Are there any video games that you played only once and never returned to them again? Why do you think that was?

For me, I played Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker once after buying it at GameStop. It's been several months and I still haven't touched it since then. It isn't that I wasn't interested in it or that it was too difficult. Unfortunately, it was because I kept doing other things and playing video games on my computer instead of my Wii U.

oh I have played a few of those. 

For me, one would be Nolan Ryans' Baseball. I did a review of this game it was horrible. Ryan does not even make an appearance. In fact he did not even license the game. The makers of the game put him on the cover without the hall of fame pitcher knowing it. The graphics and sound were just awful.

Bubsy 3D. I liked Bubsy but this game were one of the worst games I ever played. Buby's voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard. The graphics were way off and fuzzy. I played this game once and haven't gone back its that bad.

DK King of Swing- This game to me just did not seem to fit Donkey Kong. I liked games like Donkey Kong Country I, II and III. This one just seemed out of place.

I can recall a 'one and done game' Final Fantasy X.

I played it for roughly 100 hours, and then there was no re-playablity for me.

tornadocam : Wow, what a way to get people to play the game only to be ripped off :/

tRIUNE : Yeah, some games once you beat them you really don't want to do it again. Especially the super long ones that take years to beat.

I'm going to also say Final Fantasy X. I got the X/X2 Remastered for the Vita and I loved it, I spent maybe 5 hours a day for weeks playing it, but I didn't even get close to finishing and I just left it. It's probably been a couple years since I last touched it.

To me it would have to be Donkey Kong, it can be finished in a minute if you are fast which makes it something you play once for the experience of old games and then don't touch it again.
