I was just a playing diamond, training in some place, and BAM! A shiny beldum appeared! I caught it, and now I am going to let it sit in mah pokemon box, and when I get the national dex in HeartGold, I will transfer it and it will forever be part of my pokemon team, and I was wondering, what shiny pokemon have you seen or caught? I have caught 2 so far: A shiny scyther in diamond and the shiny beldum, which will soon be a metagross once I get the national dex. So, how about you?

Current Shinies:

My first Shiny was probably a shiny oddish in Emerald and my second is the Red Gyrados in Crystal and my most recent one...shiny misdreavus in Soul Silver.

Well, I've caught a shiny Gyrados, a shiny Pidgey, and a shiny Poliwag. Well, all of them are pretty special moments to me.

My first and maybe last Shiny Pokemon was a Shiny Golbat. It was great when I had Shiny Crobat in my team, with other great pokemons. It also learned great and fierce, powerful moves.

Shiny Tentacruel. I didn't know what it was at first, thought it was a glitch and then I remembered asking what shinies were. It's my only one so far.

I've never seen or caught a shiny, BUT I will relate to you an interesting story from my days on Pokemon Silver.

See, I know Sentret is in general a pretty useless Pokemon (it's a freaking squirrel :p), but there was one Sentret I always made a point of catching in Silver version. The grasslands directly outside of the starting town would always have one Sentret with an interesting quirk: every time I saw it it would perform an animation. I think it was the animation for Flash. It wouldnt' attack, but before the battle started a big sparkle flew out of the sky, hit it, and caused it to glow. Then it would act normally. After catching it, it would continue to act that way. However, no other Sentrets would display this behavior after it had been caught. I've been told that no one's ever seen that kind of thing before, so it's probably a cartridge quirk. I used to name him Flash. I miss that Sentret. I need to find my Silver version cartridge.

I'v caught three shinyes in my life. I caught a shiny metapod when i was like 7 in the orginal gold, which eventually evolved into a totally awesome butterfree. I also caught a shiny ratatta when i restarted gold rescently. I also caught my shiny metacham in my sapphire, which only took me 246 hours to find.

I'm pretty sure you found yourself a shiny Sentret.

The first shiny I caught, not counting the red Gyarados from G/S/C, was a shiny Meditite from Sapphire. At that time I didn't know there were such things called shiny Pokemon, but I caught it anyway because I thought for sure Meditite were supposed to be blue, not red. Then in Leaf Green I caught a shiny Gastly. Then I went years before seeing anymore until I played Emerald again and a couple of weeks ago I caught a shiny Zubat, which is now a shiny (pink) Crobat.

Just in Pokemon Sapphire I remember catching:

A gold geodude
A pink nidorina
An orange graveler
And a green ho-oh. (no kidding)

Sadly, about two weeks after I've caught all these I gave the game back to my cousin, the original owner Lol. He and his two brothers lost somewhere in their house.

Ooh! That is some tough irony!

Well, I have caught a few shiny Pokemon.
I have caught a shiny(silver/gray, I think) krabby in Silver version.
I have caught a shiny(pink with lipstick ) wobuffet
in Diamond version.
I have caught a shiny(gold) Bidoof in Pokemon Platinum.

Also: RIP: shiny Krabby, lost forever until I found the game
and discovered it was broken.

You know, what, I'm getting my Pokemon Diamond and getting a shiny right now

i have never caught a shiny and i've played all the games for hours
never even seen one!! ugh

All I have caught is a shiny pidgey in leaf green, but I saw a shiny absol in emerald. I had no pokeballs then though.

Red Gyarados in Crystal,ShinyGold and HeartGold
Green Remoraid in Leafgreen
Gold Geodude in Platinum

There was a Gold Geodude, ignored because of my lack of Pokeballs. Game= SoulSilver.
There was a Level 100 Electivire traded to me for my Level 42 Rapidash. -Diamond.
There was a Lunatone Level 4, also via trade.-Diamond.
I just got a shiny Ratatta in this site's LeafGreen! 4/22/10.
That's all I got, besides hacking for all shinies on Diamond.

I had a shiny Garrados (Yeah, I know, misspelling...) and a shiny Zubat.
Lame, I know.

Shiny Pokemon


It's on page 5. It even has the same title.

I found a shiny noctowl in HG and caught it with a masterball so it couldn't use a flee- ing atacklike whirlwind.
I also caught a red gyarados in HG but that doesn't count cause there's always only 1 in it, but I found a red gyarados in FR, I didn't catch it cause I didn't know about shinies, and after I found out it was one, I spent 3 DAYS looking for another one, but never found it.
