When I was sixteen, I moved out of my mom's house and in with my girlfriend. I lived right down the road. When I turned seventeen and graduated high school, I joined the Navy. I left Florida for Illinois for 9 weeks, then to Dam Neck, Virginia for 5 months, then back to Florida when I was stationed in Jacksonville.

Partly because I'm still too young to leave the house, and I enjoy living with my family and they love me, so I have no reason to leave at all. I have a decent allowance so there's no need for part time jobs.

I've never got a boyfriend and still a virgin (because I'm not interested with male-female relationship at this point of my life and I doubt I'll be interested until late 20's atleast)So moving out with a boyfriend has a zero percent chance.

I'll move out once I got married. For sure, because I want to live in a different house with my husband and kids. IF I'll get married.

I started working since I was in high school....then eventually left my moms house around the age 18. I rented a small place and slowly worked my way up to a house that I live in now. I think a man should be out of their parents house by 18, but that's just me.


I have an uncle who is over the age of 30 still living with his mother. I don't judge him cause he has a severe addiction, but I think it's sad for a grown man his age to still be living with his mother and depending on her for everything.

I moved out when I was 24, though I honestly wasn't home all that much in the years leading up to it. My boyfriend (now fiance) and I got our own place, and now we have moved to the other side of the country... and are ironically living with his mom. We plan to get our own house later when we get the money, but the move and saving for the wedding come first.

There are a couple of reasons for that the main reason is I can not afford to live on my own so it is actually easier to share some of the financial responsibility with them and such. I also have rights to the home we share so that is also a reason.

If I were in a relationship though I probably would consider living on my own if I could afford to do so. I also have ambitions of eventually going back to my home in New York so that obviously be a goal of mine at some point.
