"Sure...umm, if you dont mind me asking, who's Zapp anyway?"

Nicki stared at everyone else and left to follow Jessica. " I guess poor Nicki is going solo. I gotta be real lucky to find an apartment at a low price since I barely have anything."

((OOC: I'm dragging along septembern and John to follow Jessica too, John because Didowe cannot post without busted keyboard, and septembern because I'm being nice. You guys really don't want to sleep outside ))

You follow Jessica right across the road and into the building on the other side, there's a sign on the door saying "Rahans only".

"Hey Marco! How's business going?" Jessica exclaimed when she entered.

Inside was a long desk from one wall to the other with loads of numbered vaults on the other end, there were also the numbers 1 to 1000 on the desk, about half of them were glowing. A man was on the other side, pointy black hair and a sour expressions on his face.

"Jessica, for the last time, my name is MARK not MARCO.

Anyways... Are these the new recruits?"

He looked at the new Rahans.

"So, here's how it works.

You got a 20000Q bonus for becoming Rahans, an apartment costs 20000Q. But there's also rent for food and Lyn and such, so you'll have to bunk up with someone. So when you find who you want to bunk up with just put your hands on one of the glowing numbers on my desk here and that Apartment will be registered to you. And I'd advise not to rent an apartment on your own.

The apartments are simple 2 room and one kitchen deals, so you can either go two bedrooms or one bedroom one living room. You can also three or four persons in one apartment, I don't care, but they work best for either one or two persons."

"Any questions?"

*"See you guys later" says Aburai as he leaves the building. A few hours ago, on the way to the West Gate, he asked where Kamiri lives. Later, he knocks on Kamiri's door with flowers, waiting for her to open*

Nicki leans on the desk "Well, you see... nobody likes Nicki. Therefore, I will have no choice since living in an apartment will be hard if alone. So, who wants Nicki!" Nicki then stares in disappointment knowing that nobody will bunk up with him.

* Septembern gets Nicki, "You can bunk up with me",


* Septembern and Nicki catch up with Jessica and John at the apartment...

* err... okay... I guess I'll take care of the things concerning the apartment while Aburai's away..."

"Right then... Seems like you have decided who's going with who, let me then explain a little more clearly how this works."

He pressed his hand on one of the glowing numbers, and the name "Mark Poll" lit up under it.

"Jessica, would you mind helping for this demonstration?"

Jessica merely nodded and pressed her hand down besides Mark's, the name "Jessica Chikura" lit up under Marks. They then both removed their hands and the number stopped glowing and their names disappeared.

"So now, we own this apartment, all payments are done and everything is fixed and ready, it's that simple."

He fiddles a little with something under the desk and the number lights up again.

"Unfortunately it seems like one of you disappeared somewhere... So this poor girl here will have to wait until he gets back."


"No worries Mark! I already got a Lyn trace from him!" Jessica said, and put on a glove and put her hand down on the number 256, the name "Jack Aburai" lit up under the number.


"Now just place your hand beside mine Julie, and you'll have all this apartment stuff fixed!"


Mark gave Jessica a irritated look.

"How many times do I need to tell you that what you just did is highly illegal?" Mark said with a stern voice to Jessica.

"So? Are you gonna tell anyone? And besides, the only who would get in trouble would be me, not Julie, so whatever."



Meanwhile, Aburai had found his way to Kamiris residence, which just happened to be a big tower in the middle of the city, right next to the Rahan offices and apartments.

He got to wait a bit after knocking, but then someone opened the door.

And it wasn't Kamiri, it was Kana.

"... You... I can give the flowers and some kind of apology to Kamiri from you, but I'm not letting you in to see her."

"Oh, it's you, Kana. Can't say I'm surprised, considering that I hurt her feelings earlier. Well, since I'm not going to see Kamiri, could you please get me a piece of paper and something to write with?"

Kana reaches into a pocket on her skirt and takes out a piece of paper and a pen and hands them to Aburai.

"Make it quick"

"Here are the flowers" says Aburai as he hands the flowers to Kana

*starts to write on the paper "Kamiri, I'm truly sorry for what I said before. If I had known what had gone on, I promise you, I wouldn't have said it. I can't stress enough how sorry I am. I would never intentionally hurt you.

Please forgive me,
Jack Aburai"*

*hands the paper and pen to Kana*

"Thank you"

* Septembern turns to Jessica

* "So what do I do now?", "Do I just go up to my room with Nicki or do I need to stay here right now?"

"Just put your hands at the number of the apartment first, and wait till your names show up under it.

That's how you actually buy them."

Jessica was still waiting for Julie to put her hand on number 256 so that Julie and Aburai could get their apartment finished.

* Septembern puts his hand on the 255th room.

* Septembern waits for Nicki to do the same.

Nicki then repeats the same process that Septembern is doing and waits.

I put my hand on number 256 and faced Jessica. " Umm.... thanks ^__^;;; "

"I'll go out for now.." then I went outside, hoping to find something to do...

The names "Nick Plotcher" and "September N" appeared under room number 255, the number then stopped glowing, signifying that the room was taken, and "Julie Yukihana" appeared under 256, that one too stopped glowing.

"And there you guys go, all done! Now you can just roam around the city and investigate it, or maybe go to bed early if you feel like that. Just make sure that you're not up to late, being outside after midnight is not allowed. Oh and, just enter through the door entered "in" at the top of the stairs, and you'll be right inside your apartment, magic is awfully convenient." Jessica said, as she removed the glove from her hand.


"I don't want to see you do something like that again Jessica." Mark said to her.


"No worries, I won't let you see me do it!"

She looked over at John

"Now then, what do we do about you? You don't have an apartment, and not enough money to get one without starving. So... What are you gonna do?"



Outside, Kana had grabbed the paper and flowers from Aburai.

"Yeah yeah, now go and don't cause more trouble."

She closed the door in front of him and went back up to Kamiri.

Julie got out right in time to see this happen to Aburai.



((OOC: Now, if anyone wants to do anything like go to a store or so, just ask someone what you're looking for and someone will probably gladly tell you.

And the road from the central tower (kamiris residence) and the west gate is pretty much littered with loads of stands and stores and the likes. You can pretty much find anything you like there.))

*walks away from Kamiri's place, hoping that he has helped ease her feelings of heartache*

*asks a person for directions to a weapon shop, and buys a new sword for 7500Q*

*he then walks to his apartment, and opens the door to see his apartment*

"Wow, this is basic... but it works."

*walks into the bathroom*

"Oh thank God, a shower!"

*gets in and takes a shower, gets out, and looks for clothes*

"Eh, where do they keep the clothes here?"

* Septembern says to Nicki "I think we should go out into the city, but be back by ten o'clock to prepare for the next day"

* Septembern puts many of his unnecessary weapons up in the room only carrying his bow and arrow.

* Septembern runs back down and goes to where everyone are standing.

* Septembern asks "Where are shops were I can find a magic staff and a great sword?"

*goes into the bedroom and sees a closet, which he opens to reveal a hand thing, which he puts his hand on, while thinking of his usual clothes, and it suddenly appears, but falls on his head*

*"Wow, that's very convienent" he says as he puts his clothes on. Once they're on, he looks at the bed*

"What the!? A single bed!?"

*puts the pillows down the middle of the bed8

"There we go..."

*Aburai hops in the bed and sleeps, soothing his body from the past few days of though conditions*
