Can I get Thursday at 6 PM and Friday at 10 PM? I can probably work with anything 4 PM and after on any day, but those two would be my preference.

Well, DJ and I showed up. I said I was cool with rescheduling, but he was adamant that we play on time. Only thing is that Triforce didn't show, either. I guess that counts as a win by default? Not sure. Lemme know.

I hope I'm not throwing a wrench in the works, but I likely won't be available today. I can take any slot 4pm or after, any day of the week but Wednesday. Family thing came up. Nothing bad, just not going to be home.

The input lag was pretty harsh this round, too. I don't know what the issue is. I was doing great at the start. I'm definitely going to have to tinker a bit, though.

DJ Styles : Did you happen to get the final results to our match? I wasn't able to see it because I disconnected near the end and, by the time I managed to reconnect, the game had been restarted.

I just want to add that, if you can't find the time to play the other entries in ther series and you're only going to play Kingdom Hearts I, II, and III, please at least watch videos of the rest of the games, They're almost all critically relevant to the plot, and skipping any of them, with maybe the exception of Re:Coded, will leave a whole lot of unanswered questions. They all criss-cross and interconnect with each other.

Divine Aurora : Weed is no more addictive than, and likely less so, than any major brand of tobacco because of the chemicals used to treat tobacco.

Weed doesn't make people psychotic like the hardcore drugs. The argument could be made that people bored with weed will chase a higher high, but that's true for things all the way down to caffeine and sugar. I do in fact know one person who said they'd try cocaine because they're used to caffeine.

I don't consider the federal regulation legitimate, and I don't believe it should exist. State law should supersede any federal law that doesn't involve constitutionally protected rights.

Laws can't and shouldn't replace responsible parenting or education. If kids should be taught that weed is a waste of time and money and that smoking if bad for your health, it's the parent's responsibility to do that.

The state finding ways to cash in on it isn't a reason to keep it illegal and ruin otherwise productive and responsible people's lives. If the state decided they wanted to tax ever cupcake sold in store, on top of any preexisting sales tax, would you argue that suger should be made a regulated substance?


Laws shouldn't exist for any other reason than to protect the individual's universal human rights. Anything that is not a direct harm to another or a community should not be illegal. Law cannot and will never replace morality.

Divine Aurora : I disagree with this particular instance of the slippery slope argument. One could in fact make the argument that legalizing this will lead to legalizing all other substances, but that doesn't have to be the case.

I agree with the idea that everyone who's been thrown in jail or prison for possession should be released post-legalization, and those charges expunged from their records. I would also go as far as saying that simple possession under a certain small amount of any other substance should no longer be illegal, but that the focus should be put on the producers and dealers of dangerous substances. It does absolutely no good to lock up a user or addict. You're not helping them repair their life, you're permanently tarnishing their name. If you want to combat drugs, go after the people distributing it.

pennylessz : At least this far, as far as I'm aware, they took a lot of creative liberty in making the anime. The first two seasons are set during the time of Castlevania III, but I couldn't say how close to the game it is. I recall reading it was pretty different, which is a good thing because adapting an NES game for anime would be awful hard otherwise.

Lag was a little rough on everyone this game.

Once again, same as last week. Any time and day but noon Saturday if I can keep from it.

I remember riding down a little dirt hump beside our apartment building on my big wheel when I was four. I remember the next apartment we lived in flooding the next year. Moving forward, I recall losing my first tooth when I was six, taking in a puppy which lead me to meet several people who would become my closest friends for several years, signing up to Adventure Quest Worlds and Kongregate and having a particularly vulgar, angry and toxic 13th year, our unit's financial collapse, eviction and relocation in 2010, and my signing up to Vizzed a few years later.

Now, I'll be 23 in June, and while it seemed an eternity then, I'm amazed at how fast it seems to have gone. Parents always said that your life passes you by faster than you realize, but it's an extremely foreign concept when you're little. It's something you have to experience to understand.

I couldn't be a lawyer or a police officer. Similar reasons for both.

Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for a lot of law enforcement, and I consider myself friends with at least one officer, but there are so many fundamental things about law that I disagree with that I couldn't be any part of it. As a police officer, I couldn't carry out my duty to enforce a law I didn't believe in, and as a lawyer, I couldn't defend or prosecute someone for a law I think shouldn't be.

pennylessz : I don't, actually. I feel like it might be overwhelming to the newer generations who are unaccustomed to message boards. I'm not the only one, either; there've been several people bring it up and there's been several discussions on how to correct it, but few were in agreement on how.

Personally, I think merging a large number of the forums and relocating them into more vague categories would do wonders. The site would look much less like a ghost town, it's be easier to find everything, topics wouldn't get buried... Everything would be generally more focused. David's done some tweaking her and there, but is hesitant to make huge changes to the directories. Once reason is that he wants to maintain the board's symmetry with the categories. Personally, I think we could probably cut the categories in half by merging. But I'm not sure if we'll see anything that drastic happen.

Semi sweet black tea with a bit of lemon. Maybe some other flavor on occasion. I don't drink it often because we rarely make any, but I absolutely love it if it's made just right. Lipton Pure Leaf gets the strength, lemon and sugar ratio perfect for me. I wish I could duplicate it exactly.
