The title should explain it well enough. I´m looking for a specific type of Horror film. With so many films about haunted places like mansions, it leaves me answering a question: What made those places haunted?

Because of this, I´d like to watch a prequel film of sorts, one which tells of what it was like to live in a specific place, and what happened there that led to it becoming haunted. Does anyone know of such a film?
