Hi guys so.....when I went to a church event and took my wii I considered to get back on playing it. Since I have not played it for quite a number of years. I have some wii games such as, Mario And sonic at the Olympic Games 2008, The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario And Sonic At The Winter Olympic Games, Super Mario Bros, Sonic And The Black Knight, a new game called Max And The Magic Marker, Wii Sports Resort, another game that will come in tomorrow called Exerbeat And Spyro. I would like to play more I don't mind platform games, but I am morely going for RPG ones if I can find any. Anyways would you be so kind as to help me please? I will say this please don't say of anything that is smash bros. I don't dislike the game, but its not really something for me I would play so there wouldn't be a reason for me to buy it. I'm thinking of getting Mario Galaxy considering somehow I still remember the trailer, for that game many years ago when it first came out. Anyways any help from anyone is much appreciated. ^-^

Well, it's not exactly an RPG, but my brother seems to get a kick out of Monster Hunter Tri. I never really bothered to play it, since I usually stick to my PS3, but from what I hear it's good. There's also Xenoblade chronicles, I hear that's fun. There's also Metroid prime, though the collection on Wii is pretty expensive, so I only have Prime 3.

Hope this helps a bit.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.
I'd also Recommend Mario Kart WII, it's the best selling mario kart game of all time for a reason.
Punch out for the WII is a fairly good boxing game.

IF you have a classic controller, and are into fighting games I can strongly recommend Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

Not sure if there's any more good titles off of that I Can remember.

I heard fling smash was a pretty decent WII game, but I've personally never played it.

Eniitan : Super Mario Galaxy 2 was my favorite game for a long time. Maybe still is. Either game in the series is an excellent choice. Skyward Sword is my favorite Zelda game, largely due to the excellently implemented motion controls (although some disagree with me). Super Paper Mario is an excellent blend of RPG and Platformer. Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure is a brilliant puzzle game that makes good use of the Wii remote. It can be very difficult at times. A lot of people despised Metroid: Other M for being a departure from the Prime series, but it is a good game. I snagged a new copy for $5, and I'm not sure what copies are going for now, but that might be a good option.

Also, if you have a controller you can use for Virtual Console (such as a Pro controller or a Gamecube controller), I might suggest Paper Mario, Chrono Trigger, and Super Mario RPG. You may find many RPGs are very expensive, though. Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, Metroid Prime Trilogy and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn were at high price points last time I checked. As was suggested by Spidey, you may be able to find Monster Hunter Tri for a reasonable price (Gamestops in the US carry it for about $5).

But a tip, if you ever get a Wii U, you can find many Wii games on the Virtual Console service.

Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. Note though that this game is a sequel to the Gamecube game Path of Radiance. So, you'll need to play that first.

Well, eni, do you like Zelda games? If you do, i would suggest getting Zelda: skyward sword, it's a really fun game, in my opinion, but you have to use motion controls, like shaking the wii remote alot, but if you don't mind that part, i really suggest getting it.

Eniitan :

Yeah it was on the WII.   It's the last game in the series and takes a lot of Elements and stuff from Super Punch out and the NES original.
It supports a WIi-mote plus nunchuck control method,  and the Classic NES like controls(Basically you'd hold the WII mote sideways, use the d-pad and 1-2 buttons.)
It's also the only game in The Punch out series to have a Two Player Versus mode.

Since gameplay videos on youtube would spoil the game, here's a little screenshot of what the WII version looks like:

SuperCrash64 : I never played the rgr version, but I heard its a good game to play. I did at some points see David stream it with other people. It was so funny to see, because of how the gameplay was. I have a feeling I can get into this game.

Plus I need like to reduce fat from my arms, its not nice so this will really help with that.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are absolutely amazing, it's definitely a must have for the Wii. I would also recommend Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Punch Out Wii, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Xenoblade Chronicles, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and Super Paper Mario are a lot of fun! A lot of those were my favorite games when I played them, and most of them are still some of my favorites that I go back to now and then.

You should play Zack and Wiki. In fact, everyone should play it.
Its kinda like a point and click adventure game but uses the motion controller to solve puzzles.

Well, judging from your list, I'm sure you will include Mario & Sonic at the 2012 Olympics. I heard good news about it back in time, so if it's not very similar to the 2008 version then it needs a try.

Another game I heard good about was Pokemon Battle Revolution. It is said to inherit the spirit of Pokemon Stadium, and we all know how good those games were back in the N64 era. With four generations available and a lot of new mechanics, I'm sure this game can be a blast.

Mario Strikers Charged can also be given a try. I honestly liked more the Gamecube prequel, but I have to admit I was never fond of the controls of any Wii games, so that may have played a big role. I still recommend trying out any of those two, they mean a big twist to the real sport.

Those are the easy ones off the top of my head. I'll make a little search for other games I may be missing and be back to share them with you.

A user of this : user I've already listed twilight princess I have the game. The rest of the others I'll look into the ones that have not been mentioned.

Vanelan : Hmm that's a rather usual suggestion but, I am always open minded I'll have a look at this game it sounds pretty interesting. Thank you also for your suggestion.

EX Palen : Yeah....I was meant to get them as in Mario and sonic at the 2012 Olympics, but due to battery problems I stopped. So game I should had brought then I don't have now. I do plan on getting the newer versions of them. Thanks for reminding me of that. And pokemon battle revolution huh? Haven't heard of it, but its something I would play. Thanks for your suggestions as well. ^^

I do plan on getting the newer versions of them. Thanks for reminding me of that. And pokemon battle revolution huh? Haven't heard of it, but its something I would play. Thanks for your suggestions as well. ^^

I don't have a lot of Wii games myself, there weren't a lot of games for that system that called to me but one of my favorites that I'd recommend is Harvest Moon: Animal Parade. If you've played any of the Harvest Moon titles, then I think you'll like it. Another recommendation I have is a game I do not own (yet), but have watched a let's play of is called Fragile Dreams: farewell Ruins of the Moon. It looks really nice! I haven't looked anything about this part up, but I also believe that the people that worked on Eternal Sonata worked on it? Or at the very least it does have the same graphical style, or at least it looked very similar to me.

Another one I haven't played, but I have at least played the prequel, is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers. I've only played the first Crystal Chronicles for the game cube, as well as one of the DS titles and have not even seen any videos of Crystal bearers, so I don't know what it's like exactly. Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of time, which is the one I have for the DS, has a Wii title, but I'd only recommend getting that if you have friends that will play with you, as some of the puzzles can be down right difficult to do with just one person.

There's also the Wii version for Okami. I have the original PS2 version and a copy of the one for the Wii, and it's a super fun game.

I would recommend Warioware Smooth Moves from the original Wii if you like funny and wacky games.
It is a fun game to play for both single player and multiplayer. It involves motion controls and sensor alignments. I've played this game during a friend's party and it was so much fun to play with its fast pace and timing in order to win. Now I am a proud owner of this game.

Gothika : I've heard of some which was the final fantasy games. I tried getting it on the wii shop didn't have enough wii points so I can try, and get it when I can thanks for the reminder. I'm not so sure about harvest moon I'll see into that one. As for Okami I have never heard of that one....but it doesn't hurt to try and see what its about thanks for the suggestions.

ghostfishy : Oh that sounds....rather interesting, I'll look it up then give you my thoughts about it soon. ^^

I'd definitely recommend No More Heroes 1 and 2. There's nothing else like them on the system and they're fantastic games.

taterii : Wow thanks a lot for the suggestion I'll put it down with the others. It sounds interesting to play so I can't wait to see what adventures wait for me on the game!
