Well, my favorite PS1 games are:
1-Resident evil 2(because it scared me over 5 times  although I watch horror movies and it was more difficult than resident evil director's cut).

Symphony of the night by far, it did all the things i like in games in the same spot, exploring, leveling, collecting, upgrading, finding tricks, great boss battles, good music, etc.. i'm sure most of us know about the game  To me it is the last good console castlevania game.
