OK, well today I was thinking and I realized that technically, perhaps you might not die in black holes. Maybe they're actually somewhat of "gates" to other galaxies and stuff like that. Does anyone have any thoughts on this matter? |

No, you would die in a black hole. Black holes are collections of immense gravity in small point. Gravity is exponentially stronger the deeper it is inside, and in very, very short distances. So much so that the pull on a person's feet would quite literally be 50 times stronger than the pull on his head. Your body would rip in half as you were going in.
As far as what's on the other side, I've often wondered that myself. There's a theory out there that suggests the amount of matter and energy inside explodes into another universe from a single point, similar to the way our universe started. So our universe may have come from a black hole in some other universe.

Black holes are space glitches, ok maybe not... I think there is more to black holes then meets the eye. Our eyes are black holes so they might be similar in concept.

Cyro is right, you'd be ripped in half, so unless a startling development changes, we won't see what's beyond a black hole.
However, I have my theories. My main theory is that all black holes leap to a common dump point. Think of the black hole as a garbage disposle. And they all lead to the same dump place. All the space junk gathers there and accumulates over time. As the universe grows so does the interior of the dump point. At some point the entire universe will be in the dump zone. Once this happens, interdimensional travel will be possible. However, I have my theories. My main theory is that all black holes leap to a common dump point. I remember one of my professors once said that we could never be able to go into black holes because we would be literally torn apart when we got near it due to gravity difference inside and outside the black hole (or something like that). So, if there's a door into there I think it's out of reach for us -------------------- |
