Did you ever get to the point that Pokémon got too repetitive, and started sucking?

For me, I stopped liking it when Sinnoh came around.

I lost faith in the anime once Sinnoh came around. For the games, they don't really bother me. They're good games. Just can't wait to get the Gen V games and see how its anime is like.

Can't say I have. I was in a dark place once, the Millenium Puzzle to be exact. But Ash soon pulled me outta there. I love Pokemon too much.

I stopped around the end of Johto. When I finished memorizing the 151 Pokémon and knowing every last number, they popped up and essentially said, "Guess what? Here are another 100 Pokémon for you to learn ." I decided I liked the series and I would stick with it. Around the end of Johto, I was happy with my unnatural knowledge of Pokémon, but they decided to disturb it and throw another 100 Pokémon at me. That was the end.

Around two years ago (freshman in college), I was introduced to emulators by my roommate. After I beat Pokémon Gold, I decided to try out Emerald (because I didn't know about hacks). That was my first introduction to anything from Gen III. That game was decent, so now I like Gen III and I'll play games from any of the first 3 Generations. Colosseum was decent too.

I never bothered getting a DS, so I haven't played Gen IV or Gen V games. I knew of Lucario from Brawl and I found a few others in some of the hacks, but that's it. Luxray and Lucario are probably my two favorites that I know of. I sort of want to watch the new anime episodes, so I decided to watch the whole thing from start to finish. I'm partway through the Orange League now.

So... Yeah I gave up on Pokémon, but now I'm getting back into it.

bchawk88 : The Millenium Puzzle was not a place to escape. Original Yu-Gi-Oh! is my second favorite anime ever. It didn't really take off until the Battle City tournament (2nd season). It is one of the only shows that makes it to a series finale and actually ends well. The spinoffs contradict the finale and they're not that great either.

I liked all up to the end of Johto as well,
After that the pokemon didn't look like pokemon anymore and I lost interest.
The first tv series and pokemon Yellow (game) were and still are my favourite,
I believe nothing is better than the Original.

BNuge : I'm saying I deviated from pokemon for a bit when yugioh was out thats all.

I'm actually losing faith in the show right now. I'm several season behind, since I'm watching Battle Frontier right now, and it's just so repetitive right now... I've seen a few episodes from the Sinnoh shows, and I don't like what I see... As for the games, I haven't lost faith, but the pokemon of the IV and V generations are disappointing me.

I'll never stop pokemon will go on in my heart and not stop.

Pokemon is my lifeblood. I haven't lost faith in it. It may get repetitive, but you can only do so much with a show of that magnitude. All things come to an end.

No I always am going to enjoy pokemon.Even though the new ones can't compare to the original and even though some of the new ones are weird,I still enjoy the games.

I stopped watching the episodes after Johto but I still play the games. Everytime I go on a long trip I whip out my red, blue or yellow verson for a bit of nostalgia. Those are by far my favorite game boy games aside from some of the Castlevania saga.

I stopped watching the anime when Dawn came around and screwed things up. I still play the games occasionally though.

About in the middle of Sinnoh I got bored and about 6 months later I got back into pokemon or as i call it pokemans :O

Meh, I started to lose faith until Black and white.
It felt like the series was reborn in a darker manner.

Yh i did after the Diamond & Pearl base set but when the HG/SS tcg set came out i got back into the whole pokemon francise again.

After the original 150 pokemon i lost faith forever. Eh actually gold and silver was awesome.

Yes about the time they started the DP series.

i sure as heck did, i got annoyed of the show afrer the second season ended, thus put me to the point of somewhat hating pokemon now..

I've heard about pokemon best wishes AKA black and white and it sucks Brock is gone after countless seasons cartoon network can go * themselves for ruining pokemon
