It's been a terrible week, $500+ worth of damage, a lot of my time invested (14+ hours a day for the past week) but it's safe to say vizzed is finally done with the attacks and security updates.

I just want to say thanks for everyone's patience and support. Also want to say that I'm terribly sorry for all of this inconvenience, so to make up for it, all games are 75% off Viz and you now get tripled the Viz for referring members to the site until summer (june 21st).

How can you help Vizzed recover from these attacks? There's no doubt that this has hurt vizzed financially, but it also hurt our search engine ranking and traffic. If everyone could pitch in to help out, that'd be great. You can help out by advertising the site by either telling your friends about it or posting links to it on other sites. Remember, you'll get 3 times the Viz for doing it which is: 300 Viz for each person you direct to the site, 1500 Viz if they sign up and 3000 Viz if they make at least 1 post.

My question is exactly how long will the 75% of games deal last? The thing is, I'm not using RGR until I am able to use it on Chrome, and if that takes too long, I'm going to be missing out on deals.

Glad that it back up! I just talked to JigSaw and he told me that he came back when he heard about the DOS attack and problem, so he told me that he willing to help you a little. or at least that what he told me in his pm. Anyway, Keep up good work David!

I'm just glad this is all over with. Spend almost all my awake hours working on the site for a week straight, that can really take a lot out of a person. It's been the most stressful week of my life lol.

Not to be redundant, but thanks for all the time you spent fixing everything. On top of that you managed to cram 153 new games into the RGR in the midst of the attack.

I sent a suggestion PM, but I figured you have been too busy to go through them so I'll just mention it here.

If you get the time, it might help to send out a newsletter earlier than usual (or just a quick email). It could help inform users that it's safe to come back. I was only logging on to fulfill mod duties. It was lagging too much to do more than what was necessary. Now that it's calmed down you can just spread the word for people who didn't bother checking at all.

My friend is a videogame programmer, so I might try to get him to join.

Gosh now I feel really bad about the whole situation. Just know that we all really appreciate what you do, and are thankful for all the work you put in to keep this site running.
