Are you one of the weirdos like me who gets excited about picking up their schedule? Or do you not look forward to seeing what classes you'll have?

For me, I'm excited about it every year. I can see which electives I picked that they actually gave me, and I have good reason to talk to my friends all day: to see if we're in any of the same classes.

Short answer, Yes. Long answer: yes. I Really like picking up my schedule for two reasons: one, like you said, it is a great conversation topic for the first day or two. Secondly,  I like it because it becomes one of the 3-4 papers I actually keep in good condition.

I got my schedule immediately after I picked out my classes for college. It was a good conversation starter to get to know everyone, since I'm completely unfamiliar with all the new students attending. 

My cousin also attends the college I'm going to, so I got some good conversation with her about my schedule (she told me where my classes are at). 

Besides college, I had always been looking forward to getting my schedule in middle and high school lol
