Not sure if you heard, but there's a new type of device coming out called the playstation phone (xperia play). It does everything a smart phone/android phone does, plus it plays playstation type games. It has a hefty price tag on it costing between $700-$800. Do you think this will be the next big thing in the game/phone industry? Do you think it's worth buying and would you buy it? What is your opinion on this type of device?[img]

AS cool as it is, and I do support Sony, I don't think it will go over as well as the ipod touch, but I would love for it to be a good second contender.

If I were rich I would definitely make that my primary phone but since I'm no rich, there's no way I could ever justify paying that much for a cell phone, especially when I rarely use the one I currently have. I have a PSP which is nice for playing PSX and PSP games on the go.

I have an Iphone 3GS which I use for texting, calling, facebook apps and a few games like angry birds. I could see a few problems with that playstation phone.. the first being battery life, the second being the controls look so small. Maybe if it were more like $300?? :s
