R is for Rurouni Kenshin.
It tells the story of a peaceful wanderer named Himura Kenshin, formerly known as the assassin "Hitokiri Battôsai".

This one is a great anime

S is for Samurai Jack.

I used to watch it on Cartoon Network and it was listed as a show on AnimeFreak.tv, so I think it counts.

A samurai was sent to the future by a "shapeshifting master of darkness." In the future, the evil guy has already conquered the world. Now Jack, the samurai, wants to go back in time to kill the guy.

Up to about 0:43 is the storyline half of the opening. After that is just the intro music.

U is for Usagi Yojimbo: Yokai
A desperate woman begs for his help in finding her kidnapped husband. Tracing the abducted man to an old castle, Usagi finds the ruins haunted by creatures of Japanese legend and discovers that they are amassing for a great raid on the countryside. Fortunately, Usagi is joined by Sasuke the Demon Queller, who is also fighting to prevent the invasion, but things aren't always as they seem, especially when dealing with the supernatural

V is for Vampire Knight! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this anime so much! I recommend this to anyone. This is about a school which lets both humans and vampires attend. The vampires are the night class, while the humans are in the day class. There's this one girl named Yuuki and this guy named Zero who are the guardians. They are the only ones who know about the night class's secret. Zero hates vampires so much because they killed his family and Yuuki, well I'm going to stop spoiling now lol.



I certainly recommend this anime!

W is for When They Cry 2

It is the year 1983; and in the village of Hinamizawa, on the night of the cotton drifting festival and in the days following it, a series of deaths occurs. The only hope for the village and its inhabitants is the shrine maiden Furude Rika who, with the help of her invisible partner Hanyuu, is able to travel back in time and alter the events that led to disaster. Unfortunately, regardless of what changes are made, each voyage ultimately ends with the death of Rika and many of her friends. But when Rika’s friends start remembering things that happened to them in previous worlds and take steps to avoid the same outcomes, Rika realizes that their chances of survival have never been better. Can she really challenge and defeat fate itself?

A really amazing show.

It's one of the manga, I'm planning to read in the near future.

B is for Bleach. I started watching the dubs near the end of the Bount arc and I love it. Now I've watched every dub and continue to watch it weekly. I will not watch subbed episodes.

It is about nine regular humans kidnapped by the evil Black Ghost organization to be experimeted on. The result of this are nine cyborgs, each one having super human powers. The nine cyborgs band together to fight for their freedom and to stop Black Ghost from their goal of starting the next world war, by supplying anyone with the money to purchase their countless weapons of war and mass destruction.




and D is for one of the greatest manga ever made - Death Note
Light Yagami is a student who found a strange notebook with the title "Death Note" lying on the ground one day. It wasn't until later that he realized that this "Death Note" was the tool of a shinigami (god of death in Japanese) from another world named Ryuk, and that it had the power to kill whoever's name was written on its pages, so long as the writer knew the victim's face as well.

E is for Evangelion

In the future, a devastating event known as Second Impact destroyed Tokyo as we know it, giving rise to the current day Tokyo III, a city under siege by mysterious lifeforms known only as Angels. A really cute anime about a girl who discovers one of her classmates, and eventually his family, transforms into one of the animal of the chinese zodiac. A real good watch.
