Short Answer: PS3 has Warhawk, PS3 is better. Edti::.... the guys says you don't need a hard drive on the 360 to enjoy games, while you can play them you can't save them..... Also the game lineup is a totally unfair argument at the point this article was written. And Sony is trying to make strides with its online service. Finally the argument about power to me just seems to make him sound lazy as a developer. If a dev wants to create a technical masterpiece PS3 is the place to do it b/c it has more power. PS3 has the most games I want (Disgaea 3, Disgaea 3 and Disgaea 3) and that's all that matters in the end.

Very good point Dragon Master, it's all about the games and Xbox 360 proves to have the better games. According to IGN, Xbox 360 has 28 games rated 9 or above while the Playstation 3 has only 14...that's only half.
Also worth pointing out, only 8 of those PS3 games are exlusive to the PS3, while the rest are also for the Xbox 360. The Xbox360 on the other hand has 22 games rated 9 or above that the PS3 doesn't have. Here is the list of games Rated 9 or above (does not contain downloadable games from PSN or Xbox live)
Not to mention Xbox 360 has games coming out like Fable 2 and Shenmue 3.

I missed a few that were for the Xbox 360 and also for the PS3 but they were much higher rated on teh Xbox 360.
In any case, PC doesn't really count because this is a war between PS3 and 360, a console gaming war. This gives me a way to prove my point further and that point is, majority of games that are for both the PS3 and the 360 are much higher rated on the 360. Not to mention gamespot proved the 360 to have better graphics over the PS3. Playstation 3 just doesn't give me any reason to buy it, maybe 1 or 2 games I wouldn't mind playing but not worth spending $400+ to play those games. And if I wanted a blu-ray player, only $150 for the addon to my desktop pc.

You can't really trust ratings, it mostly comes down too what you like. And in Xbox case most of the games are FPS or racing which doesn't quite entertain me as much as an good action game or rpg.

I forgot to add, probably shouldn't judge a game/system on ratings. Usually when stuff gets bad reviews I like them but when they get rated high I disagree... for ex. COD4 and the new GTA were just garbage in my opinion but they got like 9-10.0 ratings all over. The more popular it is the more overrated it will most likely become lol. RPG's are good and all but I just don't have time for them. Even though the Xbox 360 has a lot of FPS, they aren't as time consuming and they are good for gamers who don't have time to bury themselves in a 100+ hour RPG. If I was still in school, perhaps I'd think differently but as an adult, Xbox 360 is just the system that is more suitable for me. And they of course got a lot more than just FPS.

So since this is mostly opinion based and has nothing at all to do with scietific facts of each console, im voting for X-Box 360.
Why? First off, Cost. Even when it was first released it didnt cost as much as a PS3 and didnt stay at the same price that the PS3 has stayed at for such a long time. So, x-box is cheaper yet still a powerful and fun console. Second, Game Choices. For me, X-Box has everything id prefer for a game's. Most games i find i like are released to both PS3 and X-Box but not PC. So, having an X-Box is all i would really need. Basically, PS3 has nothing X-Box doesnt already have. Third, Dashboard. Not sure if PS3 actually has something like this but Dashboard is awesome. Keeping track of game records and such. This way you can brag to your mates about doing something completely awesome and not actually have to attempt to do it again. Fourth, Ergonomics. Its been proven that the 360 controller is more comfortable (though many would agrue) but it mostly allows for hours of pain free gaming. If i hold a PS controller for 3-4 hours it really starts to hurt the thumbs and wrists. But not with X-Box. 10-12 hours of Halo 2 and ya know what? Nothing! No pain! Woo! Fifth, Dont really have a point here. Heh, in conclusion - I would prefer an X-Box 360... I know my little speach will make some of you change your minds...

People cant hold that whole "blue ray" thing over xbox, if xbox disks run out of space (As i've said before) they just use a 2nd disk, it dosnt make the game lack anymore, if anything it makes it better.
360 will always dominate I belive, it feels more than a console, feels like a part of the entertainment system in a house.

Further more on BlueRay (yeah i wanted to avoid this) Blue Ray may have superior quality and allow for greater content on a single disc but it LACKS in compatibility... Also, with PS3's slack backwards compatibility it makes it ultimatley useless to play PS2 games (which are still, in some cases, worth playing.)
X-Box 360 utilizes an already wide spread form of media that anyone can use. BlueRay is a waste of technology.

For your information: HDDVD IS DEAD. Bluray officially killed it. No movie makers release their stuff on HDDVD's any longer only DVD's and bluray's.
Also on multiple DVD thingy: MGS4 had to be compressed to fir onto an bluray disc, bluray has about 25gigs of storage. Which means if it were to be relaes on Xbox it would need 6 DVDs, 3 if you went with dual layered. So tell me, do you really want to have to switch DVD's 6 times before your done with a game? DVD-9 can hold almost 9 Gigs of info, which is what XBox 360 can read. Blu-ray did kill the HDDVD but just because Sony is using a sucessful media, doesn't mean it's going to be successful. I'm pretty sure CDi was one of the first gaming systems to use CD (and it's competition was cartridge) for it's games and it failed pretty bad. I hate swapping games too but I did it for Shenmue, FF7, FF8, FF9, etc...
