What's your favorite number?

gamerforlifeforever : My favorite number has always been 14 since it was my cubby number in kindergarten any time I play a sports game and create myself for a career it's always the number I go for, that said oddly enough I've never been a super huge fan of anyone wearing 14 at Ohio State or the Seattle Seahawks I know DK Metcalf wears it and he's good but I don't know never wanted his jersey or anything.

Why must you be taken? I would’ve sacrificed everything to buy you the moonlight and the stars to shine the qualities that you possess. If it’s one more star that you want, I would go out of my way for it.

Kidding kidding don’t think I go that direction. Why are you horrible in College Football game?

becerra95 : I don't think that's true I think I got scared off of Heisman way too long by barely beating Group of 5 teams year 1 I just needed to learn my playbook and learn how to be a somewhat balanced offense and then should of switched back to Heisman years ago in game but now that I've played on Heisman a couple years it's 2046, my career record is 333-18, 39-2 vs rivals one loss to Penn State one to TTUN in 3 OT, 146-14 in top 25 games, and 62-8 in the playoffs. I've found I've had a few teams that always give me issues when I face them for example Florida State hired one of my OC's I won 4 National Championships with and for a while I would lose anytime I faced them, TCU is another random team that gives me issues when I run into them in the playoffs, and finally Memphis rarely gives too many issues in the playoffs but I've played them 10+ times it's crazy how often they make it. I will say the one thing I have pushback against is I'm terrible at calling defense always have been but I've gotten around it by just blitzing on more than 95% of plays which I would of never done in NCAA Football 14 I played man and cover 3 in that game all day trying that in this game feels like I'm just waiting for the opposing team to score on me so now I bring a ton of pressure which sometimes screws me over and sometimes I have a player with 10+ sacks.

On a scale of 1-10 how surprised are you that the OSU Notre Dame score got closer in the 4th quarter?

gamerforlifeforever : Honestly probably around a 3 on the scale of surprise but nerves was a 10 it seems like Ohio State always get's too conservative when they get up a bunch and let the other team back into the game so I wasn't surprised by it but I was super stressed my grandpa was so happy when the game was over cause he thought he was gonna have a heart attack, while I was happy to finally be able to buy a National Champion shirt since I missed out on getting the shirt in 2014. I'm thinking about making an Ohio State Layout now not sure when I'll get around to it or what player from this team it'll be but this team really deserved it with all the crap they put up with so I'm just happy it turned out well.

How hard did you party when Ohio State won the natty?

gamerforlifeforever: I regret buying Sonic Superstars it released on my birthday and I used to wish for a Sonic game to come out on my birthday when I was younger so even though I wasn't impressed by trailers I was hopeful and bought it anyway but ended up hating it if I ever go all in on a tdv again I'm sure I'll write a review on it cause it was super disappointing.

Barathemos : I'm not really a party person per say but I was so happy for all the players who came back and for coach day I just got home from the championship celebration at Ohio Stadium and had a great time that's as close to throwing a party I'll get.

What's the worst movie you've ever seen?

gamerforlifeforever: Dragon Ball Evolution I hate that movie but it also helped bring Dragon Ball back so it's a strange thing but that was probably the first time growing up I realized that movies could be awful.

claytune : why did you change your name? I see your name and it takes me a bit to remember who you were.

geeogree: It’s funny you should ask that I actually just thought about reverting to SonicOlmstead however, I feel like it brings back bad memories for me at this point and feels like a regression so I decided against it. That said I still am thinking about Olmstead being part of a username again I’ve always been fond of my last name after my former stepdad kept trying to change it, I thought about GokuOlmstead since Dragon Ball is my favorite series but Goku was never my favorite, I thought of GohanOlmstead originally because my mom wanted to name me Gohan but grandparents would not let her and I picked Sonic over it back then plus my wife hates Gohan. FreezaOlmstead is too long SonicOlmstead was right at the limit on many services. I thought what if I did how I ultimately picked back then favorite game series but then JokerOlmstead no one would think Persona over Batman. So I don’t know I’m still thinking about it.

