I think they should make a TV show of Pokemon geared toward older audience and make it in 3D, that would be awesome.
Take the Transformers movie approach, the original show was geared toward kids but the movie is geared towards adults. I think if they did something like that with Pokemon it'd, especially made it into 3D, that'd be pretty interesting.

You guys (mainly ziggy) also most likely didn't grow up watching the cartoon, the movie was sorta geared towards people in their 20's since that was the generation who grew up watching it. Same applies for Pokemon, those who grew up watching it might appreciate a movie years from now.
Same goes for GIJoe, their currently making a movie on that but again, it'll be geared toward people in their 20's.

i grew up with G1 TF and i have to say that while i still enjoy those old cartoons even now i found the movie somewhat.... lacking....

The old Pokemon show was awesome. It was simple, with only 151 of them, and the dubbing wasn't as horrendous as it is now.... Trust me, the dubbing now is way worse than the old series.

I agreed with almost everyone in this thread, the 1st Season was by far the best. Same doesn't apply for the games though, they're still awesome, same with the card game, just the cartoon I stopped following years ago but I'd have no problem watching the 1st season again.

Never got into the cartoon, somewhat into the cards, but my parents never approved. But, I think the game was always the most fun. The game never got old, you could always start with different pokemon, catching some, raising them. I could never catch many in the safari zone, that always pissed me off.
