Vizzed.com domain turned 20 years old this month! I actually wasn't even old enough to buy the domain 20 years ago. Jake-A-Roonie bought it for me, and then the following year I turned 18 and got a debit card so that I could start paying for it.

Vizzed.com was founded 1 1/2 years before this version of the site was created, and it was founded roughly 1 year after the first Vizzed Board came to life. So the history of Vizzed has a lot of different milestones and anniversaries, but this is probably one of the biggest. Not many sites or domains last this long on the internet. It's incredible that I've been able to have a community that continues to use the site, even after all these years.

I'm still working on putting together a YouTube video. Not sure when that'll be done, maybe in a few weeks. Either way, it'll still be released before the year ends, so it'll still come out during the anniversary year (just not the year and month).

I'm happy to have been apart of such a fantastic community all these years. Glad to be back as a site staff after short stint almost 10 years.

Even though the site is no where near as active as it use to be, i try my best to stay active around the community.

Vizzed.com domain is older then me by like 9 years. I've only been on Vizzed.com for 357 days and that I've only been on Vizzed for 1/20 of of the time the domain has been around! I gotta say that if I can make 70 posts a year that means if I was on the site for 20 years then I would have made 1400 posts! Crazy right? I mean thats not as much as Davideo7 but thats still a lot.

I've been meaning to reply to this thread the past few days guess I've been busy and kept forgetting but now that I've remembered I'm not really sure what to say but I'm very grateful that the site exists and for all the people I would have never met without it and I've only been around for just under half of the whole time it's been around but I'm happy for all the time and experiences I've had!

Memory doesn't always serve me right, but I'd bet that I didn't even have a computer at home when Vizzed actually came to life. That's where I was 20 years ago xD

It's really impressive to see this site still standing after two decades. In such an evolving world as the internet, twenty years are an awful lot and this site manages to stand its ground over time.

It will surely be interesting to watch that anniversary video, reminiscing through the old times and how things used to be not so far away from now.

Dang… I’m old. Time to retire soon.


I remember when I signed up to this site. One of the very….. very….. few users who are still “active” signing up before 2010. I remember the donations for the snes and the site being a lot more basic. It hasn’t changed much in aesthetics but compared to when I signed up, it’s pretty significant how it underwent renovations.

Another thing, so much easier to go to the site now than before. I remember before signing up whenever I typed “vizzed.com” it directed me to your portfolio for freelance services. Didn’t know had to add “vizzed.com/vizzedboards” so just went to google to find it.

Another 20 years I guess? I still want to take control for one day. Even if it’s just an April fools prank (joking joking)

It's been 12 years or so since I joined. I made a lot of friends, memories, and learned a lot here. Some people are still in my life outside of the website, some I've never heard from again. I'm not really ever on here anymore but part of me decided I'd come check things out. Not much has changed and I love it. It's almost as if the lack of change makes the website unique. My memories of this place: sitting in the chat room for hours on end, posting stupid stuff in my youth, creating bonds with some amazing people; those will never leave me.

Congrats on 20 years David, I'm very happy to have been a part of it in any capacity, and I'm glad your passion project has brought you so much joy

Been here for about 13 years. It's amazing that I've been around over half as long as the site has existed. I remember thinking it was so old when I joined back in 2010!

Seeing this post resurgence a bit, it's honestly pretty crazy that the site has around for this long. I have a lot of memories of older Vizzed and all before site UI Updates and all that when I still kinda just used it to play Video Games lol

2010 doesn't feel like it was that long ago but the fact I've gone through like 2-3 other accounts before making this one just goes to show I still love this site even for how outdated it may feel at times. Just a piece of history that deserves to be remembered at least for people like me who still find fondness getting to hang out with a community pretty tight knit.

I remember all of the vizzed video game music competitions I took part in over the past 20 years. The only vizzed video game music competion i didn't compete in was the PC-FX one!
