I recently came across RPGM 2000 and I find it to be an awesome program because it gives those of us without any prior programming knowledge to create and customize our own games any way we see fit.

I agree. I got 2003 off this board, and I like it more than 2000. I also downloaded XP, but I dont like it much.

The rest might be good and all but I think that a good practice for programming would be to use RPG Maker 2000 becuase it is already confusing as it is and all you do is master that and the rest will rock v

rm2k3 is a waste of memory. trust me on this one, (ull spend more time on getting your battle chars and battle weapons right, then you do axually makin the game...)

That's is very agreeable, unless you are making a game you are going to take your time on, and have people be willing to pay for it, then that would be a good idea, even though my friend is making Adreniline Fusion, and he's going to make people pay for the full version is they are willing to, he's really good he even made up his own system, NOT IN TUTORIALS, he won't even teach me how he did it, but it ROCKS with a capital R-O-C-K-S. so use 2000
