depth.  the game has a controllable difficulty so it cane be a 1-10.

The Graphics on this game were Ok, but I think for being online and having been from the Nintendo 64 it's okay. 8
The Sound was at different times good, but then they made Captain Falcon sound like a wimp at times. Also the announcer had a squeaky voice. The sound also was at time like the original. 6
I really like this game, and I find it very addicting. 10
This game doesn't have a really story.
The game doesn't offer that much, but it does take a while to unlock all the Characters... 6
Difficulty depends on the settings, but over all it is pretty hard. 8
Over all I would rate it 9.5
Brief summary.

this game is great   theironhide
This game wasn't the first game in the series i've played i played brawl already before but that's because i've never owned a n64 i still haven't played melee but i have to say that this is an amazing and classic game
graphics: 9 3d was rare when this console came out
it may look odd prepared to the 3d games on the ps3 or wii but it is great for the time
sound:7 the sound is ok and the music isn't bad at all (except for the Mario track) but the lack of work in music makes it lose points
addictiveness:10 this game is very addictive i mean is so fun to use 11 different characters to kill Mario that's why i rate it so high
story: yeah uhm.... this game doesn't really have a story i mean you use characters to fight each other and unlock 4 other characters that's it
depth: again i can't rate the depth this is because you never play the game really out i mean you can play it over and over for as long and much as you want
difficulty:8 this depends on which difficulty you select in adventure very easy is pathetic while very hard is insanely hard (especially with my glitchy shift) and in battle mode you can also select difficulty of your opponents its nice ya can decide the difficulty that alone gives it an 8
overall:9 this is overall a great game so when you have the right driver and graphic card you really have to play this game

Super Smash Bros Review   narutofan7
This game is pretty fun. You can change the difficulty level and the amount of lives you have to make it fun whatever your strength is. Training mode is available to help you practice. The graphics aren't the best because it is a old game, however it doesn't matter if you have fun :). Controls can be and are weird. If you have trouble with them just go to the post about the controls. Controls are similar for each character however each character has their own unique skill. There is 4 characters you have to work to unlock. This is fun game for all ages.

Good game but some little problems.   Andrew Gonzalez
Super Smash Brothers 64 is probably the best Nintendo 64 fighting game that I have ever played. This was the first fighting game I played that I really enjoyed and was old besides Tekken Tag Tournament the actual arcade game. Smash Brothers has a great addiction for people of all ages. Even if you are 111 years old, you would probably just say, " Do you mind sparing the controller, because I want to get in on the action. What I liked about this game is that its like Tekken; you have to put some effort and earn your way to unlocking a character. For example, usually in most fighting games you give them a small  and they are out cold. Well in Smash Brothers you have to move the joystick or the arrow keys and hit the basic attack button to knock them into oblivion, making yourself the victor of the match, or story. Two problems that I had while playing this game was that the game kept going a little slow and the game frequently kept crashing on me, especially after I finish my first bonus stage in the story mode. Well overall I think that Super Smash Bros is created for people big and little who want to play with their friends and have their favorite Nintendo characters beat the life out of each other. Thank you for viewing my reply and I hope you rate it nicely.

Super Smash Bros!
The great Nintendo fighting game that nobody can forget playing, people have mixed opinions on this game so this is mine.
Graphics:6
I'm not the type of person that judges games on graphics apart from when it's just horrible (E.T for the Atari 2600) however these aren't good by today's standards so I'll give it a 6. I like them but they are bad for today.
Sound:9
I gave the sound a 9 because it hasn't got bad quality sound. You can hear it and although they just took soundtracks from their franchises it was still nice.
Addictiveness: 9
I really got addicted to it. I couldn't stop playing and when I got to the special stages, I was so determined to beat them, however much I try I could only beat it once.
Story:0
There is no story.
Depth:7
I gave depth a 7 because it has 12 characters, 4 non playable characters and 9 maps to offer excluding special stages and single player only stages which add on to it.
Difficulty:5
I put it in the middle, not because of irritating controls or it being hard to learn, because you can set it to different different difficulties.
Overall I give it a 9.1/10 because it's a good game (in my opinion), give it a shot, you'll be playing in no time.

