You can thank my mom for introducing me to video games, The Legend of Zelda series in particular. That series got me hooked. I just enjoyed the story. Since some people don't consider the Zelda series to be RPGs as much, I didn't really get into "traditional" RPGs until, oddly enough, Pokémon came along. City of Heroes cemented my addiction to RPGs.

I played games whenever i could when i was younger my interest in gaming started because of my nan having a old Atari 2600 and a Game Boy, what surprises allot of people is how good she is at Space Invaders, anyway back to the point i never considered myself to be a real gamer until the first time i played my cousins Master System and battered him at his own games.

Then the obsession began.

I originally watched my dad play the Legend of Zelda on our NES when I was 2. I would watch him get all excited while fighting Gleeok, and watch us be bored while he was grinding for Rupees in Level 2. Eventually he let me play, and was like, "Holy $#*!, this kid's good!" and to this day, I love everything about video games... good life story. =D

This question really makes me feel nostalgic… Well to be brief I grew up in the 80s and I think that was when video games were just starting to become hot. I am also disabled so when ever I would have to have a surgery and such I would always play Nintendo while I was home recovering. It brings back so many good memories for me. No matter how old I’ll get I will never be ashamed to admit that I was and still am a gamer.

My favorite games back then were Mike Tyson’s Punchout Super Mario and Tetris. I never got passed level five in Mario and never got to Tyson in Punchout but Tetris was the game I struggled with the most back then…

I loved Mario in all his forms from the beginning up until now. Then of course there was a succession of consuls thereafter. Super Nintendo (still my all time favourite) SNES, N64, Gamecube, Xbox, Wii, PS1, PS2, PS3, DS, PSP etc. All of us kids had at least one of these systems. There are about 10 of us kids running around my parents house. So many of us I lose track sometimes but there is always someone to game with.

Good memories. Good times. Good fun.
