Never had a ps3 , could get one now cuz its cheap . Im all xbox at the moment

I don't seriously know which video gaming console I prefer, mostly, out of these two suggestions. Although, if I was forced to choose one of these suggestions, I would prefer choosing the Playstation Three because I prefer the video games created for the Playstation Three. On top of my opinion, I don't seriously comprehend similar to functioning the controls on either video gaming system controllers. My skills are remotely away.

I used to have an xbox 360 until I sold it and upgraded to a ps3. I didn't really notice to much difference between them other PlayStation's impressive spec list and the controller,some people like the chunkiness of a xbox controller others enjoy a nice slim line ps3 controller.  I prefer ps3 to xbox but I think that's up to what type of controller you like

I have both consoles but I choose that the PS3 is better because it has free online play and it supports blu-ray discs.

I wonder how much difference blu ray quality is compared to just 1080p high definition on a regular dvd player... I've heard that the sound is a bit sharper, but other than that, not much difference. Any thoughts on this?

Duh, PS3 is better then Xbox and you know it! It's easier for me to play the game with the PS3 controller then the Xbox 360 controller. That's why

I had a 360 a while ago but it red ringed on me twice, then I bought a ps3. I personally like the ps3 better, it runs quieter, I like the controller better, and I like the exclusives better. 

Xbox 360 is best

I own both systems and they both have their pros and cons. However the cons definitely outweigh the pros for the Sony PlayStation 3, which really bugs me because of how much they cost.   The controllers are tiny for the PlayStation 3 system. I can't play any games competitive online with those controllers.   Also, just a theory out of experience with the online gaming with the PSN, it's mostly children that I bump into.
I mean, a lot of nine year olds are getting their game on via Sony Network.  I think it's because people rather play Free than pay like seven or eight dollars for xbox Live which is unfortunate because xbox Live offers so much more than the PSN. 

You can't have group chats while playing games with the PlayStation 3 like you could with the xbox Live.
I used to play Call of Duty: Black Ops while my buddies from school were still playing Modern Warfare 2, and with the xbox Live, we could still stay connected with each other and chat while they played their game together and I played mine.  It was so much easier to socialize and interact.     With the PlayStation 3, it is far more difficult and you would have to stop your game and start a live chat.  And what fun is chatting without being hyped up for some Search And Destroy?    


So yeah, xbox seems to be perfect and all, right?
Well, not even close.  The xbox System definitely doesn't outlast the PS3 in any sense.
When it comes to durability, the PlayStation 3 is here to stay.  
I've been a proud owner of an xbox 360 for the past four years and lo and behold, it's needed repair and replacements around every nine months.  The first time I've discovered the Red Ring, it was a year into my system but I had warranty, so they repaired it for free. After that, it would play well and all, but nine months later I would receive the Red Ring again.  And the repairs aren't really worth it but I refuse to abandon my friends.     The PlayStation was my last resort for gaming.  


However with the PS3, you were able to watch Blu Ray DVDs on it, which is a mega plus plus!  
I'm a movie buff, guru, and or fanatic, and I buy and watch a lot of movies, mainly Blu Rays, with the PS3, I don't need another DVD player for a hundred or some odd dollars.  Watching movies on the PS3 is the bonus. The free live is more of a drawback than it is a bonus.  It's all filled with children and the connectivity is poor.  xbox Live players get a better quality gaming experience.


I would definitely say, if you want an enjoyable gaming experience, xbox is the way to go.
For an Entertainment system, PlayStation 3 hands down.  Blu Ray DVDS, and free live.

Both of them has its flaws. But I'd have to say Xbox 360. I grew up with Xbox.

Xbox 360 ! Why ? Because having parties with your friends " while " playing
the game is always fun ( It doesn't have to be the same one like for PS3 ). If
you know how to talk to people   Also !!! There are more games for the
360 that I want to play than the PS3.

Xbox, because it's way better at gaming. The online experience is f***ing amazing. The PS3 online is laggy and it sucks. Xbox is way better

I have an xbox 360 and it has a bigger selection of games and genres. while its has lesser graphics than the ps3,  the ps3 has so much hardware that gives it the graphics it has, that it breaks easily,  but they fixed most of that and the rrod on the 360.  Most of it depends on do you want halo or not and do you want good online.

3. Better GPU - The PS3's GPU is a 224 MB 600mhz Graphics card. Xbox has

a 512 800mhz graphics card, making games that have better graphics run

faster. With that said PS3's CPU is a 2.8 GHZ while Box's is 2.6GHZ,

both being  3-core. .2GHz makes really no deference at all (2 FPs at

most)





4. Better games - COD on Xbox gets the Map packs first and Xbox has

better exclusives like Halo, Gears Of War, Forza, Fable, Alan Wake

ect...





5. Online services - Netflix, Hulu, Facebook, Twitter.





6. App support - With Windows Phones you get a Xbox Live app, where you

can gain Gamer Score with the games you download from the marketplace.

Games like Halo: Reach get a free Halo Waypoint app that's for Windows

Phone, Android, and iOS.





If you like to hack get a PS3 If you like to have fun gaming get an Xbox.

Well i had a p1 and ps2, but for some reason i could never get into the ps3? So yeah i personally am more of an Xbox fan.

I don't have an Xbox 360 or a PlayStation 3, But I prefer the Play Station 3, because it's more powerful and the console got better graphics,ect.

I would like to have a Play Station 3, But probably I will not have one, because I PREFER retro consoles.

The Play Station 3 can be compatible with Play Station games and Play Station 2 games. That's great. Too bad the next Play Station will not be compatible with Play Station 3 games.

Play Station 3 got great games, like Little Big Planet, Gran Turismo,ect. 

I'm sure that when the Wii U will come, the Play Station will be always popular. Well in my opinion, the Play Station 3 is better.
