I'm currently trying to figure out the simplest way for me to permanently remove my nose from my face so I don't have to suffer this awful congestion any longer.

In all seriousness though, I'm trying to figure out what I can do to alleviate my congestion before I turn in for the night. Today's been the worst so far and if I continue blowing my nose, I'll end up looking like the Red Skull.

Maybe I'll try making chamomile tea again. It only provides temporary relief, but I'll take what I can get at this point.

Right now, I'm getting ready to load the trunk of my car up with a few bags of old coats from the hallway closet that no one's worn in forever and no longer fit anyway, so they're better off at Goodwill instead of taking up valuable real estate in our closet lol. After I take care of this, I'm probably going to read or game for an hour or two before I attempt to go to bed for the night.

I'm currently at home waiting on roadside assistance to come by and jump-start one of our cars that hasn't been driven in a few days. Thankfully the battery isn't dead because the battery light didn't come on. Once it's up and running, I'm planning to take it to the auto store I bought the battery from to get it swapped for a new one since it's still covered by the warranty.

I'll also probably look into getting a portable jump starter/battery charger because I think it'll be a handy thing to have in case this happens during the cold months again.

Right now, I'm wrapping up a Zoom meeting that covered about 2.5 hours of information. Thankfully, I didn't have to have my camera or microphone on and was able to type any questions I had through the chat. I've used Zoom several times in the past, yet for some reason, it never fails to make me nervous when it comes to un-muting myself to talk or turning the camera on when I was taking a testat home. Nothing is worse than being on camera, but thankfully, I didn't have to do either one for this meeting lol.

I'm making a few final posts for the night while folding and putting away my laundry. Right after I took my laundry out of the dryer and dumped it into my bed, I rested my head on it and almost immediately started dozing off. The warmth combined with the pleasant lavender scent of the dryer sheet make for a very cozy sensation, especially now, when it's 10° and windy outside.

At the moment, I'm about to start preparing for the snow we're expecting tomorrow morning. My preparations include putting windshield and sideview mirror covers on the cars, salting the driveway, and making sure the snow shovels and broom are by the foyer for tomorrow. I can't imagine we'll get much, but I said the felt the same way about the last storm and ended up surprised at the amount, so we'll see I guess.
