I like hd better than sd. HD is really clear and everything look so much better than SD. That is why HD tvs cost so much more becuase everything is so clear and you can watch your favorite shows in 16:3 when they were not in HD in the SD tv..

I like HD because it is just so much sharper and cleared than just standard definition. Especially in movies like avatar for example, it just looks amazing on the flat screen in the living room. 



The only dumb thing is any recordings of shows in HD aren't supported by my dvr which really sucks. I am going to have to get that upgraded sometime though. But when it comes down to it, I just think that HD is better than SD and I can't really see a reason why anyone would like sd over it. Good question!

I am not spoiled or into any improvements made with technology i recent years, but High Definition is one of the few things I praise. It's so beutifaul XD! But seriously, the sight of anything 240p or lower is something I simply can not watch XD!

To me high def is not all that I don't care all that much on how something look. Plus not gonna spend an arm and leg for high def, I'm thrifty thank my mother for that.

I'm going to ask the question, do you think it's worth the effort to wait a few hours before watching an HD TV show versus the (almost) instantaneous buffering time for standard TV?

Of course, I've had incredibly experiences watching HD. I would only care about it, if it's Sherlock or Psych. The former because the episodes come out rarely and the latter because it's on the final season. 

I also wait for the Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, since every small detail is micro-managed and I like to see the work in it's entirety. 

For other shows, I could care less. I watch for the stories and prefer Standard so I can power through a season without waiting for buffering.