Overall 10/10: Awsome game ever to beat up the characters when they appear i just kill them.
Graphics 5/10: It said that there was sound and graphic issues so i checked, but there was graphics to deal with.
Sound 8/10: It said that there was sound and graphic issues so i checked, but there wasn't. the sound was amazing to hear alot!
Addictiveness 10/10: The game is so cool i always want to play again, it was total amazing!
Story 8/10: Musics fine, but graphics at the end of the story i was confused about Mupen64.
Depth 5/10: They take to 7-20 minutes to play these games so its just fine.
Difficulty 5/10: I don't know, there are 5 difficulties: very hard, hard, normal, easy, very easy.
See my thread for unlockables, cheats and help ok. Now keep beating up your characters.

ssb rewiew for n64   rikivizzed
on 1997,nintendo relase on europe super smash bros, a fighting game for nintendo 64.in this game the nintendo's character (just a few,not all) challanged themselves in some places of nintendo's world.
the list of attacks avaibles for each character was very different (for example: mario attacked with fireballs or  his hood, link with his sword and boomerang,etc...) and the game had a lot of contents.
the scenaries was: the mushroom kingdom, the temple, corneria, pokemon stadium and more.
game modes are:
for single player: regular match, stadium and training.
for multiplayer:tournament,tournament with costum rules.
there are also special modes: trophies, gallery.
the most meaningfuls nintendo's character avaibles are: mario, link, yoshi, donkey kong, capitain falcon samus aran, peach, kirby ,pikachu and jigglypuff.
final comment: i think this game is very technician. plan the correct tactics at the right time not always is easy. in most, this game is very long.
obtain all trophies requies a lot of time. but in multiplayer mode it gain a good thrust (i mean that the game was very eternal). have a lot of fun when you play this game,i hope!

The Beginning of a Revolution   Renzination
This is it. This is the game that started it all. From humble beginnings, 12 characters, minimal systems, Smash 64 is the game that would set the standard for the next Smash games to come. This game is the real deal. Classic Nintendo characters! Classic Nintendo stages! Boss battles! 4 player combat! Smash 64 saw the Nintendo 64 system and it's multiplayer capability and said, "We're gonna own that b***h."
Smash 64 was released and Nintendo fanboys everywhere lost their collective minds battling against each other AT THE SAME TIME.
Even to this day, Smash 64 is STILL played at tournaments alongside Melee, Project M, and Smash 4. Whether you're Link spamming the boomerang, Mario spamming fireballs, or trying to figure out how the hell to use Jigglypuff's down B; everyone has a blast playing this classic game that created a whole community of players for years to come.

3 2 1 Go! *insert Super Mario Bros theme here* Anyway, Super Smash Bros is one of the greatest multilayer games you can play.
With 8 Nintendo characters, and 4 secret characters,(no spoilers) this game has a character for you and three other people. The point of Super Smash Bros is to beat each other senseless. Now I wonder how this game has an E rating. Anyway, you use items and special moves to knock other people off the fighting arena. Super Smash Bros can be a casual game or a very competitive game. Super Smash Bros has great graphics, a nice, wide variety of music. There is not any story line (until Super Smash Bros Brawl.) but that will not even come close to affecting the game play and how fun Super Smash Bros can really be.

First off, I never played a 64 back then. To the review.
Super Smash Bros. (Or SSB for short which I will use) is a Nintendo beat em' up mad on the Nintendo 64.
SSB. really is a treat to play. It also led to many spins, such as Super Smash Flash 2, SSB. Crusade and even PlayStation All stars!
The game was simple, yet complex in a way. You start with 8 characters such as Mario, DK, Kirby and so forth.
There is also a 1P mode of which ends in a climatic battle with Sorry can't say this.
There are 4 unlockable characters too and an unlockable stage.
Time to wrap things up..
If you like beat em' ups particularly that really is addicting, then click PLAY GAME!
Anyone should try this anyway. Its a great game!

You can rotate and view the characters from different angles by entering the character bio section and holding Z. You can use the analog stick to move them around.

Sound Test

To activate the Sound Test, successfully complete Bonus Practice games 1 and 2 with all characters including Luigi, jigglypuff, ness and c.falcon. The Test Music option will appear on the Data screen

999% damage

To do this, you must pick Mario as your character and you must go to Hyrule Castle as a stage (you can fight any opponent you want). At Hyrule Castle, get your chosen opponent to the top wooden platform, and then push him or her off of the platform on the left side. Then, spawn as many green shells as you can on the right side of the platform. From here, go to the middle platform and go to the edge of the left side, facing left. Do Mario’s Up + B move – if done correctly, your opponent’s percentage will go up to 999%. Then, simply wait a second, and knock your opponent off the screen.

@Megaman10 You must have enabled the F lock, to unlock it, find it on your keyboard "F Lock" and press it. And you should load your game again.
