Hey, vizzed members! Sadly, we’re past the Joe and Bob (and Spike) series. “The Party” was the, at that time, finale I guess. But like I said before, the series has so much potential that it will be reborn.
This time, what I’m posting is the first mini-story of a short and canceled series. I don’t think I will ever want to redo it because I don’t think I could do much with the concept. I’m glad I came up with it so long ago in the first place though.
Enjoy this interesting concept. Just ignore the fact that the house owners are apparently teenagers or something.
-TRANSITION-
Life in the Sky: “Paul Meets Paul”
Once upon a time, there was the sky. High in the sky stood two houses; one was short but wide; the other was tall but not quite as wide as the other one. One day, the two houses combined due to an intense wind. The owners of the houses stepped outside on their cloud to see what was going on. The owners introduced themselves.
“Hello, my name is Paul M,” said one of the owners. “It’s nice to meet you.”
“My name is Paul S,” exclaimed the other owner. “I don’t know what else to say…”
“Well, how about I show you my house and then we’ll have more to talk about,” replied Paul M.
The Paul dudes came inside of Paul M’s section of the house. There was another person sitting on the sofa watching television.
“Who’s your new friend that you brought here, Paul?” the person asked.
“This is my friend Paul. I met him when our houses crashed into each other,” Paul M. explained.
“Oh yeah… that did happen.”
“Tell Paul who you are.”
“My name is Steve. I’m Paul M’s younger brother,” the person explained.
“How about we just go outside and explore our cloud,” Paul S. suggested.
“Are you kidding me?” Steve shouted. “Are you crazy? Our cloud is only about twenty feet long! Besides, my favorite TV show is on right now.”
“Since you watched clouds in our sky a lot when you were seven, could you please use your imagination and tell us what one of the clouds looks like to you? I promise that if you do this, I’ll let you back on the TV right away.”
“Okay, fine,” Steve groaned. “But you will never do this to me again.”
“I promise,” Paul M. assured him.
THE END… FOR NOW.
-REFLECTION-
Interesting but very short. It’s more like an intro than a story.
The best lines in the story-
1. “This is my friend Paul. I met him when our houses crashed into each other,” Paul M. explained.
“Oh yeah… that did happen.” -Wow, somebody doesn’t care.
2. “Are you kidding me?” Steve shouted. “Are you crazy? Our cloud is only about twenty feet long! Besides, my favorite TV show is on right now.” –Logic. Where’s it at? A cloud that’s only twenty feet long. Most of them look much bigger than that.
