Final Fantasy V FTW guys. You may not like the story much but the gameplay was top notch and exceeded the gameplay quality of VII. Yes, the gameplay is that good. It has way more abilities within it than VII. And then the Advance version came around and the story wasn't boring anymore because the characters were actually interesting.

I'm going to have to go with the original on this one. The thing that starts it all will always have a place in my heart. And of course Final Fantasy VII being the first 3d one. All of the Final Fantasy games are great....well... except for VIII. That one was a huge disappointment to me.

Cid : First, I've played Final Fantasy 4 and 6 for the Super Nintendo. I played Final Fantasy 8 and 9 for the Playstation. I couldn't really get into 10 when I went to play it, I don't know why. I did like playing 12 and I thought that was a cool game. I played 13 for a little while until my bro beat it and sold the game for some crappier game. My favorite, to this date, is Final Fantasy 4. There is a great storyline and I liked the fact that there is an After Years that I never played yet.

 FFVII number one, shocker. I'm gonna have to say FFX though. The storyline in that game was epic, humorous, adventurous, romantic and tragic in wave after wave of RPG awesomeness. Final Fantasy II was the game that got me hooked on this type of game though, so, it deserves a mention.

My favorite Final fantasy is the latest one out and sad to say the only one I have ever played. I like the latest one Final Fantasy 13-2 because of the breath taking graphics, incredible story line and because it has plenty of things to do which provided me with hours of entertainment.

My favorite is a cross between 6( English 3) and 4 (English 2). These are the two final fantasy games I grew up on, I'm glad to say that too because I could've ended up playing games that are a lot worse in my childhood. So playing these awesome games did end up making me the retro lover I am today, It's also where I got part of my musical taste, Especially six. With music like The Decisive Battle (The boss theme (usually) ) And Dancing Mad this game is by far my favorite musically thanks to Nobuo's great work. As much as I loved four too, The music isn't quite the same as six's and Six will get my vote, Thanks for the great poll.

FF8 started strong but I was irritated at how Squall's personality changed so quickly and he seemed like a completely different(less cool) guy. I wasn't a huge fan of the characters in FF8 either. The storyline was also a bit of a time loop when you think of it so you didn't really save the world in the end. I liked FF9 was great. I'm undecided on if I like it or FF10 more. FF9 had a great cast. I only really like a few characters on FF10. I probably liked the plot of FF10 more though. Anyway both were great games. I liked the music in both.
