What is the best rpg game in retro gaming that you like ? If you got a game describe why you think its the best.Im a Rpg fan and trying to find new ones to play.My all time favorite was the Final Fantasy series I have every game of final fantasy series 1 through 13 except the ones on nintendo ds.For the ones for playstation and playstation 2 I have.I love them because its a great adventure and take turn battle engagement.Overall great characters in all of the final fantasy games to.Although,My favorite character is Cloud and Sephiroth off Final Fantasy XII cloud just looks grand in the shinra inc building when your escaping I love it.Whats your favorite rpg game on vizzed and character of the final fantasy series ?

I don't know if i can just say a best, but I can tell you of some others that are good. Shining force series are good. They don't play like Final fantasy games. They have a bit more of a strategy feel to them. Though they are one of my favorites. Also I can think of other good rpg games but are not in the game room. Also their are te pokemon games if ur into that they are fun to, or even the zelda.

jc2p2 : I used to like the pokemon series but I just think that their ok now a days although Ive played every final fantasy for ps1 and ps2.I love the final fantasy game and chrono cross chrono trigger.Im stuck on a part on chrono trigger where you have to push 3 buttons at once do you know how to edit the keyboard with the snes emulator if you do and tell me I will pay you Viz but thankyou for tellin me some great rpgs on vizzed.

Phantasy Star 4. It's my personal favorite.

I've enjoyed a lot of the other ones that were mentioned but I love the storyline of Phantasy Star 4... nothing else has compared for me.

I'll agree with Saroth on Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. It's my favorite out of all the ones he listed. Earthbound & Chrono Trigger are really good too.

I really like Chrono Trigger, it is in my opinion one of the best RPG's out there. Also I would also have to say that Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories is also a really great game. I had the original for the GBA but lost it so once I found Vizzed Board I was glad they had it.

Final fantasy Tactics advanced has to be the best final fantasy game for the advance in my opinion. i just love how it lets you choose what role you want your character to play.i mainly like to use blue/red mages for their diverse ability set and snipers for their range and double shot ability. the storyline waa also really good.

I would say Chrono Trigger. I remember growing up with the Super Nintendo, and when I saw Chrono Trigger on the shelf of my local game store, I didn't think much of it, and got Super Metroid, instead. Once I beat that, after hours of frustration, my family decided to rent a movie to watch together one weekend. My father and I went to the rental store, and upon entering, found out that they had recently opened up a game rental section as well. I dashed over and saw every popular game for both Super Nintendo as well as original NES and Sega Genesis. In the back corner, tucked away, I saw about 15 boxes containing Chrono Trigger. I decided to throw caution to the wind, went home, threw the cartridge into my system, and fell in love. The story is a bit slow to get into, but once it picked up, I was hooked.
