Finally, we have confirmation that a new Metroid game is in the works, being Metroid Prime 4. Unfortunately, this game has been confirmed to not be developed by Retro Studios, the company behind the original trilogy, and that it won't be coming out this year. This is still good news though, as the Wii U was missing a Metroid title, and the last one (Other M) was not well received. I hope it goes back to the original controls of Metroid Prime 1 and 2, but it's likely that a motion control option will be included, similar to what was in 3. Other than a teaser trailer though, nothing is known about the game. What do you want to see in Metroid Prime 4?

Here's everything I find wrong with prime 2:

-has dialogue and NPCs (the game is about a feeling of danger and isolation, you dont just shove NPCs in it)
-didn't have chozo lore
-boring uninspired invironments

So assuming Prime 4 has none of that, it'll be great.
