When I was sixteen, I moved out of my mom's house and in with my girlfriend. I lived right down the road. When I turned seventeen and graduated high school, I joined the Navy. I left Florida for Illinois for 9 weeks, then to Dam Neck, Virginia for 5 months, then back to Florida when I was stationed in Jacksonville.

Partly because I'm still too young to leave the house, and I enjoy living with my family and they love me, so I have no reason to leave at all. I have a decent allowance so there's no need for part time jobs.

I started working since I was in high school....then eventually left my moms house around the age 18. I rented a small place and slowly worked my way up to a house that I live in now. I think a man should be out of their parents house by 18, but that's just me.

I moved out when I was 24, though I honestly wasn't home all that much in the years leading up to it. My boyfriend (now fiance) and I got our own place, and now we have moved to the other side of the country... and are ironically living with his mom. We plan to get our own house later when we get the money, but the move and saving for the wedding come first.
