Legends say that the Masamune in real life (I think Sephiroth's sword is called that as well) can absorb blood. That could explain why there was no blood on Aerith, or on the Masamune. "The game is old so it doesn't have blood" isn't an excuse, because Sephiroth's face at the end is covered in it. It could be possible to save her with a potion or a phoenix down because she wouldn't have died from blood loss. But I can't really think of a more creative way for it.

Sorry if this is kind of a spammy post... maybe I'll edit it later and add in some of my opinions.

I once read something about her staff. Keeping her staff and somehow using it to bring her back. I don't remember the whole thing though. I wish I could have gotten her back.

Question: Did anyone ever use her after finding out she dies anyway?

You are referring to the times other than the ancient temple where you HAVE to take her, and from the long fall after blowing up the 2nd reactor and getting to the pillar where she leaves to go watch Marlene right? I know those are the only times I use her. I like the character, but didn't like the limits, my favs to use are Cloud, Barret(who I always name Bubba[just looks like a Bubba to me]), and a toss up between Tifa, and Vincent for the third slot.

For a long time i was told that before you went into the crater if you went to Nibelheim and looked into vincents coffin you'd find a pearl and if you took that pearl to Bone village one of the villagers would tell you "something would be cleared" with that pearl in taking that pearl to the entrance of the city of ancients you could go down the rope again to where Aerith was killed by going down to the water one would receive the white materia allowing Aerith to be returned to life as a copy or clone as her spirit was needed in the Lifestream to battle Comet later on

I have an Idea to ressurect her. Use a max phoenix down, then Max life, then all the cure spells and Items in your Inventory until you run out of MP/ potions. If It does not work, use Cpr and mouth to mouth. If THAT does'nt work, torture Square until they change the proggraming and bring her back to life!

1. Start up the game as per usual
2. Break open your Playstation, and then place the disk in a Nintendo 64.
3. turn on the power
4. Press reset 3 times. Doing it a 4th time will erase your game
5. Take it out of the N64
6. Throw it to your dog
7. Spill ketchup on it... and your dog
8. Eat the CD
9. Wait till it digests then crap it out.
10. Put the game in your microwave

Here's a serious theory and a less serious theory
1.After Aries death lose to Sephiroth.
2.lose to the boss
3.After the games sudden auto save turn off the ps2
4.go back to the boss and defeat him
5.Aries will have disappeared
6.You will be transported to a new are and Aries will be stone
7. Break it and she'll be alive

Less serious way:
1. Write a death letter to Square Enix and tell them to stop making these sad games or else you will kill everyone in the company!

It's been a while since a post was made here, so I'll bump one of my favorite topics...

1. Go to the City of the Ancients
2. Leave.
3. Go back in.
4. Leave again.
5. Press pause... you should have the ability to save now.
6. Save.
7. Turn off the playstation one
8. Turn it back on.

How to bring Aerith back to life? Simple!:}

All life on Gaia is made up of the energy known as the Lifestream. (i think im stretching this....)  In the temple known as the Ancient's Temple, there is an ancient item that allows you to absorb fleeting lifestream energy.  And at the end, when you defeat Sephiroth, using this ancient item, absorb his fleeting energy before it is absorbed by Gaia.  Take that energy to the waters where Aerith's lifeless body resides, then empty out the contents of the magical item into the water. Wait.  After ten painful minutes of being patient, Aerith's, now warm body will surface from the water.  Go into the water, and grab her. Hold her within your arms, and she should awake.

And there you have brought Aerith back to life, yay!XD

1.   Save game after Aeris dies
2.   Put in Chrono Trigger, load the save file from FF7, and travel back to a long time ago.  Save game.
3.   Put in Dune, load the save file from Chrono Trigger, get a Guild Heighliner to carry you to a galaxy far, far away.  Save game.
4.   Put in Star Wars, load the save file from Dune.  Catch a Corellian transport to Kamino, and have them clone Aeris's body.  Then head for Coruscant, and head to the Jedi Temple, where the Force ghosts of departed Jedi hang out when they're not busy being cryptic, and Aeris's spirit will be there with Yoda, Obi Wan, and Anakin.  Add her to the party.  Save game.
5.   Put in Dune, load, catch the heighliner back to the original galaxy.  Save game.
6.   Put in Chrono Trigger, load, go forward in time.  Save game.
7.   Put in Master of Monsters, load, and go to a temple to merge the Aeris clone with the Aeris Force/Lifestream ghost.  Same game.
8.   Put in Final Fantasy 7, load, and add the newly restored Aeris back into your party.  After all that, REALLY same game.
8.5.   To be truly thorough, Level Aeris up to 90, get her ultimate weapon and all of her Limit Breaks, return to Coruscant via the previously stated method, and show Obi Wan someone who really did become "more powerful than you can possibly imagine" after getting struck down.

Well, first you need to kill the hermit in Kingdom of Loathing, and get the Triforce in Ocarina of Time...

To bring back Aerith all you need is to have everybody in you party die 666 times and you must have only died in boss battles, Aerith is the exception where she needs to die 665 times as the cutscene is her 666th time to die. before the cutscene you need to copy your file delete the original file, continue your copied file go to the cutscene and go to the nearest shop unequip everything and sell all that you have and then buy a phoenix down (you have to sell or throw the ones you had before hand) and go to the nearest save spot and save. then you drop the phoenix down and reset the moment you threw it away. You should make a copy of your file again and delete the copy of the original and bam Aerith is now back in your party.

1. Play game as normal.
2. Beat game.
3. Beat game again, but with Ultimate Weapon, Ruby Weapon, and Emerald Weapon defeated.
4. Beat the game a third time, with all characters at max level.
5. Save game and start a new game.
6. Before getting to the point where Aerith dies, save over the previous save data.
7. Play as normal. After Aerith dies and you defeat JENOVA again, a cut scene will happen where light will sudden flash all around Aerith and she will open her eyes, alive yet again.
8. She now joins your party at max level, with all limit breaks.

Whaddaya mean I can't use a Pheonix Down on her?
