Hey, vizzed members! Welcome to the 2nd part of me posting old short stories I made when I was 8 or 9, that I found in a blue binder. I have skipped a few stories and threw them in my trash can because of how bad they were, not even worthy of being redone someday. So all of a sudden, there’s a new character named Spike. He was introduced in one of the stories I threw away. Spike is Joe and Bob’s friend. He also likes skating. By the way, when I mention times without am or pm, it’s am.

Have fun reading this and I hope it makes you laugh! My mind was silly at the time of these stories too, not just now. This story was made on my birthday. I'm glad I noted that on the original paper.

-TRANSITION-

Joe, Bob, and Spike in:

“The Party”

Spike, Joe, and Bob were invited to a party that took place from 2:00am to 4:00am. This party took place at such an unusual time because if the party took place at a whole different time (such as from 2:00pm to 6:00pm), everyone would get grounded.

Plus, if Joe, Bob, and Spike were missing, Spike could get sent back to his home. He once said he would explode if that happened.

When people were given invitations, they were warned, “Do NOT go to sleep at night, guys. ONLY go to sleep when the party’s over and you’re back home.”

It was now 1:30. Joe, Bob, and Spike started packing their favorite things to do and walked to the party. When Joe, Bob, and Spike made it to the party, Kyle, the kid who made the party possible, greeted the 3 friends.

“It’s so nice to meet you!” Kyle said, shaking the 3 friends’ hands. “Come on in!” Kyle said.

The 3 friends were amazed at how epic the party was looking. Then they saw a giant indoor hot tub in the living room. They rushed over to it. Then they noticed the other guys in the pool, who were talking with each other. They put on their swim trunks, then dove in.

“It’s so nice to meet all of you new kids!” Bob exclaimed.

“And did you know,” Kyle started to say, “we have parties here every year!” he exclaimed. The 3 friends cheered at the news.

After everyone got out of the pool, everyone gathered in the dining room. Joe, Bob, and Spike were amazed at Kyle’s party-making skills. It may have only been 2:25 at the time, but there was an actual feast right there to eat!

“I’m starting to like you already,” Spike said to Kyle.

“You’re so clever,” Joe said.

“I like you guys too,” Kyle replied. “That’s why I invited you to my party.”

Everyone sat down at the table and prepared for the (early) meal. Joe, Bob, and Spike all chose the same meal: French fries with a cheeseburger and chicken nuggets.

“This tastes absolutely excellent,” Spike said to Kyle. “This must’ve costed you a fortune to purchase this stuff.”

Then Kyle explained to everyone, “If you get full after this meal and still feel full when you wake up, just eat breakfast really late… like at 10:00am.”

When everyone finished eating, it was time for the fun to begin. There were giant beach balls everywhere. There were even Rock ‘n’ Roll guitars to play. Joe, Bob, and Spike picked up Rock ‘n’ Roll guitars and turned the volume to medium. That way nobody could wake up to the noise and stop the party. Everyone was very impressed by Spike and his 2 buddies rockin’ the house.

So then Kyle said, “Excuse me, I’ll be right back. I’m just gonna get some mats to dance on.” Then he brought up at least 16 giant dance mats and placed them on the floor.

“You’re family must be really rich,” Bob said to Kyle.

Eventually, the party ended, so Kyle said to everyone, “Unfortunately, it’s time to leave. But I’ll see ya next year!”

Joe, Bob, and Spike were talking about what a great time they had at the party.

“I can’t believe we got to eat so early today,” Spike said. “I was by far impressed.”

The 3 friends walked home. Then they came home and looked at the clock. It was 4:30. They set the alarm for 8:30. Then they drifted off to sleep.

THE END.

-REFLECTION-

Well first off, I took 2 seconds to make that title. Since, for some reason, it didn't involve skating, I didn't get to put that clever Sk8ting thing in the title.

That story was somewhat well-thought out, but it once again wasn't realistic like I might have aimed for. How do you expect to do all this without a single person waking up or anyone getting caught? How in the world would anyone fall asleep with all this going on?

The big thing is that everyone acts like they haven't met Kyle and Kyle hasn't met them, even though he invited them. I knew my old stories would have many mistakes, but I didn't expect plot holes.

I like how the party guests think chicken nuggets, a burger, and fries is an expensive meal. It definitely isn't unless you go to Disney World or one of the few other exceptions.

The best lines in the story-

1. "Then they saw a giant indoor hot tub in the living room. They rushed over to it. Then they noticed the other guys in the pool, who were talking with each other. They put on their swim trunks, then dove in." -Hot tub or pool? You can't dive into a hot tub and expect to be OK.

2. "Then Kyle explained to everyone, 'If you get full after this meal and still feel full when you wake up, just eat breakfast really late… like at 10:00am.'" -That isn't so late for a breakfast. I have regularly had breakfast at 10am this summer when I don't have drivers ed in the morning.

3. "When everyone finished eating, it was time for the fun to begin." -I'd like to think it was fun the whole time anyway.

4. "'You’re family must be really rich,' Bob said to Kyle." -..........*sighhhhhhhhh*
