So, Final Fantasy XIII has just been released on Steam, did anybody either get it already or plans on getting this version? I am a fan of the series now, so I do plan on getting it sometime next month maybe.

The game costs $16 on Steam and members of Green Man Gaming get a small discount with a voucher on the site.

It's a decent port, actually, and includes the original Japanese audio. The lack of ability to change the resolution settings is infuriating to some, but not a problem to me. It's locked at 780p. My biggest gripe is not with that, but with the instructions. Any instructions involving buttons will still refer to the keyboard, even if you're using a controller. However, it runs quite smoothly, even on the half-decent computer we have. This computer can run most anything, but usually requires lower settings for higher-quality games. This is one occasion that I'm thankful that the file size was so big. The port isn't as lazy as some people make it out to be. But I'm hoping SE does better for FF XIII-2 and Lightning Returns.
