My desktop is a complete mess well while it being a mess is mostly my mess it's my grandparents computer really so some of the stuff I have no idea what it is or does the picture of me with red eyes bothers me but I'm not allowed to change it. It's still a mess even after cleaning it up a bit so what can you do I guess.

Here's what it looks like. Aside from the recycling bin and my girlfriend's Sims 4 folder, I keep my desktop really clean and prefer to use the buttons I've placed in the start menu. Left monitor is 4096x2160 and the right monitor is 1920x1080. Looks all crunched up in the picture but you get the vibe.
