Mecha Leo : You are so correct about discussing depth and addictiveness in the Gameplay segment, though I personally wouldn't mention either depth or addictiveness unless it's a game with A LOT of depth like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Anyway, you've seen my review for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=102161). That review had a Gameplay section just like for Graphics and Sound/Audio, and that's what I'm kindly asking everyone else on Vizzed to do with their reviews. You don't explain gameplay in Depth or Addictiveness, you simply just give it it's own category - simple as that. And yes, the review system should be revamped to include Gameplay because I can't stress enough how important it is to explain gameplay in a video game review.

Furret : As for the six category format, that's just plain stupid, lazy, and cheap. Heck, I only use a custom five category format; Gameplay, Difficulty, Graphics, Sound/Audio, and Story. I rarely change it up, though, like in my review for Corpse Party 3DS (https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=102170). I brought up GameFAQS because the reviews there are top-quality and I thought the people here could learn a thing or two from the reviews there. Even they don't have a specific way of writing their reviews, by the way.

Also, I read your review, and while it's good by Vizzed standards, you should seriously have Gameplay categorized like the other six categories. It only makes sense. I could nag on about other gameplay aspects you could have mentioned (like how in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, you can Ground Pound, spin-hover in the air for a tiny bit, etc.), but that's not the main issue here. And before you get the wrong idea, it is a fine review.

How about a fullscreen feature for Nintendo 64 games? That would be really cool.

For me, SegaSonic the Hedgehog is currently suffering some gamebreaking issues. I used to be able to play this game back in 2014, but nowadays the characters won't stand still, the controls are messed up and un-responsive, and for these reasons I simply cannot play the game. It's the reason I came here to play video games online of all places, so if someone could fix that up and make it playable again, I would be very pleased.

Also, there's another guy on Vizzed who has a precisely similar case. Check his thread here; https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=100758

Nintendo's name also used to mean something. They were once a family-friendly name like Walt Disney Studios. They produced top-quality entertainment products that had that same Disney magic, too, in that it appealed to people of all ages. It was family-friendly, yeah, but it wasn't "baby-ish" at all. It was just appropriate. Aside from being appropriate, their games were always top-quality and always the best games available on the market at whatever time. Overall, Nintendo was a comfort zone away from the horrors of adult-oriented games like Grand Theft Auto, plus the games there were always the best. Of course adult-oriented games on Nintendo consoles did exist, but 97% of them were scorned and kicked to the dark corner to rot in obscurity.

But then Nintendo went out of their way to promote adult-oriented games on their consoles, most notoriously the Bayonetta series. On top of personal contempt, I hate her because Nintendo feels strongly dedicated to her like she's one of their own. Having her as a Nintendo highlight is a bad thing as is (I shouldn't have to explain why, given her A Clockwork Orange-levels of immoral shock value), but what really did it for me is that they added her into Super Smash Bros. (and resultingly made amiibos of her). I enjoyed Super Smash Bros. 3DS prior to her inclusion (which was secretly confirmed very early in the games lifespan), but once she showed up... my enjoyment of the game slowly crippled until I eventually sold it. But what's worse is her appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! At least in the previous game she was optional, but here you're forced to play with her! f*** you, Bayonetta! You've ruined Super Smash Bros. for me!! ...Oh well, I guess I'll have to stick with Brawl - the last good Smash game. Melee and Smash 64 rock, too.

Yeah, I tried to make this short, but on a touchy subject like this, it's hard not to get personal and explain such feelings. I know my complaints are futile because of Nintendo's stubborn obsession with the hairy four-eyed freak, but there are somethings you just have to get out of your system regardless of the logical long-run solely for your well-being. And yeah, I know this has nothing to do with Bethesda's current condition at all, but I thought I'd tell a very similar (but much more important) case scenario.

I prefer to use it docked and play with my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, if at all. I hardly play the damned thing at all, given I scorn the system's iconic titles (i.e., Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle). Hell, the only game I really play on there is Sonic Mania Plus!

Crash Bandicoot all the way! I own the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and not the Spyro Reignited Trilogy (simply because of a damn day-one patch necessary for the game which is there due to reasons the devs couldn't sort out) so that should tell you something. Plus, Crash games are more simple whereas Spyro seems more complex.

I play 1-on-1 fights in Brawl. I use just about every character in the game excluding; Olimar, Ice Climbers, all the Pokémon excluding Lucario, Peach, Samus (I use Zero Suit Samus, however.), and Link. No combos, none of that fancy s***. I either play on custom stages, Battlefield, or Final Destination.

Super Smash Bros. is a trilogy, not a series. The only good Smash games are Smash 64, Melee, and Brawl; all the later games - Project M included - suck ass.

I personally think featured reviews shouldn't exist on this website altogether. It's just a senseless bias that shoves a subjective (and usually stupid) opinion down your throat everytime you even look at a game. I've always hated featured reviews from the day I first came here, and above everything, they should be taken down once and for all!

It doesn't help that 99% of all the reviews here are much worse than mediocre. See this thread for why I think so; https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=102199

Bayonetta. If it weren't for that ugly, hairy, four eyed freak I'd likely own this game. But, no! The f***ing b**** just had to return, didn't she? Why is she so bad, you ask? She's ugly as hell, her voice is obnoxious as f***, she's overpowered, she's absurdly adult-oriented and heavily-shock valuable much in the vein of crap like A Clockwork Orange which contradicts Super Smash Bros.'s family-friendly nature, and must I explain why having a bodysuit made of human head hair is so f***ing ridiculous, never mind the part where she strips it off to attack stuff.

Put simply, "I HATE BAYONETTA AND ALL WHO DON'T!!!"
