I have not played Pokémon for some time. I was wondering with all the games and hacks for Pokémon if anyone could give me some suggestions on which ones I should start with or if there is a certain order. For example if one Pokémon game includes all the stuff from 3 previous ones I would rather play that one then the 3 previous ones. I look forward to reading every ones suggestions.

With hacks I would play the ones with the highest rating. If you want to be able to beat the game, stay away from betas. There are tons of Pokemon hacks and it seems new ones are added every day, I really don't know what you are looking for in a good hack so all I can say is take a look through and see which one catches your eye.

If I had to pick what game to play first I would start with Red or Blue then go to Yellow and so on. 

If you let me know what you are looking for in a hack I will see if I can't find a good one for you.

Pokemon games in general start by one generation or they sometimes mix them a little. Even if you do play a Pokemon game, you won't be out of order anyway because each game basically has their own storyline so you won't be out of place in the games if you start from a later game.

I would recommend:
-Pokemon Flora Sky (a hack that contains Pokemon from all 5 generations) 
-Pokemon Rebirth (you can get starters in the beginning of the game and this contains Pokemon from the first 3 generations)
-Pokemon Leaf Green Catch Em All (only contains the first generation but you can catch all of them in the hack)
