For fans of Advent Children and FF7, on June 2nd the Directors cut will be released which adds 25 extra minutes to the movie, better quality/sound, includes a 20 minute long anime of "Case of Denzel" (which is the main boy in the movie), and a few other extra stuff that hasn't been mentioned yet.

This will only be released on Blu-Ray it sounds like and will go for about US $27 on Amazon

I know some of you are die-hard anti-FF7 but lets keep discussion of this thread for people who are interested in this like me.

I know that I'll definitely be buying this for sure, I loved the movie and the game is my favorite video game so it's definitely worth just the extra 25 minutes. Though I don't have a blu-ray player right now, I hope to have a PS3 by June but if not, I'll just watch it with someone who does have a blu-ray player.

If anyone has any more information regarding this film, please post it.

excellent i always wanted to know about denzel, and with this the remix of ff7 for the ps3 is more close because more fans would be born

Yeah he's one of the few characters in the movie that you know nothing about, should be interesting.

I'm very excited.

26 minutes of additional air time, not including edits made to existing changes, Case of Denzel, The old Reminiscence of FF7, Reminiscence of Compilation, and Turbulence of Advent Children.

It's most spiffy.

I just ordered this today on amazon, hope to get it in a week and will let you all know how it is. Can't wait!

I finally saw it and it was definitely worth buying again. Not only are some scenes longer and not only are there new scenes, but the previous scenes look even better with more detailed 3D.
