Who's Better Mudkip Or Squirtle

Squirtle is a better defensive pokémon whereas Mudkip is better with offense. Mudkip is also immune to electric moves but that makes it 4x weak to grass moves.

My vote goes for Squirtle. It can handle being hit better & although it may have the weaker attack stats of the two, it is still pretty powerful. I think it looks better too.

Squirtle for me because he has good base stats and is capable to hold his own in most fights. Mudkip may beat him in power , but is more vulnerable to grass attacks.

i personally think that squirtal is better for two reasons 1 hes from my generation of pokemon and 2 he evolves into blastoise which has cannons wich is awsome

I am a big fan of classic pokemon.So, if I had to choose, I would prefer Squirtle.
Also,he is so cute when he is wearing these sunglasses on the TV series

Yeah same here I like the classics, going with squirtle on this one, he can hold his weight even though he has his weaknesses, hes still the better of the two...

Well, I do like how Squirtle looks, and it's a classic favorite of mine, but Mudkip evolves into Swampert, another Poke'mon I really like that's also a Water/Ground type, negating the weakness to Electricity.

But...I'd still have to go with Squirtle. First gen is amazing.

Swampert is better than Blastoise. Look at the types. Swampert is in a type with four fully evolved pokemon (which is actually pretty big for a non-flying Dual type.), the others being Gastrodon, Whiscash, and Quagsire. Swampert has the ability to actually make use of the resistances, and almost single-handedly makes Grass a good type in OU.

Blastoise is a run of the mill Bulky Water. It's to slow to abuse Water Spout, Haze is beaten in many situations by Phazing, and Tentacruel can Rapid Spin better... and that's just among Water types!

Swampert. Blastoise makes for a fairly solid UU choice though.

(And yeah, that was competitive stuff. Before you complain, I am doing what the thread suggests, compairing Swampert to Blastoise. Sure, looks didn't effect my viewing, but I don't care so much about what things look like... unless they are cool, like Probopass or Gengar, or if they suck like Geodude or Seel.)

Squirtle, because I like the first generation of Pokemon more than any other generation, and because Squirtle was the first Pokemon that I started with In Pokemon Red Version and Blue Version.

id have to go with squirtle because first he looks flippin coolr than mudkip and his defense and attack are way better and so are the moves he learns

Mudkip, because of the fact that it's got two types. It gan give it advantages over others, that squirtle doesn't have.

I honestly think that Squirtle is the best, because he always helped me out a lot in the Pokemon games. Mudkip is good also, but I'd have to say that squirtle is better. (Also, classics are a factor)

Squirtle if you ask me. But it's a question of taste.

Squirtle, he's tougher than Mudkip and can easily hold his own if trained properly, Mudkip just doesn't have the same kind of strength Squirtle has, sure he's got a stronger attack stat but that's pointless when he can't take damage

Squirtle all the way! I absolutely hate Mudkip.

I have to agree with the majority, Squirtle is better. No, he isn't better...he's way better and cooler! He is much stronger and I think that when he is a Blastoise he can learn solar beam from a TM, giving him an advantage over Swampert.
