It's getting nicer here actually... I think we're past the brunt of the heat wave and are starting to cool off. It was nice to go out and get the mail a little earlier today and not feel like I just walked into a microwave. If I can hit a certain post count (undecided) by the time I clock out of work I may take a 2-3 hour break to take a walk, shower and then eat some dinner. It'll be nice!

We are finishing July with a new wave of scorching heat. The humidity isn't helping at all and to put matters worse, no air is circulating. The feeling of melting down is very real, so basically we're setting things for August to start right away at the peak of its powers.

We're always searching for the shadows to avoid the merciless sun because at the peak hours (12 PM to 4 PM) it's almost unbearable out there. I'd sincerely try to see if we can fry an egg just by using sun heating, I'm positive we actually could.

Short version: we have reached the time of year where I complain about how cold my bedroom is no matter how many layers or how warm my clothes are

We've been having a week full of rain and extreme humidity. And it seems the weekend will be just like that too.

We do feel temperatures have gone down a bit, but the high humidity neutralizes that and we still sweat in freaking October. Short sleeves with no jacket are still the trend, just that an umbrella is a nice addition to take cover from the almost ever-falling rain.

I only wish that after this episode, which hopefully will finish soon, we do have colder temperatures, because if the cold hits us all of a sudden it's gonna kill me for real.

Its been....fine recently. Pretty hot. The summer has been very long and we have had a lot of days in the mid 90s for a while now. Last week I believe it was, we got down into the 50s and 60s, but we are back in the high 80s this week.

Not much rain either, only when temperatures dropped. Its pretty out, but I would really rather it be a bit cooler, and we do need a bit of rain. I am hoping it cools down more now that it is October, but I won't get my hopes up.

At least I don't live in South Alabama anymore lol, it was hot there year round pretty much.

The weather has finally been stable enough that I've been able to go on my wandering walks after work more often without melting onto the pavement. In fairness, it's been cool enough for that for a while... and then shortly after that, came the 70% chance it rained every day lol. But now the rain has calmed down and it's a bit more often, usually every day I don't see an obvious foreboding thunder cloud in the sky, that I have the liberty of choice to not HAVE to go to the gym to feel "productive" for the day health-wise... my walks are usually like 4-5 miles in length before I decide to "wander" back home. I don't really run or jog a lot of the time, so sudden shifts in weather like rain or extensive periods of heat demotivate me considering going outside and getting some fresh air for an hour or two is by far my preference for getting steps in.

We're just enduring the most severe thunderstorm in more than a century. The city is nearly entirely flooded as well as the neighboring ones, streets are now streams of water, the underground is now underwater... And it could still go worse than this, after the alerts of this week and what's predicted for the next.

At 7 PM the rain started, and it was soon followed by heavy lightning and thunder. Three hours later the lightning stopped but the rain persists, only now that is 2:15 AM as I'm posting this do we have some kind of break where it's only light rain.

Our terrace was near its limit, with the water reaching up to our ankles. With the decrease in intensity it seems the problems are now much more under control, but still we're worried the heavens open up once again.

We'll try to get some sleep now that conditions are much calmer. The alert lasts until 2 PM tomorrow, so we'll see how things progress and how does next week start for everyone who must go to work in case not all kinds of transport are restored.

Today was...something. We had a bit of a storm, not terrible though but it was consistently raining most of the day. It has cooled down a bit, which was nice, but no sun all day was kind of lame. I rely on sunlight a lot during the day since I don't like turning on my overhead lights during the day.

Tomorrow is looking like a lot of the same, a bit of cold and some rain, but its looking a bit warmer and maybe a bit more sunshine.

I don't even know. It did rain, but it has been sunny, and 70 degrees. Not sure why the weather has been so... normal

Sunday was a free day where the river almost overflowed due to the rain that fell during the whole night. Luckily there's plenty of space in the river flow so even with the gigantic stream it could be contained somewhat. And then comes Monday, where more rain hits us and for some time with severe intensity.

The underground network had several issues, so buses and streets were overcrowded under the pouring rain. At the office we even had two attempts at a blackout, though luckily it resisted and we had no further issue. During the afternoon, the skies cleared and the sun shone for a while, and right now the night seems calm and chilly. However, the morning rain has had an after effect because the river is once more fully loaded.

Tomorrow we're expected to have severe thunderstorms during the afternoon and night, so we'll be back at it once more. Saturday was a record-setting downpour, we never had that many rain during a single day (and it didn't rain the whole day, that's the level we're talking about), and we'll see if tomorrow falls any short of that.

And hopefully my home will resist. Saturday pushed it to its very limit and tomorrow I'll be away at work, so we'll see if I can manage to return safely and we can overcome this second-to-last episode of storms (or at least should be the second-to-last, time will tell if nature has other plans).

Surprisingly it's nice out today and it's going to be even nicer out tomorrow so last chance for the capris and the sleeveless shirts to come out and be used because after this week Fall will truly kick in

Was cold today, in the 40s, on the weekend it is gonna be in the mid 80s though. Maybe I'll go outside and bike when it is warm out, but the cold is nice for biking too.

It was hot out today even though the weather app showed only 60 degrees.

The weather was actually pretty nice today. It was a bit chilly in the morning, but once the sun came out it heated up to a nice 70 or so. It was pretty sunny all day as well which was nice.

I didn't spend much time outside today, I had to be at the office for most of the day, but for the maybe half hour outside it was pretty nice.

Around 70 degrees, feels normal, apparently a hurricane down south is so strong we'll be affected.

It's been cloudy and rainy ever since yesterday afternoon. We had an alert for potential thunderstorms, but in the end it was just a decent amount of rain at around 9 PM.

Today we woke up with slight rain and from 12PM or so the rain stopped, despite the forecast stating it would rain all day. It's been grey and cloudy all day, and temperatures have dropped a lot signalling we're finally into Autumn.

We're expected to receive rain the next couple of days too, so we'll see how they turn out. We've had like a handful of alerts already for thunderstorms, let's hope we don't add more and just get relatively bad weather.

The weather is absolutely beautiful right now. The weather at the end of October and beginning of November in Florida is perfect. High 70s/low 80s during the day, high 60s at night, sunny, light breeze, no rain, low humidity. It makes the high temperatures and daily thunderstorms in August worth it.
