In a matter of just 9 days I went from doing my normal everyday stuff to doing my normal everyday stuff and possibly having a job.

Two mondays ago I had a meeting with someone from some program and they suggested joining the cadets, which is basically the police while in college. So I agreed to test it out and since then, I already had orientation two days ago.

Filled out a bunch of paperwork and got all sorts of info. The entire process will take a bunch of months and will include 100+ forms and a bunch of tests which include physicals, psychological, and whatever. Probably gonna fail the physical though)

If I pass everything and get hired, I'll be able to make my own schedule and pick my own precinct to work in and can work the entire time that I'm in school and once I graduate I either say goodbye forever or I can take the police officer promotion.

It would be the most money I ever made.

This is great news! Despite all those tests and forms, it sounds like a cool job, especially with it being during college. I hope it's enjoyable for you and something you'd want to pursue.
