Rasen: Apparently my wife has an appointment tomorrow which I didn't know about until earlier today. I'll be going with her, basically they'll let us hear the heart beat and they do a few other things. Hearing the heart beat is going to be incredibly exciting though because right now there hasn't been any physically noticeable signs of her (hasn't gained any weight yet) so hearing the heartbeat will be a nice first step into the 2nd trimester.

my mom told me that when she was pregnant with me she only wanted to eat taco bell taco's with peanut butter on them and ice cream with pickle juice,which is a strange but good combo.

Also that is weird that your wife is not gaining weight in the second trimester, but I'm sure that your doctor mentioned that it happens to some women and they end up just fine.
