The weather here in Illinois can not make up its stupid mind. One hour its cold. Next thing you know its warm. Then it will be cold all day. Next day is warm all day. Halfway through the next day, its freezing cold again! Then it starts snowing! I'm over here like, WHAT!?!?

We just had a two hour series of thunderstorms rip through the state between 3:00am and onward. My dog wasn't very happy and my 3 year old woke up and wasn't very happy either. Usually my kid likes the thunder and lightning but it was a different story last night. So now I'm bleary eyed from rubbing her back and keeping her calm. It was cute that the dog tried coming into the room and they comforted each other.

Rain. And 40 degrees. And more rain. That's what we're getting right now.

The weather has been horrible today, and it's not even raining or cloudy or anything.

It's INCREDIBLY WINDY.

I got woken up early in the morning to go outside and dismantle large structures in our yard or else they were going to blow away and even though they are heavy, it was so hard to keep them pinned down. Never been outside in such strong winds before.

About half an hour after I went back in I looked at the weather websites to see that the wind had calmed down to 34 MPH, which means that if it calmed down to that, it was stronger than that when I was out.
The weather has been horrible today, and it's not even raining or cloudy or anything.
