I cuss only when it's appropriate like when I'm with my friends and around older people that i know. I never cuss at home because I respect my house and everyone in it nor do I cuss around kids because I think that is wrong!

Honestly, while I do not cuss like a sailor I do come close sometimes. It's been all around me my whole life, and I honestly do not attach as much meaning to the words as others unless they are obviously being used in a hurtful manner. I tone it down on here because of the minors, but on other boards I speak more freely.

I've practically stopped swearing.... my daughter is almost 2 and is repeating nearly everything my wife and I say now... and we would prefer she didn't swear until she was at least a teenager. And hopefully at that age she'll be smart enough not to do it when we're around  -------------------- |

I swear sometimes, but never at home or around family, and never never around kids. If I'm playing a game that's really starting to annoy me (or if something doesn't work right, like if a button doesn't respond to repeated angry thumb slams) I can come up with some pretty impressive strings of impolite words.  However, I never swear at people, unless I'm joking with a friend or they actually do deserve it (for example, the mayor of Quincy, who refuses to build a track facility and says that he is doing everything in his power to get it done, while everyone knows that he's just sitting with his finger up his bum, smiling stupidly). i try not to ever swear in the @#%&* forums, and there will be times when i go quite a while without a @!*% or a $%#@!*&. But sometimes I go into a trance around my friends when I can't help that every other word slips out. But never anything racial or hurtful. Just a @#%$ every once in a while.

I didn't used to swear a lot but now I do just because I can't get in trouble for it. I know that sounds stupid but when something ticks me off I want to be able to say da**it! It makes me feel better and lets off some steam. I swear a lot now but only around friends and people I'm close to, except my parents. I can't bring myself to swear in front of them.
