honestly I had more than 1 computer back in the years, each one was an old model and the cpu in them didn't last for a long time and therefore having me replace computer after computer, I finally got a laptop which has lasted me 3 years so far and a custom gaming desktop which I use for more powerful games that my laptop cant handle

We got a shared computer in like 2000 or something. We got rid of it in like 2011 because it was getting really slow and old. 


Me personally though, I got our old laptop from my dad in like 2010 and I got a new one last year that's been nothing but amazing for me.

The computer I sometimes share with my parents is over a decade old. I used to play educational games on it when I was 3. I was one smart cookie

It's a Dell computer and even after we had to switch our OS to Windows 7, I've loved this computer and spent a ton of time on it.

I usually keep all my tech for quite a long time. Unless they start malfunctioning or break down (I come from a clumsy family), they're kept with us.

We've had three desktops in total (not counting the AIO fiasco) in the last 13 years or so. We started with a mini-tower one which heated up pretty fast, then switched to a normal one until last year, where we upgraded to a newer one after the older one had problems functioning with Windows 10. It was already 6 years old or so, about time it gets changed even if you're not seeking for anything in particular.

As for laptops, I still own the one I got gifted for my 18th birthday, but it's awfully slow and the battery lasts for a short while. We don't use it very often, but still obtained a newer one because bigger screen and the ability to read CDs. I still have to tweak it a bit in order to fully use it, I wonder when I'll get myself to do so.

  I have owned a computer for about 33 years now my first computer was a commodore vic20 that I had back in the days when there was no internet the games were both on cassette tapes and cartridges and while it still works I only keep it these days for a collector,s item I also had a radio shack computer that was bought at a garage sale that I kept for a few years before getting rid of it and getting a windows xp so I could start using the internet it was then upgraded to windows 7 after xp became obsolete but it became too slow and now I have another windows 7 that I have had for about 4 months that has more power than the old one I used to have