How has being married changed your perspective or your outlook on life?

If you were able to know how you are eventually going to die, but not when, would you want to know?

Furret : I would say I definitely do have a different outlook but it's hard to describe, to try to put it in words I think like everything has more meaning in a way like yeah I'm working to earn money and live and such but also like I'm earning money which helps support my wife or will when she's actually here but I don't take that as stress it's just really motivating and fulfilling to be so happy. I geel very at peace with everything I wish we could live together already but I'm fine taking each day as it comes. My best advice would just be to make sure you really get along and they really match well with you in a sense of humor, handling different things etc. Probably pretty generic advice I guess but for the moment it's the best I've got at the minute after trying to think of something better for a few days.

Why do you like Mario Kart Double Dash so much? How would you convince someone that thinks that Mario Kart 8 is the best Mario Kart game that Double Dash is better?

tgags123 : Because it's the best Mario Kart.

No in all seriousness good question, I would say the biggest thing for me personally is I love how Double Dash controls I don't think any Mario Kart after it feels anything like Double Dash and I wish I could put into words how it feels to control but I'm not great with describing car handling and googling it lead me to find people say it's too loose and too tight so now I'm real lost. I also feel like every Mario Kart has gotten further and further away from how DD felt and more samey with each game for a while I genuinely believed wii, 7, and 8 felt the same but after playing a bit of wii a few years ago I'm wrong on that one but 7 and 8 still feel pretty close to the same. Besides just the controls I love the details in DD you can see other tracks in most courses which blew my mind when I was little I love how the characters hold the items before you use them. I also would be foolish to not admit that it being the first Mario Kart I played when I was around 7 plays a part I mean we only had a gamecube for around a year and the only game I played on it was DD, it was to the point of when I was at children's hospital finding out I was diabetic and had to stay for however long I was there I was really upset when the gamecube you could rent seemingly didn't have DD but eventually I relented and decided to try monkey ball only to be shocked and excited to find DD in the case. Over the years as I've played the co op mode a few times and did a full playthrough doing co op a while back with a friend I find more to love no other Mario Kart has a full co op the way DD does. It blows my mind that no Mario Kart has brought back the Double characters on a kart mechanic as a side option or mode I know they'd need to specific karts and such but it's such a fun way to play the game even if double items have made a return I still miss the fun of doing co op instead of teams. Before Persona 5 and then Royal was easily my choice for favorite game of all time I could never pick between 3-5 games and Double Dash was always one of the ones I couldn't pick between. Lastly the reason I play up my love for it so much is for years all I would hear is people talk about Wii being the best Mario Kart and as someone who played Wii and hated how different it controlled and also how washed out and lower quality it looked in comparison it drove me nuts to the point where I always sing DD's praise lol if anything I think Nintendo actually made it worse with the Booster Course Pass when there was a leak that was right for the first two or three waves and then I think as a curve ball they changed a course from a DD one to a wii one and everyone thought oh we'll get another DD one later but nope wii just got an extra one because people love wii. My other issue with the wii love over DD is that I think some of the DD picks were because the tracks returned in wii, which is a lame way to decide what DD tracks get to return I just want DD Rainbow Road back but no we had to end on Wii Rainbow Road. I've kinda gone off the rails a bit talking about the Booster Course Pass but I will say before I answer the 2nd part of the question that from what I've seen I am hopeful for Mario Kart World's controls I won't really know till I play it myself but at the very least it looks different to control than 7 and 8.

As for how I would convince someone that DD is better than 8, I probably can't I mean 16 tracks vs 96 is a really hard thing to argue MK8D has so much content that it's hard to argue against it being the objective best Mario Kart, like I would say I prefer the 16 original tracks in DD over 8's original new tracks but even that isn't a huge thing cause I think 8 has the best lineup of new tracks since DD.

Why not change your name to OldManSomic or SomicOldMan?

Ok, follow up question. Are there any other games that you prefer an older version of the game to the newest one? If so, is the reasoning similar? A mix of mechanics and nostalgia?
