Princess Zelda is more better because she can use her magic to destroy Peach. Zelda also can turn into Sheik, who can also destroy Peach with her combinations and spikes. All Peach can do is throw out vegetables and use Toad as a sheild.

Gotta go with Zelda. Peach to me looks too innocent and just isn't the type of princess that meets the image. She's too, fairy tail looking, shall I say. While Zelda has a big demeanor, is attractive(for a video game, lol), and fits the princess persona/image.

She can handle herself in final boss battles, has stronger skills, & when she is the damsel in distress, she has to be incapacitated in some way. Peach is constantly awake & aware of what's happening, yet all she does is wave her arms around saying, "Oh no! Mario save me!".

I will give a nod to the Peach from the Paper Mario series though. She at least sent clues to help Mario find her instead of Mario having to do all of the work. At least she sent clues in the first two. I haven't had a chance to play Super Paper Mario although I don't really consider that part of the Paper Mario series since it doesn't really follow the same formula as far as being an RPG type game. That I've noticed anyway.......
