Metroid has been a pretty successful series since the NES. What's your favorite out of all of the Metroid games?

Mine would be Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. They managed to cram all of the goodness from the first two Prime games and more into one game. The Metroid Hatchers were particularly fun to fight.

i am a metroid nerd i like the other m i got to the secret ending with....... im not going to spoil it got ya lol anyway the secret boss is a dozy so be careful if you find him you'll need it and one more word of advice find alot of missile and axel charge tanks if your going to take that huge guy down.

I know that many will probably disagree, but I have to say Other M (with Super Metroid at a close second, of course).  I just really enjoyed the unique playing style it offered along with the plot.  I absolutely had to finish it.  In addition, I liked how there were more characters on the Bottle Ship.  I still don't mind the feeling of being alone on a planet like in the other games, but this was just a unique game that I enjoyed immensely.

Tie with Fusion and Zero mission. I played the crap out of those games. I liked prime as well nice change of game play but was still a metroid game which a lot of developers have trouble doing now days for example castlevania I personally love the franchise but not a huge fan of lords of shadow or any other 3d one for that matter.
