It depends on what is going on. If your team is trying their hardest and still makes some mistakes, then I do not think you need to boo at them at all. However, if the team is playing unfair, being rude to the other team, or is showing bad sportsmanship, then you should boo at them.

Yes, its okay to boo your favorite team. I have done it several times. Usually when it seems the players just want to lose or the managers are not doing their jobs. There was a time two years ago the Colorado Rockies were well just horrible. The players seemed to just quit, the manager did not do anything. So yes its okay to boo your team when they deserve it

I do not believe you should speak negatively about your team no matter what. It is constantly great to remain positively. The only time period it is okay to speak negative about your team is if they have terrible sportsmanship. I think you should always support them. I don't really know why you would boo your own team if you support them and all. I guess maybe if they deserve it if they started a fight or intentionally injured another player but other than that if it's because they didn't score a goal or accidentally got a foul in some sport then it's not really a thing that should you should be booing. They're trying their best.
