Bio:
Lycanroc is the evolved form of Rockruff. It is a Rock type Pokemon based on a dog. It evolves at level 25 and can become one of three forms.

In Pokemon Sun and Moon, Lycanroc only had two forms. When leveled up during the day, it would evolve into its Midday form. This form of Lycanroc is faster and uses agility based attacks, such as its signature Accelerock (think a rock type Quick Attack). When leveled up at night, the player would obtain the Midnight form of Lycanroc. This form is bipedal and uses more hand to hand combat focused moves like Cross Chop and Counter. It is also a bit slower, while gaining some bulk.

In Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, a Rockruff was distributed that had the unique ability Own Tempo, an ability Rockruff normally does not get. When leveling this Rockruff during the evening specifically, the player will obtain a special form of Lycanroc called Dusk Form. This form takes on some of the specialties of both the other forms, and is considered the strongest of the three.

Lycanroc returned in both Sword and Shield, albeit in the DLC, and in Scarlet and Violet.

Description:
Midday Form: Its quick movements confuse its enemies. Well equipped with claws and fangs, it also uses the sharp rocks in its mane as weapons.

Midnight Form: It goads its enemies into attacking, withstands the hits, and in return, delivers a headbutt, crushing their bones with its rocky mane.

Dusk Form: Bathed in the setting sun of evening, Lycanroc has undergone a special kind of evolution. An intense fighting spirit underlies its calmness.
