Description
The main vizzed server is slowly getting low on space and in order to continue adding music to the video game room, I need to free up space. 2 ways to do this: Audio Fingerprinting: Put together a script that generates an acoustic fingerprint of every song and then finds exact matches of that song. Have all duplicates deleted and have all the songs that match point at the same file (the same song sometimes exists in different games or on different systems). Bitrate Compressing: Create a script that finds any song with a bitrate about 192 and compress it down to 192. Some of the bitrates for songs in the VGR are as big as 320 and that high of a bitrate is huge in file size.
